I was thinking again ki kuch nahin jaayega to just show simple scenes of Adi-Imlie having some interactions beyond homework and college also.....khaane pe hi baatein kar lein....but every convo just goes either in talking about family ko tackle karna or homework inquiry😆.....while I do appreciate the concern for her studies, they can deffo banter on other topics also.....khaana being an obvious one.....or any old memory from their first meet at PD.

Adi-Imlie follow up scene ke expectations I'm keeping low only.....when writers go into this disjointed/out of order scenes shooting mode, there are just no guarantees.

Bas itna clear hai ki they will soon switch gears into bahu wala competition, maybe within the Monday epi only😆....so dekhte hain if they bother transitioning smoothly ki sudden hi karenge.

There is already an uncomfortable situation at home and it increased 10 folds by Malini's presence. Adi already asked Malini in couple of instances 'why did she come'; first when Aparna was trying to send Imlie away and then today. So, he felt like he wanted to make things clear for Malini

2. Our divorce is mutual

3. We never loved each other, it is only friendship

4. You said you are happy with KC

5. I need the divorce ASAP, so that I can register my marriage with Imlie and make it official as well

He tried to as clear to Malini while being polite.

Does he have any intuition that Malini still love him?? may be not... Adi doesn't think much about any one and what they are feeling or what they would feel, except for Imlie.

Would didi stay away after Adi chopped her politely... a big NO, story mein drama kaha se hogi phir. Didi needs her 10 mins screen presence.

See mera problem is not the conversation itself though i have problems with that too mera problem is running behind loser when imlie have had a crisis situation inside.. it is not prioritizing her . None of the things he said needed that urgency what was so urgent thay he couldn't say over a phone or later..imlie needed him then the most..the other day too they did the same bakwaas after the table tod shaadi there was no follow up of the 2 and ab bhi itne vaade ke baad bhi. While I do not doubt his word or vaada it just feels bizzare and leaves you with a bad mood ..ke kya hai phir Point jab prioritize kisi aur ke jhoote ansoos ko karna hai. If it was his urgency ke imlie toh ghar main hi hai didi bhaag jaayegi toh bhi again as I said none of it was that urgent ke baad main nahi bol sakta 5 mins imlie ko comfort karke

Since Imlie’s has to cook in her wedding saree and she said in an interview that she is going to get emotional when she wears it, I am so hoping it’s an Adi Imlie scene and Adi giving her the strength to get through it

But I am looking forward to some cooking talks - good break from the “naajayaz” and “besharm” talks.

I very well know these token scenes will keep happening, Adi will always remain oblivious - he has no EFFING clue about Malini's shameless nautankis....otherwise any sane person would see through her bullshit about "Maa ne bulaya".....he only pointed out to her one time after his fainting episode ki aapko toh samajh jaana chahiye tha and she SNAPPED at him....tabse DARR ke baitha lagta hai and doesn't seem to have the guts to ask her why she keeps showing up like this kisi ke bhi bulaane pe😆.....both of them are doing their usual gol mol superficial talks which just make for such an ARTIFICIAL vibe and that is what I DISLIKE.

The scene would have transitioned better if they started off with Adi apologizing to her for the embarrassment she had to face after coming there....agar token propping up and mahaanta hi dikhaani hai toh might as well start off with a sorry.......instead they showed wohi usual bakwaas of Didi trying to "advise" him to give time to the family.....that is the grating part....the woman who herself shows up to shamelessly enjoy parading as his wife is telling him to give time to the family and he's all like, 'I COMPLETELY understand, Malini".

Then the next grating part is him again reiterating ki Imlie is your SISTER, my family should remember that and stop considering her naukraani.....lol the jarring disconnect on this point.....when has he last seen them interact as sisters jo ki us baat ki duhaai de raha hai? Does he see any LOVE or EMPATHY in Malini's eyes when he calls Imlie her sister? But no, bas bhaashan diye jaao rattu tote ki tarhaan.

If this was Adi's way of doing "polite" chop, Didi toh kya, kisi pe bhi kaam nahin karega yeh.....the very fact that you gave her the ATTENTION of coming after her to show token concern also is good enough for a despo like her......so he can say a 100 times that there was never love between us but it will never get through her thick skull cuz shamelessness doesn't recognize facts.

Yes, at the end of the day, his main intent with that scene was to convey that he's struggling with making his family understand this divorce is mutual and him and Malini have both moved on, so he wants her help with that.....but I was just finding all this so strange to hear since SHE was the one who FIRST asked for the divorce....and now ADI has to CONVINCE everyone that it's MUTUAL? 😕😆......they are all acting like the past 2 months never happened when Didi put on a grand show of initiating divorce proceedings and proclaiming her love for KC.....every person needs a memory booster shot every month it seems.....they all seem to have forgotten that scene when Adi explained to them why the divorce is happening mutually....back then the family was presuming Malini is initiating the divorce and Adi doesn't want it even though he did tell them he also has a reason to want the divorce.

And this is mainly because Malini is now deliberately staying SILENT in the face of anyone asking her about the divorce and getting back together with Adi....she takes LONG pauses and tells very unconvincing lies......she has as usual flipped on her own decision about the divorce while Adi is still taking her original stance as her intent.......once again a clear picture of total lack of understanding but sure, they will continue to be shown as "friends".

