Part - 100

Geet keeps thinking about how to stop Maan before it is too late...

Geet decides that it's time to talk to Maan and clear a few things out...

Geet knows that Maan wants to redeem himself for whatever he did in the past....

That's fine but that doesn't mean that he can just leave or come back as and when he wishes.... It's not a joke, it's someone's life, he has no rights to play with her emotions....

That night Geet puts Aditi to sleep and she just couldn't sleep....

She has to confront Maan and tell him that he can't keep doing this any longer......

Geet gets out of her room and looks at Maan's room.... The lights are still on.... He must be awake....

Geet decides to go and talk to Maan...

Geet gets to the door and hesitates... She stands there thinking if she should knock the door or just leave him alone....

Maan sees the shadow behind the door and knows that it's Geet...

Maan comes to get the door but hearing his foot steps Geet steps back and tries to leave...

Maan follows her and catches hold of her...

Maan: Geet, iss waqt tum yahan

Maan is pleasantly surprised...

Geet knows that from his teasing tone...

Geet: woh mujhe neendh nahi aa rahi thi, issiliye meine socha shayad thoda walk karoon

Maan: ohh tum yahan walk kar rahi thi, ok Geet, mujhe laga tum mujhse kuch zaroori baat karne aayii ho, you carry on, mujhe bahut neendh aa rahi hai

Maan turns back to go to his room...

Geet: suno

Maan turns towards Geet pretty excited....

Maan: sunao

Geet: woh mujhe aap se baat karni hai

Maan knows that he has been waiting for that only....

Maan: chalo Geet, andar beitke baat kar sakte hai

Geet follows him to his room....

Maan pulls the chair and asks her to sit while he sits on the bed comfortably facing her....

Geet sits and avoids looking into his eyes for they easily distract her....

Maan: bathao Geet, kya baat hai?

Geet: aap bahut badla badla lag rahe ho aajkal

Maan: toh iss badlaav tumme achcha lagtha ya nahi?

Geet has no answer... She can't say that she is happy with that and also can't lie that she is not so happy with it

Maan: tummare problem kya hai Geet?

Geet: aap ko kya lagtha? aap jab chahe jo chahe karthe raho ge aur sab appke hisaab se hi chalega?

Maan: aaisa hotha toh mein kush hotha, par mein apne tarah se kosish toh kar sakta na?

Geet: aap ye sab kyun kar rahe ho?

Maan: meine aaisa kya kiya Geet?

Geet: hum toh apne Zindagi mein kush the, humme kissi aur ki zaroorat kabhi nahi hothi, aap toh aaj hi kal nahi honge, har din badlte hai aapka dastaan, ab aap humme akhele kyun nahi chodte?

Maan thinks Geet is worried about Aditi....

Maan: kuch nahi badlega Geet, Aditi meri beti hai aur ye sachayi ko kabhi nahi badal sakthe, waise hi mera rishta uske saath kabhi nahi badalega, chahe hum saath rehthe ya nahi

Geet: aap ne kabhi mere barein mein socha? mein toh bas apne Zindagi se apne tareekhe se jeene ki koshish kar rahi thi, jab aap achanak ek toofan ki tarah mere zindagi mein aaye aur mujhe atranghi sapne dikhathe, jab meine uss sapne ko hi sach samajhne lagi aur kush ho rahi thi tab aap jaise hi aaye waise hi ek toofan banke mere zindagi ko palat ke sare sapnon ko tukhrakhe chale gaye, ab wapas koi toofan lekhe aaye ho toh mujhe himmat nahi hai aapka swagat karne ki, Ab dubara sabko jelne ki takat mujhme nahi hai, mein ye nahi kar sakthi

Geet toh toot jaathi....

Maan lifts her up and pulls her into a hug.....

Maan: mein sab samajh sakta hoon Geet, iss bar koi galti nahi hogi

Geet relieves herself from his hold and steps back....

Maan looks at her confused....

Geet: haan, iss bar koi galti hone nahi doongi mein, ab mein wahi galthi ko dubara nahi karoongi, mein aap ko kabhi maaf nahi kar sakthi, samjhe aap?

