LOL pulled up a random epi from that old Ashnoor show and remembered why I initially liked it quite a bit......ensemble cast was well put together and woh Muslim backdrop bhi subtly dikhaya tha, not garish style mein......mom-daughter ka relationship was lovely too and the way ML-FL ka dynamic was built up subtly was nice too......ML ka woh dost was a very nice character too

LOL just realized that the guy who played Barkha's husband in this is now playing ML ka father in SAKK😆.....he also played one of Megha's suitors in NBT at one point.....lol

It does have NBT vibes but a lot will depend on the actors ka capability to pull off the dynamic between the two lead characters......I've seen this Hassan guy's work before in that Ashnoor show toh mujhe iska level pata hai😆.....but it depends if they can build something meaningful out of the actors ki capability ya surface cliches tak hi reh jaayega......Mohan-Megha worked cuz the writing had subtlety and Kunal-Akanksha played well off each other.

Promos are lovely right now but I'm still keeping my expectations low until I get a sense of how the character dynamics will be in the actual episodes.....agar cliched kiya then it will fall flat.....they need to develop the unusual friendship dhang se warna none of this will work.

Word hassan always play same character even in that khotte sikke he was the druggie who was charged for his GF's murder then it was same in that ashnoor show so he has pretty 1 dimensional filmography only..

Promos tkh aaj kak sab bana lete hain ache asal kaam toh baad main hota hai so too early to judge ...saari mehnat promos main hi karte hain asaltoh kitne paani main hain will know only after a month or so can first 2 weeks toh waise hi grace period hita hai let's see how it pans out In reality will give a try though caz intriguing hai

NBT ka basic hai but they really did magic woh dobara create karna is too hard

LOL yeah it seems he's playing some variation of a drunkard in every role 😆.......and yahaan bhi promos mein lag raha hai ki drinking ki aadat wala hi hoga since he asked the FL in one promo if drinking is allowed in the house......lol

Baaki toh sab execution pe depend karta hai......agar cliched drunk/brooding tak rakha toh may fall flat....usse thoda variate karne ki koshish ki toh better hoga......waise he seems like a mellow version of that Ashnoor show character so far....usmein zyada bad tempered and rude tha I think....yahaan he just seems generally sarcastic.....lol.....plus the family might be a good foil. Baaki FL has a serenity in her character so far so that might work too.

Hahab yes the daadu's character was so nice and lol this guy played maryam ka daddy bhi with the same daadu in maryam show and then he played shraddha Arya ka husband where she was evil is dreamgirl and I have hated him in every single of those roles something about him is just such a turn off caz he gets always these loser type roles..hahaha

The mother daughter were good but they went too ham on zulm and character assassinating barkha's character and that is when I quit but I remember seeing your posts there for a while hahah and contributing.. and damn I miss this all stupid features but we can't find our posts in specific old forums kabhi kabhi itna dil karta hai ke old shows pe tippani padhein but can never find

LOL haan it was a mixed bag....I also got put off by the excessive zulm on maa-beti but other than that I liked how they had built up the Muslim atmosphere and characters ka baat karne ka tareeka and interactions.....old school sa vibe tha rather than aajkal ke shows jinmein sab garish dikhaate hain. Woh tehzeeb and language wala aspect was still coming through in this show.

The ML and uske friend/Maamu ka relationship was a really lovely one too.....again, good actor cast for that role.....most of the casting was good in this show.

Yes they have a subtleness and woh tehraav..hahab drinking and this guy seem to be atoot Bandhan isme abusive nahi haj woh ashnoor show main he was full on gaali galoch type bewada isme low key lag rsha hsi dekhte hain inka lady show was bekaar even though it had ST so idk lol

Oh wow, this description made me remember the whole show! I started watching it for Barkha and Ashnoor. Mom and daughter relationship was built really well and both good actors too:)

Oh I actually loved khoote sikke it was such a good crime show and all of these guys were so good and had a motive to sudharo the spoilt brats of high society by recruiting them as special task force it was on Netflix a while back too. He is a good actor but just same role never saw him do anything else haha
