His confidence is he is the one who hated imlie more than anybody. He have enough reason for that. Even he can change his attitude but why don’t others.

I don’t know on what basis he saying like this. May be he thinks when he said he wants to marry Malini his family accepted, likewise now also they accept his wish.

Obviously he doesn’t think his family is class concious and all. Even I think Pallavi and Nidhi is from same class. Only Malini is shown as super rich . They give right of choice in case of partners for all the three.
