@first bold: She didn't want to tell Virat why she needed the money because she wants the harmonium for Ninand to be a surprise for the entire family. As usual, she came across as impulsive and stubborn, but her intentions were pure. And, Virat knows this by know...he has said to the family multiple times, and he became quiet when Sai told him she doesn't do anything wrong, because he knows it's the truth. Although it can seem to be a bit much at times, this childish attitude in Sai is what makes her character so enduring...at least to me. She is so mature and yet so childish at the same time. Virat was annoyed, but he was clearly smitten by and enjoying his baiko's tactics too. I loved his smile at the end when she ran away.
@second bold: Sai has sympathy for everyone. That is who she is. She feels everyone's pain, and cannot see anyone hurt. Despite Pakhi being absolutely vile and disgusting to her, she has always given her respect. Sai does not know the true nature of Virat and Pakhi's past relationship...that it was merely a few day infatuation at most. In her mind, Virat made this huge vaada to her on their wedding day because of Pakhi, so it must have been something deeper and more meaningful than what we know the truth to be. So, in this regard, I don't think we can blame her. The dialogue about the kaboo made me uncomfortable as well, but looking at it from Sai's perspective, she is completely over this nonsense now. It wasn't a reflection about how she feels about Virat, but rather about Pakhi. How much lurking and interference is she supposed to tolerate? She just wanted the fight to end, and I agree that those words rubbed the wrong way. More than anything Sai said in that scene in terms of her relationship with Virat, it was her expression when Pakhi told Virat that he is fully Sai's now that stood out to me. She immediately looked to Virat for his reaction...because again, like we have discussed in various posts from yesterday, I firmly believe that Sai needs stern, direct, and unwavering affirmation from Virat that this is real...everything that Sai is feeling for him and everything that Sai thinks he is feeling for her....it is all the purest and more real truth in their lives.
Had to use lots of color 😂
@red- yes her intentions have always been pure, but is it necessary to hide everything from Virat. Fair enough it's a surprise for Ninad but not Virat right. Wasn't it easier when she told virat before inviting pulkit home or Harini's BD . when Virat was supporting her, she herself said that having Virat support her was enough and she was no longer scared. Why couldn't she share with virat and ask him to keep it a secret? He would have gladly done so instead of dealing with c gang and Pakhi in the evening taunting Sai and him having no excuse. I will wait to speak more after the scene airs.
@black yes I agree she has sympathy for everyone , then why not for Virat? Why didn't she feel bad for Virat that pakhi keeps on accusing him. Recall she defended him in the past when Pakhi accused him of dhoka after the pulkit incident and when she came late at night about the bank nominee. What has changed since then that Pakhi directly taunting Virat is not effecting her and she sympathizes with her especially when she was taunting them non stop 🤔. I have never ever seen her taking taunts so patiently like shown in the past couple of episodes, either this is a lost in translation issue or their creativity not sure.
@ blue - exactly my point. She doesn't know the truth so why give sai a dialogue that she understands her pain. How does she understand her pain unless this dialogue only means she can see her pain since she is crying all the time. Why didn't she remind Pakhi of her self-respect like she usually does especially when Virat was so blunt and told her , he doesn't care about her dreams or kwaaishye (😂 by this word is giving me a laughter attack) , and why give her a sympathy dialogue. All the dialogues here felt like the makers are trying to gain sympathy for Pakhi through Sai so the audience also sympathizes with Pakhi 🤔 unless these are a exact copy from KD.
@pink Yes agree she may not have meant it that way, but once you hear the dialogue and Virats expressions it came across bad. And I agree why should she take any intereference from Pakhi , she shouldn't. Why wasn't she directing her anger at Pakhi when she shamelessly spoke of her dreams. Why didn't the makers make Sai remind Pakhi of the zillat drama immediately ? Today Pakhi had so many rude dialogues directed at Sai , but none for Sai to counter her shamelessness. The writer really needs some brickbats for this scene.
@black underlined 😂- yes she was, but then again she needs to let Virat speak , she already rejected him yesterday for an indirect proposal 😂. If Virat needs to confess he may have to put a tape on Sais mouth and then confess since she won't allow him to speak ever without coming up with her own conclusions.
