Chill, don't take so much stress that it exhausts you. I get what you're saying, you make sense.
I know, this dialogue was particularly heart-wrenching. Amna, whether or not you watch the whole episode, watch this confrontation. It's beautiful, and Shivi nailed it.
I will try to watch the episode tomorrow. I am not planning to skip episodes anyway.

Unpopular opinion but I really think that Raghav was very much affected when she opened up about her past . This was the first time she talked about it.. and he looked visibly moved (to me) and I believe that had it been a normal circumstance he would have reacted the way he wanted him to.. but this was no ordinary circumstance. He knows she is absolutely justified in being disappointed in him.. and her hurt is not uncalled for.. that guilt is very much there but there is still a job that needs to be done and that atleast he feels is his duty as a brother. So to me it seemed like he deliberately didnt allow himself to feel for her beyond a point, so that the guilt doesnt take over and he doesnt have a moment of weakness which he might regret later.
Oh he was very, very affected. It took everything in him to maintain his composure, he looked visibly moved to me also. Like I said, as much as it pierced my heart to hear her speak, it pierced hers to. But he didn't really express any of that, did he? Would she not be justified in closing herself off to him after his rather cold response to her emotional outburst? Humein pata hai what internal turmoil he's going through, Pallavi ko kaise pata chalega? He's complained about her being closed off to him about her past. She opened up twice. The first time, he didn't respond and put her to sleep (granted, she needed that) and the second time he basically said, "too bad, deal with it". Koi bhi insecure ho jaaye iske baad toh.
(Keh rahi hoon, life would be easier if I only liked one of the two. Subah se pata nahi kahaan kab kisko criticize aur kisko defend kar rahi hoon, mera toh sar hi ghoom gaya)
this is a perfect parallel