Maan: aakhir meri galthi kya hai Geet?

Geet: aap kabhi nahi sudhroge, abhi bhi aap ko lagtha hai ki aapne koi galti nahi ki

Maan: maantha hoon ki mujhe aaise tujhe akhele chodke baagna nahi chahiye tha, par meine ye apne aap se nahi kiya hai, mujhe toh apne iss

badkismat zindagi ko jeena mein koi diljasbi nahi thi, par jab tum mere zindagi mein aayi thi mujhe bhi tummare saath iss zindagi ko puri tarah jeene ki chahat hui, meine bhi jeene ki umeed rakha, par jab tumne hi mere saath choda aur mujhe apne aap se dhoor jaane ke liye kaha toh mein kya kar sakta Geet?

Geet remains silent.....

Maan looks seriously into Geet's eyes and continues...

He is fed up with Geet taking him for granted always.....

Maan: meine galthi kar diya toh isska matlab ye nahi ki mein tumme bhi galthi karne doonga, woh kabhi nahi hoga Geet, tum kabhi galat nahi ho sakthi, meri Geet hamesha sahi hi hogi, samjhi tum

Maan warns Geet.....

Geet: meine kya kiya?

Maan: ye shadhi ka drama?

Geet: drama?

Maan gets closer....: aur kya?

Geet: aap shadhi ke barein mein kya jaanthe?

Maan: mein shadhi ke barein mein kuch nahi jaantha, par mein apne Geet ko bahut achche se jaantha hoon, aur woh iss shadhi se kabhi kush nahi reh sakthi

Geet: aap mere barein mein kuch nahi jaanthe, warna aap pehle hi mujhe chodke nahi jaathe

Maan: nahi jaantha tha, par ab mein ne bahut achche se jaan liya, shayad tumse bhi zyada jaan liya

Geet: ye aapki galatfami hai

Maan: Geet, tum mujhe hurt karne ke koshish mein apne aap ko hurt kar rahi ho, mein tumme aaise dard mein nahi dekh saktha, kyunki tummare aasoon se mujhe dukh hotha hai Geet, mere hothe hue mere Geet ko koi bhi hurt nahi kar saktha, tum bhi nahi, samjhi tum?

Maan raises his tone to show that he is really serious this time....

Geet: mein apne zindagi mein bahut kush hoon

Maan: Kaise kushi Geet? kya tum sach mein mere wapas aane se kush nahi hui?

Geet: nahi, mujhe koi farak nahi padtha

Maan catches hold of her and pulls her into a hug....

Maan: kya abhi bhi koi farak nahi padtha?

Geet melts in his arms.... She literally forgets all her worries and rests peacefully on his chest as if she has been waiting for this only.....

Maan tightens his hold to sooth her pain.... Geet hugs him back tight as if to release all the pain......

Maan is happy that Geet is finally breaking her shields and letting her feelings out.....

Maneet get lost in the hug for a few minutes....

Geet is feeling light and is clinging to Maan like a kid clinging to his mother....

Maan rubs her back and assures her that she is not alone..... MSK is with her and this time he is not going anywhere....

Maan is convinced that Geet is now ready to listen to him finally....

Maan: ek baat bathaoon Geet?

Geet: hmm

She is literally obeying him like a child.....

Maan has got his Geet back.....

Maan: I'll tell you a truth, I know Dev is a very dear friend of yours, but you could never break that friendship line and move ahead, tum aur kitna bhi koshish jo karo, lekin tum usse aage kabhi nahi badh sakthi

Geet knows that Maan has read her very well as always......

Maan: tumme kya lagtha? Ye shadhi karke tum Dev ko kush kar rahi ho? Geet is speechless....

Maan continues as he brings her up front so that he could see her expressions.... Maan looks into her beautiful eyes.... Geet couldn't help but fall into his trap yet again....