Didi has successfully managed to twist the whole narrative again by playing the silent sufferer act after the full truth coming out......now even with her token mentions of KC, no one is convinced with her faltu acting cuz she keeps showing up muh uthaa ke at T house everyday.....toh koi bhi sochega she's holding on for reconciliation again no matter what she says......and the blame is again falling on Adi alone for supposedly not valuing her......

And again, is sab mein IMLIE kahaan hai phir? lol jiske haq ke liye supposedly sab lad rahe hain.....all lost again in Malini obsession. That's when the story gets grating.

Basically my stance is that at the end of a week where Adi was shown doing grand gestures of saath for Imlie and showing some long overdue focus on Imlie rather than being stuck managing token lihaaz of Didi, we were again dragged back to square one with wohi need to show token "dosti discussion" of AM and break the flow of that whole build up of Adi saying he will give Imlie ka saath.....wohi irony hai ki he brought her out to the function by saying, "Hum tumhare saath hain" and the moment she left after being so heartbroken over hearing all that, Saathi saab toh dost ke peechhe chale gaye.....lol toh kahaan gaya saath tab?

Writers messed up the timing on this in the need to insert token AM scene....would have been better to show this scene earlier in the week when she showed up for Imlie ka throwing out session......instead it got worse to show it at this point after all of Adi's grand "saath" bhaashans to Imlie.

The AM scenes are never going to look natural because the writers conveniently want us to forget how AM reached the point of divorce. Their relationship was very turbulent since Adi came back from 3rd PD trip. And they fought like cats & dogs as well.

And based on what Adi said during & after the fights it was clear that he had recognised her ghatiyapanti & nautankis that she did. Be it his I cannot talk to her right now because unki tabeeyat thik nahi hai or him telling Imlie that AM would have separated even without Imlie, or him calling her Mrs. C or him feeling suffocated in his own room because of Didi. So they both were fighting bitterly. After that toh she committed suicide.

But since the time Didi has told about her so called relationship with someone it is as if writers gave him a memory loss pill about Didi ki ghatiya harkatein. He has become overly cordial & polite to her as if he has forgotten how vile Didi behaved with Imlie or him. Didi ki puri slate hi clean kar di. And they cannot tell us that it is because he knew Didi was Imlie's sister because he had known it since 3rd PD trip & still managed to have many bitter fights with her after that. Hence their gehri dosti, cordial & maturity ki baatein look plain ridiculous.

Again in their need to keep Didi relevant in the story, Adi was made to conveniently forget faults of Didi. Matlab jaise Didi ne toh kabhi kuch kiya hi na ho. Why the writers fear calling out Didi's faults in the show is a mystery to me? Is it because then you cannot promote her as a mature, independent, progressive character? Well that train has left the station a long time back. Even though no one in the show can see her faults, the audience can see her 100 faults clearly in each of her scenes. At least the majority of the sensible audience & not those who are watching a completely different show😛.

The writers can conveniently make the characters in the story get amnesia about Didi but they cannot make the audience forget what her character actually has done in the story. But nahi. They won't give up beating this dead horse of making audience buy into their Didi is mature, samajhdar, independent, progressive woman image. The audience will never buy into it & it makes the other characters in the show come across as akkal se paidal regarding Didi.

You know it won't be difficult for the writers to show that Adi recognises Didi ka behaviour but he conveniently keeps on doing BFF giri jaap to nikalvao his own kaam. At least then Adi will come across as a smart cookie that he is just putting a front of buying into her bechargi & mahanta to extract himself from the relationship by getting the divorce as easily as possible. But nahi. Writers don't want to show him also as so selfish & his actual grey shades. Toh phir toh both Didi & Adi come across as big BHONDUS only🤣.

You know what I am going to call the AM scenes as BHONDUS scenes henceforth😂😂😂.

Imlie bechari ko toh kabhi Didi Jaap se bahar nahi nikalenge yeh log. So it is hopeless to expect anything on that front. Uske liye toh Didi humesha "pyaari" hi rahegi😆.

I understand where you are coming from AY, for now I am still confident there will be a follow up Adi Imlie scene in Monday’s episode, so I am holding on till then. If we do not get their scene, then I will join you and vent my frustration 😆

Whenever there is a uncomfortable situation at home, we first farewell our guests and the go to our loved once to pacify them. For me Adi’s gesture looked more like this. Everyone left, Malini was going alone and just went to see her off and then had the conversation and ignore all Adi’s ‘aap mere sabse achi dosth hai’ ‘apne hamare liye bahut kuch kiya’ ‘ Imlie aapki sister hai’ and all that nonsense, because it is just that nonsense, this doesn’t doesn’t mean a thing when he says that.

Last time when Didi came, T’s invited her to talk with Malini. He didn’t go then, because we don’t wanted to be privy to that discussion and elder T’s itself might have saw her off. There is no reason for Adi to go after her.

@bold Adi was not there, whenever Malini stayed silent when anyone brought up about divorce. So, he never saw her hesitation. He only knows that Malini loves KC, he came to give company when Dev was in hospital, they went to Manali together without telling anyone and their PDA in KC’s office couple of times and then KC showing enthusiasm to meet Malini when he brought SK back. and since Adi takes everything at face value when it comes to anyone except Imlie, he is still under impression that Malini is happy with KC and he also brought in the excuse that Malini is coming home only because Aparna is calling her, that was the excuse she gave on all three instances, when he fainted, when Imlie was thrown out and even today.

But seriously I felt that scene so hilarious — bail budhi babusaheb 😆.. will he ever figure out what kind of a person Malini is??
