One question, did he disappointed in Civil war because he’s against Tony or just in general?? I mean a lot of people don’t like him for taking Bucky side which’s all he actually does in the movie. Fight to protect Bucky.
CW is my least favourite Marvel movie (Ironman movies excluded) but it has nothing to do with Steve’s character arc or anyone else’s for that matter but it just lacks something.
I guess it all comes down to preference because I couldn’t sit through Ironman’s first two movies but I love Tony as an Avenger.
Neither for being against Tony or for protecting Bucky, I just didn't like his attitude and his way of handling things. Initially I actually liked the point of conflict in the film, about the accords. It was interesting bcz I could see where both of them were coming from. Tony with his guilt, feeling the need to be held accountable. While Steve who has seen how corrupt government and organisations can get, he didn't wanna place his rein in their hands. It was a really interesting argument and I kinda agreed with both sides. And if either of them had been behaving maturely, they could've reached some sort of understanding instead of having to fight it out But you know what, I don't expect maturity from Stark, I expect it from Steve. He's captain America, the whole world looks up to him, the whole team looks up to him, you'd think he'd consider the consequences of his actions a bit? But nope, he was against the accords, so he refused to see anything beyond that. "C'mon team, let's tackle this protest as impulsively as we can!" he said, and everyone followed suit 👏
Honestly, if CW made me facepalm, IW got me frustrated bcz I realised what exactly he'd done. He said the safest hands were our own, but where were these hands when a bunch of aliens attacked earth outta nowhere? Yeah, hiding out in some gutter bcz they were outlaws now. Whereas Tony, even having signed the accords and having his hands "chained" to some authority, could show up on time to tackle them. Guess who had more freedom at their disposal?
I mean... this is how laws work There are discussions and amendments and contingencies.. inputs taken, adjustments made. But you gotta have the patience and deal with it, not just up and run away. Bcz your actions do have consequences. I understand the government will always have some corrupted parties trying to take advantage, but that doesn't mean you straight up become an outlaw
I know this sounds like a rant against Steve but trust me, I don't hate him. The problem with him is that he sees the world in a very binary way, right or wrong, black or white. And once he chooses a side, he very firmly sticks to it and doesn't budge. And while this is admirable at times, more often it's just frustrating You'd think fighting a war would make someone wiser than that, make you see the greyer shades of life. Both Bucky and Sam are so much wiser than him ❤️
Please forgive me for this essay-like answer! 🙈🙈🙈

I dont blame just Steve for the time issue
All of them did a stupid thing by going for it
But in the end both Strange and Steve should have known what was to be done
Strange also was stupid as he didnt even stop Steve
Tony is been selfish agreed...many times he has done stuff he shouldn't and there is a list about it. I would take hours to talk about all his stuff
He has himself been impulsive
Even the last scene could have been avoided if he gave the stones to maybe Carol?
For a matter of fact, she has the powers of one infinity stone so surely she would have saved herself while killing Thanos
But he didn't which itself was aggravating
But that still doesn't look like he should mess up with time to go back to Peg
And secondly, Tony being like that is in each of the movies
Each movie had it
But not Steve
Steve was either great or his arc went downhill
Its aggravating coz one movie you see Cap and other movie you are confused
Perspective is different here Kiffs
You see it as blaming Steve solely but I see it as my perception
You and I both see it differently
I think Steve has a pretty understandable arc for me, but CW threw me off. And also his Endgame conclusion. I have a very 😐🤦 reaction to him in both cases.

You get that a lot when you're neutral
And I am telling you its annoying as hell
People never wish to understand and feel that you must like someone
No its not I like both
But hate both too
This! ❤️
I'll admit Tony has my heart... but that doesn't mean I don't complain about him. Guy is a real wacko sometimes 🤦 I positively hated him in the comics, but mcu Tony is so well fleshed out.. he's got the same flaws but with an actual vulnerable human side. It's all RDJ magic 😍❤️
And cap, for all his flaws... I do like him as a character. In fact, most of my frustrations with him stem from the fact that I expect so much of him 😪
🤣🤣🤣🤣 I have so many friends 🤣
But i tagged those jinhe mein bhi nhi janti thi 😭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