Maan: par hummare baat bahut alag hai Geet, maantha hoon ye koi mamooli prem kahani nahi hai, shayad meine thodi jaldhi kar di, tumme tummare pyaar ka ehsaas hone ka time hi nahi diya meine

Geet listen to him with full attention.... She is happy as if she was waiting to hear this from Maan for years.....

Maan: lagtha hai meri dhoori se tumme tummare pyaar ka ehsaas ho hi gaya

Maan likes the sweet smile that spreads over her beautiful lips....

Maan: lekhin tumne toh shadhi ke pehle hi mere saath milkar saare haddein par kardhi, aur woh bhi kushi kushi bina koi dikkat ke, aur ab bhi tum issiliye gusse mein ho kyunki mein tumse dhoor ho gaya tha, haina Geet?

Geet is slowly coming to terms with the reality.... Maan is not lying....

Geet goes speechless.... ab Maan sare sachayi ko itna confidently ek se baat ek karke Geet ke samne rakh ke jaatha aur Geet usse mana hi nahi kar payi...... Maan has once again succeeded in casting his magic spell on her, haina?

Maan: Geet, tum itne chup kaise ho gayi?

Geet: haan

Maan: tum soch rahi hogi ke hummare mann ki batein issko kaise patha chal jaathe, haina Geet?

Geet looks at him with a little fear that what else has he got to say?

Maan gets closer and takes a deep look into her eyes....

Maan: aur abhi bhi karthi ho

Geet shakes her head trying to deny it.....

Geet bows down to avoid eye contact....

Maan lifts her chin and looks into her eyes.....

Maan: jo tummare aankhen mujhse kehne ki koshish kar rahe the uss baat ko tumne apne zuban se hi keh diya Geet uss din, tumme laga mein nashe mein tha aur tumne apne dil ki batein mujhe bathadi

Geet tries to recall what she might have said but couldn't remember much.... She broke down that day and was in such an emotional mess that she bursted out whatever she had been holding back inside her mind for years.....

Maan: uss din toh mere nashe se zyada tummra nasha tha, tummare pyaar ka nasha, jaise hi tumne bolne ki shuruwaat kiya mera sara nasha uthar hi gaya tha

Geet is shocked to hear that, so he was listening to whatever she said on that day!

Maan: mein bhi aaise hi shock hua tha Geet, tummari bathon ne meri aankhen khol di, aur mein tabhi samajh gaya tha ki tum mujhpe mere se bhi zyada barosa rakhthi thi, aur mein ne hi uss barose ko samajhne mein bahut badi galthi kardiya hai

Maan: I'm really sorry Geet, kash mein bhi tummare pyaar ka shak nahi kartha hotha? uss ke badh meine sare sachyi ka patha lagaya, mein Amristar gaya aur Lucky se sare batein suna

Geet now knows that Maan has given her number to Lucky.... so all this family reunion is initiated by Maan..... Geet understood that Maan brought them to Hoshiarpur so that Geet can meet her mother.... but she didn't know that Maan is behind everything.....

Maan: phir mujhe patha chala ki jab mein haar maanke hummare pyaar ko barbad karne mein lagaya hua tha tab tumne hummare pyaar ke nishani ko bachane ke liya apna jaan tak dene ke liya tayaar ho gayi thi

Geet thinks about those events as Maan narrates.....

Maan: tumme toh hummare pyaar pe kitna barosa tha Geet? aur uss din tumne ek hi sawaal ko bar bar mujhe pooch rahi thi, "aap kyun mujhe chodke gaye?", "meri kya galthi thi seva aapse pyaar karne ki?" yahi sawaal ne mujhe ye baat ko samjhaya ki tum ne mujhe kitna miss kiya hoga?

Maan: tabhi mujhe meri galthi ki ehsaas hua Geet

Maan looks into Geet's eyes.....

Geet tries not to fall prey to his savage eyes again....

Maan: aur patha hai ki meine kya kiya?

Geet's eyes ask him immediately, what he did?

Maan: ussi waqt meinne tumme apne bahoon mein liya

Maan takes Geet into his arms and makes her rest on him....

Maan: aur aaise hi tumme shanth karne ki koshish ki,

Geet melts in his arms.... that's just what is the best medicine for her wounds.....

