Ragie > Hi. Is it true that you refused to do Govinda's film Ssukh ? Why? Newcomers or actors trying to establish themselves in the industry would give away their right hand for such an opportunity....
Shilpa Shinde > Actually, I am under contract with UTV (TV production house that's producing Bhabhi ) and once I give commitment whether small or big, commitment is commitment. And that's why I couldn't do the movie Ssukh . I am no longer working in Bhabhi . I am currently doing a serial called Meher on another TV channel.

Rahul_delhi_se > Is that true that once you were interested in teaching? If yes then what made you change your plans?
Shilpa Shinde > Yes, I was interested in teaching but I am not so talented as to teach students.

Dreams > Why did you become an actress and when did the process start? When did you get your first break?
Shilpa Shinde > It started five years back and my first break was a press ad for a skin cream. I became an actress, as I wanted to be famous and I thought that acting was the best job and plus it was good money.

Mili > How did you feel when you had to refuse Ssukh with Govinda? Didn't you feel a wee bit of regret? Didn't you try talking to UTV to let you do this film? Please answer honestly...
Shilpa Shinde > Yes, I did feel bad when I had to refuse the movie. And yes, I tried talking to UTV, but I was under contract and the movie shoot was an out door affair. I didn't have dates to spare either.

Rahul_delhi_se > What according to you is your sex appeal?
Shilpa Shinde > My eyes.

Lili > Are you seeing anyone currently? It is said that you had problems with your other co-star on the sets of Sanjeevani because of your closeness to actor Mihir Misra? Is it true? Were you two seeing each other? Why did you split?
Shilpa Shinde > No, I am single. I was close to Mihir but it was purely friendship. I didn't have any problems with my other co-stars.

Kimi > Did Govinda approach you personally? What offer did he make and what reason did he give for choosing you to do his film? How did he come to know about you?
Shilpa Shinde > I have done one movie ( Dil Bhi Kya Cheez Hai ) made by Vinay Anand (Govinda's nephew). And that's how Govinda had known about me. He complimented me saying that I was doing a good job in Bhabhi. He wanted a complete Indian face and a good actress, so he asked me. Govinda approached me through Vinay Anand.

Rahul_delhi_se > What is your definition of an ideal man? Who is your dream date?
Shilpa Shinde > An ideal man should have good nature, be very humble, caring and very honest. My dream date would be Aamir Khan. I am a big fan of his.

Mona > Hi, do you think love and marriage on the rebound does not last long and are not the right things to do?
Shilpa Shinde > Nothing like that. It depends on each individual.

Jgs > What do you think about skin flicks and item numbers doing the rounds now? Are you open to doing such roles? Why?
Shilpa Shinde > I am not open to doing such roles because I am not comfortable with too much exposing. I think it's a bad thing to expose.

Mili > When is your birthday?
Shilpa Shinde > 28th of August.

Reshma > Hi Shilpa Tu Khup Cute Distes . Tu Marathi Picture Ka Karat Nahis? (You look very cute. Why don't you act in Marathi movies?)
Shilpa Shinde > Thank you. I have done one Marathi film it's called lake Ladki Ya Gharchi. As of now, I am not doing any Mararthi movies because I don't get the time.

Rahul_delhi_se > Have you ever done any Pakistani play or album? I have seen your look alike in one of the videos?
Shilpa Shinde > I have done a Pakistani serial for go channel.
