The last 10 minutes of the episode were so annoying with PP and her bakwaas but I never thought that I could get annoyed with Sai. Why was she doing, "mere in-laws kitne ache hai" so much? Kaun acha hai bhai? Just Ashwini right? Ho kya gaya hai is ladki ko?

So what do you expect her to say? Her in laws are rude? How could she when she had half of them always support her,I am counting Ninad now. I hope he remains positive. Aswini,Shivani,Devi,Mohit,Manasi and Ninad ...

We can not expose our own people before others. I dont know about others but I never did so because it is our personal issue.

Sai being good hearted and positive, could never badmouth them before strangers like Ajinkya. I remember her though sharing her personal matter with Pulkit which is sensible since he is her Jijaji and someone she looked up to always. Ajinkya is a noramal friend in Sai’s own words. So whatever issues are there Sai won’t reveal them at all, before him.

Mohit and Devi and Manasi are lightweights. Ashwini and Shivani have supported her but the main in-laws, Trumurti + Sonali have been nothing but horrible. She doesn't have to badmouth them to Ajinkya but what's with this over sweetness?

You know if we actually count Aswini and Ninad matter because they are her in-laws in true sense. So may be with Ninad turning positive Sai overlooked the toxicity of the remaining members. I agree they are not worthy to shower sweetness but Sai won’t think that way.

Well even I was shocked and didn’t know how to react to that statement. But did you also hear her telling Ajinkya to tell their friends how good her in-laws are? Well, that caught my attention and I could see why the girl behaves that way with everyone at home off late and also why she said that her in laws are very good people.

At the end of the day Sai is a college going girl who would like to make friends, like to have a social life like how she told Virat. Her problems at home are a never ending one and off late she has been trying to adapt and mend her ways to make her life less miserable. Her feelings for Virat has been a push to do it, for her to mend her relationship with people at home. Also, after she returned from GC, after she got Devi and Kaku together which by itself was a miracle, she could see things in a different light. She could see a different Kaku but that didn’t stop her from questioning Kaku about Harini in the birthday party. She even asked Kaku how she could call a child ganda khoon.

Kaku warming up to Devi, showering her love on Devi gave Sai hopes the very first time Devi Pulkit had come for lunch. Kaku and others attending the birthday party, even if it was out of force, she could see Kaku doing it for Devi. Anyone who sees a family together like that in an event, in an occasion would start to hope for the family to stay happy and together like that always. It would make them want a family like that.

When they accepted Devi, I think she felt that if she also brings in some changes in her, she too would be accepted by these people one day. The fight after the Harini Devi milan made her upset. She was already upset with Virat and the way her life was, and the people at home again started to taunt her. She would have never expected that these people would still not be able to see the real her. She wouldn’t have expected them to be rude and hostile with her even after she had been doing good things for the family. She didn’t do any of those to make these people like her or with any benefit in return, but no one would also expect that even after they do a lot of good things, people would continue to be evil and hostile with them. Hence them behaving rude with her wasn’t something that she could take. And it didn’t end there, Pakhi made it worse.

Sai knows that Pakhi is the one who is instigating people against her and that is why she didn’t want to let Pakhi also go that day. She wanted to end Pakhi’s issues and sat down without starting to college. She knows that if Pakhi had not started that, people at home would have just mocked at her or questioned her but would have anyway left it. Pakhi dragged it and made things ugly. And what is Pakhi’s problem? Sai’s relationship with Virat, hence she chose to confront her so that she puts an end to the use once and for all.

Her asking Virat if family would be okay for her to gift shows the changes in Sai, it shows how she has started to think about what the family would like and wouldn’t. The saree drama broke her down. She tried to fight as much as she could but her main fight was with Pakhi since Pakhi is the one who always tries to make issues or who keeps trying to instigate the family against her. Hence she confronted Pakhi again with what her real was. She returned home only to hear another set of taunts and abuses. Any person would get tired of it if people are not willing to look at any of their good qualities but who make mountain out of a molehill. She had even then refused to apologise to Pakhi but at the end gave up. She didn’t apologise because they had all asked to but because she felt guilty that Pakhi didn’t have her food because of her.