Maan: tab jaake tum shanth hui aur aaise hi so gayi thi, mere bahoon ki dharmi mein, tab mujhe samajh mein aaya ye baat ki tum abhi bhi mujhe waise hi miss kar rahi ho

So Geet knows that Maan knows about her weakness, MSK ka pyaar....

Maan: lekhin Geet, ab toh mein wapas aagaya hoon tummare paas

Maan tightens his hold.........

Maan: tum cahthi thi ke mein hamesha tummare paas rahoon, haina?

Geet is in a trance....

Maan bends to reach her ears as he almost kisses her neck.....

He then whispers in her ears in his USP husky tone....

Maan: itna pàas teek hai Geet?, aur kitna paas aana chathi ho Geet?

Geet freezes....

Maan holds her shoulders and takes her to the bed....

He gently makes her sit on the bed while he sits beside her and takes her down along with him...

Geet closes her eyes and is ready to surrender......

Maan gently whispers......

Maan: Geet, tumme lagtha hai ki MSK ek hi galthi ko do do bar kar sakta? Kabhi nahi

Maan moves away from her ever so gently making her yearn more....

Maan: ab toh mein tummare paas aagaya hoon jaise tumne chaha, pehle bar toh meine hummare rishtey ko aage badaya, aur iss bar teri bari hai, tum chaho toh ab iss rishtey ko aage lekhe jaa sakthi ho, warna meine bhi akhele rehna seekh liya hai, the ball is in your court Geet, what are you going to do Geet? I know you can't resist MSK, tum jitna bhi koshish karo iss bar mera hi jeet hoga... Maan winks at her....

Maan ko patha hai ki Maan ke jaat mein hi Geet ke jaat bhi hai....

So saying Maan gets up and leaves the room leaving Geet to think alone...

Maan knows that sometimes acting pricey does the trick.....

Part- 102

Maan goes and checks on Aditi....

Aditi is sleeping happily, Maan goes and lies down beside her and he too falls asleep hugging his little princess....

Geet lies there feeling numb and all shocked by Maan's words....

Maan has very smartly brought Geet into the playing field and he has sneakily put the flags on her hands.... Now Geet has to start the game while Maan is playing the underdog role....

Geet can't accept defeat for she is up for the challenge but she is not used to initiating the game..... She'll not be pleading for it, she is Geet Handa...

She is already feeling guilty that she has acted too desperate this time.....

Geet knows that she has come to the point where there is no way to return, as if she wants to return?

But she would like Maan to take her along and help her cross the finish line, but this Maan is taking revenge for no mistake of hers, this is not fair, galthi toh Maan karega aur saza Geet ko dega?

This is not less than a punishment, haina?

Geet gathers the courage to go and look for Maan....

Geet toh isse aaj hi, abhi hi katam karna chahthi hai....

She thinks she can talk to Maan and convey her feelings easily....

She just goes to tell Maan that she is looking forward to everything...

Geet feels that it's not the right choice of words....

She should just open up more... Let's first start talking.... Everything will all fall to their respective places on their own... Haina?

Geet strolls and finally reaches her room....

Geet gets in and starts looking for Maan....

She finds him sleeping with Aditi.... Geet goes and sleeps on the other side....

Whatever it may be Geet is genuinely happy after so many years...

Next morning Geet over sleeps while Maan has taken care of Aditi letting Geet enjoy her regained happiness....

Geet wakes up and finds that Maan and Aditi are up already and she is the late Latif today....

But Geet doesn't feel guilty or worried for it's just the three of them and Geet knows Maan is there to take care of Aditi for that matter Maan is there for Geet too....

It feels so good to sleep peacefully knowing that there is someone behind your back to hold you when need be and you can be yourself without worrying about anything...

Geet thinks about last night and is smiling like a fool.... But the moment she realises how Maan has fooled her into that stupid challenge Geet starts thinking about her next move...

Hare babaji, subhe subhe mein kya soch rahi hoon?

Iss Maan ne toh mujhe pagal banake rakha hai aur kudh aaram se maza le rahe hai....

