I think he has made up for mistakes in beginning of S2 against Kallu and Anu, and if Anu wasn't convinced she shouldn't have remarried him, period.

But yes, I also feel the worst for Gungun... even though she'd have her father, a loving duo of sister/brother who are married to each other (😂😂), Moksh and his future sibling and AS... so basically she wouldn't be alone, a mother is a mother and can't be substituted with anybody else.