And then came the ruby pendant scene, college scene where she wanted the family to attend it.

If you look at all the above sequence of events, it shows how much Sai wanted peace in the house, how she wanted them to accept her, how tired she was due to all the drama. In all these, she had also started to make friends, she had started to build her own social life.

Sai was sharing with Virat about how the family of her college friends would be attending the college function and also said that she doesn’t have anyone and Chavan family is her family as long as she lives with them. This shows that she wants to call someone her family. Even during the day when they all wore yellow coloured dresses, she prayed for the welfare of everyone in the house. Just because Sai fights back, it doesn’t mean she wouldn’t think good for them. Her Dad would have taught her how to only think good for everyone but he had also given her enough freedom to stand up for herself and fight against people who acts unfair with her or anyone else. That’s why she has never hesitated to give it back to these people. But that wouldn’t mean that she hates these people. That is her survival mechanism, it is a way to cope with such bullies. But at the same time, she would also wish for these people to act nice with her and she started to wish that after she returned to CN, after Devi Kaku milan and Harini’s birthday party.

She wouldn’t have wanted to be left alone when her friends are talking about their family. She would have missed having a family, wouldn’t have been able to tell them how these people treat her. She had even started to bring in some changes in her to make them accept her, to make them warm up to her and also to make her life less miserable. She would only want to tell good things about the family to her friends and not act like a victim or share her misery with them. Each person is different, some would want to boast about their clothing, some would boast about their gadgets and some would boast about their vehicle. In college when one friend says I have this, the other would say I too have this.

Sai is actually feeling so lonely, so much affected by everything and looks like she wants to talk about family like how her friends do. She has started to bring in amendments within her to make it possible, to be accepted by the family and in this process, why would she talk ill about the family?

She would only want to say good things about the family. She wouldn’t want to be an odd person, be someone whom her friends would pity or feel sorry for. Hence, not only did she talk good about the family, she also asked Ajinkya to tell her friends how good her family is like a child.

Our actions are driven by many things, many people whom we interact with. We learn new things when being exposed to different kind of people and environment. The more she stays in Chavans, the more she will be fighting everyday for her survival, it can make a person bitter but Sai has a lot of good values, values imbibed in her by her Dad that doesn’t let her turn into a bitter person. Infact due to all her interactions with the good and right people at home and outside home, she is turning into a better person, learning how to act patient, how to deal with certain things, how to ignore certain things.

In a way, she has a lot of people at home who loves her like Ashwini, Devi, Shivani, Mohit and now even Mansi bua and Ninad.

Sai is not a person who looks at things as half empty, she is a person who would look at it as half full.

I understand what you are trying to say. She said the same thing during the College fest too. But the thing is these people, Ajinkya and her other college friends, are outsiders. And it doesn't matter how arrogant the Chavans are, Sai still consider them as her family, so she wouldn't tell the outsiders about her personal family problems. Even if she didn't cosnider them her family, Sai still isn't someone who will complain about her personal problems to others. So, I didn't find that statement surprising. And I am not considering the Chavan's neighborhood fiasco, because that time the situation was different.

She was being nice here.. did not want to expose family’s ugliness to an aquaintance.. Any decent lady will not criticize her in-laws to a fellow classmate… that is the fact.

Today she commented on how her in-laws came and cheered her in the college fest.. if they were that supportive and forthcoming.. why did she have to give a speech on how sorry she was to fake them into attending the fest and made her own friends participate in the scheme.. Won’t Ajinkya know this provided, he was sharing the same stage at that time? .

Also why is asking Ajinkya to fake praise her in-laws to their college friends?? Absurd isn’t it?

I don’t think there is any use in delving into these dialogues, when the makers and dialogue writers don’t care. The dialogue writers are really crappy.