Pehle mein jaake iss baat ko abhi katam karthi hoon.....

Geet just heads out and finds Maan waiting for her all ready to jog...

He has even got Aditi ready....

Maan: good morning Geet, come on jaldhi change karke aao, u shouldn't miss your jogging, dekho Aditi bhi tummare liye wait kar rahi hai

Geet can't believe that Maan is acting as if nothing happened last night.....

Geet gets back to her room, hurriedly brushes and gets ready for her jog....

Geet jog karthe karthe Maan se baat kar legi....haina?

The happy family starts their morning jogging together.....

Maan looks so happy that he has finally become a family man....

Geet is thinking deeply searching for the right words to win the challenge against Maan....

Maan: Geet, itna kyun soch rahi ho? roz aaise hi thoda thoda mehnat karoge toh you will get back to your old shape soon

Maan pauses letting Geet move ahead of him so that he can take a good look of her....

Geet is puzzled like what he is up to next.....

Maan holds her waist from behind suddenly....

Geet is startled....

Maan: waise tum itna bhi moti nahi hui hai, but I am missing that patli kamar, you know what I mean, Maan slightly tightens his hold and whispers in her ears..."Janam samjha Karo"......

Maan just wants Geet to take care of her fitness, she has been neglecting it since 5 years and it has taken a toll on her body....

Maan wants her to start loving herself again....

Maan knows very well that Geet would rather want Maan to love her.....

Geet pareshaan ho jaathi ki ye kya nayi musibat hai.... Iss Maan ko Geet kaise sambalthi?....

Geet: Aditi, rukh jao

Geet pretends not to be affected and runs after Aditi pushing Maan away.....

Maan can feel her blushing even though he can't see her directly....

Maan just wants Geet to be happy.... Nothing else matters to him more...

At breakfast.....

Geet tries to talk to Maan....

Geet: aap kaun ho?

Maan: ye kaise sawaal hai Geet? Iss ka jawab toh tumme patha haina?

Geet: aap mujhe distract mat karo, warna mein bhool jaoongi ke mujhe kya kehna hai

Maan: tum kya kehna chahthi ho Geet? Tum toh mujhe confuse kar rahi ho

Geet: pehle mere sawal ka jawab do, aap kaun ho?

Maan: Mein?

Geet: nahi mein

Maan: tum Geet ho

Geet: Maaaaaaaan?

Maan: achcha mein Maan Singh Khurana hoon

Geet: isski koi kami nahi hai, jab dekho MSK MSK, koi apne hi naam ko aaise japtha hai kya?

Maan: achcha tum hi bathao ki mein kaun hoon phir?

Geet: aap Maan ho

Maan: ab Maan hoon, lagtha hai jaldh hi Maan se Mahaan ho jaoonga

Geet: abhi bhi aap samjhte hai ki aap Mahaan devtha ho

Maan: maantha hoon ki mein koi Bhishma pithama nahi ban saktha, lekhin Geet 5 saal ka brahmacharya bhi mahaan kaam hotha hai

Geet: aap aaise hi vishwamitra banke goomoge toh Bhishma bhi banjaoge

Maan: dekhte hai koi Mohini milthi bhi ya nahi?

Geet: achcha aapko Mohini chahiye?

Maan: chahne mein kya hai Geet?

Geet apne aap se baat karthi...."kya mein koi Mohini se kam hoon?"... She takes a look at herself....

Maan smiles looking at her so concerned.....

Maan says to himself.... "Waise tum bhi kissi Mohini se kam nahi lagti ho Geet"...

Geet: kya soch rahe ho?

Maan: mein apne Mohini ki barein mein soch raha tha

Geet thinks that Maan has someone in his mind.....

Geet: aane do uss Mohini ko, mein bhi dekhti hoon ki woh mujhse bachke aap se kaise milthi?

Maan: tum 24*7 mere saath nahi hogi Geet

Geet: toh kya?

Maan: toh kuch nahi Geet

Geet begins to think..... Iska kya matlab?

