She is not materialistic.she is having some genuine problems adjusting to the family.imagine growing up in a bungalow with all the luxuries, and then having to ask your husband's bhabi for the smallest of expenses, using a bathroom that is used by 8 members.it can take a toll on a person.

Practically and realistically speaking there is no harm if Janu and family gift her something, under normal circumstances when everything is fine between the two families.