Geet: mere hothe hue aap ko koi Mohini nahi milne wali, samjhe aap?

Geet tries to warn Maan....

Maan: Geet, tum kya kehna chahthi ho? Mujhe toh kuch samajh mein nahi aaya

Geet: koi nasamajh ne ki natak karein toh log kya samjaye usse

Maan: mein natak kartha hoon? I can't even imagine that I could ever act like you, you have become a pro in acting Geet, even I got confused in the beginning

Geet: aap aaise mujhe confuse mat karo, babaji ab mein inhhe kaise samjaoon?

Geet starts thinking of another plan....

At Mumbai…

Gayathri is recovering fast…

Pari comes back from Pune and stays at the hotel…

Dev calls Pari…

Pari: hai Dev?

Dev: when did you come back?

Pari: I just came last night, thanks for the pass

Dev: you could have informed me

Dev sounds a bit disappointed…

Pari: ohh I wanted to be alone

Pari is still thinking about the past….

Dev can understand her… she needs to be with friends right now…

Dev: ok bye

Pari is staying in the room itself…

She didn’t even feel like eating lunch…

She is just lying on the bed idle not sure of what to do…

She hears the doorbell ringing… Pari opens the door and is surprised to see Dev standing there….

Dev: good noon Pari

Pari: Dev? What are you doing here?

Dev: I have got you the Mumbai special vada pav

Pari: how do you know that I haven’t eaten?

Dev: shall I answer that inside the room?

Pari is blocking the way…

She steps aside and let’s Dev in…

Dev: I know how it feels when you lose your love

Pari: oh hey, did you call Geet? What’s she doing in Delhi?

Dev: hmm, she is in Hoshiarpur

Pari: what?

Dev: it’s her hometown

Pari: did she go back to her home?

Dev: no, she has gone with Maan, they had gone to visit her Nani, they are stuck there

Pari: oh, just like me

They have the lunch together….

Pari: thanks Dev for the yummy treat

Dev: so what’s your plans?

Pari: nothing, wait for a pass back to Delhi

Dev: it’ll take a couple of days

Pari: I know

Dev: are you going to stay here until then?

Pari: I’m afraid I have to

Dev: not necessary

Pari: I don’t understand

Dev: pack your bags, we’ll go home

Pari goes to the khanna house with Dev….

Gayathri is surprised to see her but she is happy as long as Dev is happy….

Dev: mom, ye Geet ki friend hai

Dev: haan mom, par iss pandemic mein ye yahan phass gayi aur Geet Delhi mein

Gayathri: patha nahi ye kya ho gaya hai, mein toh aaise pehle bar dekh rahi hoon

Pari: aap ki tabiyat ab kaise hai aunty?

Gayathri: babaji ki kripa se mujhe kuch nahi hua, ek sardhi ko lekar Dev toh kamakaam pareshaan ho gaya

Pari: aaj kal log sardhi se hi bahut darthe haina

Gayathri: zamaana kaise badal gaya hai

Pari: haina?

Dev: mom, Pari will stay here for a couple of days

Gayathri: bahut achche beta

Gayathri keeps looking at Pari….

Pari is little nervous for she doesn’t know how Gayathri would welcome her staying in her home….

Gayathri: Pari beta, aap Geet ke room mein reh sakte hai

Dev: haan Pari

Dev takes her to Geet’s room…

Pari looks at the pictures of Dev with Aditi….

Pari: you must be missing them

Dev: I miss Aditi a lot

Pari: what about Geet?

Dev thinks for a while….

Dev: do you still miss Karan?

Pari: very much

Pari has got her answers too…

Dev: ok then, you take rest

Dev leaves….

Pari can understand Dev’s plight…

She wonders how Dev has been such a big support for Geet without any expectations…

Geet thinks of ways to seduce a man and gets a clue from movies....

Maan ke chakkar mein bechari Geet ko kya kya karna padta hai?...

Hot kapde, haina?.....

Geet is looking through her wardrobe as to what she should wear...

Geet comes across the dress that Maan got her the other day....

Geet thinks about what happened that day.....

Geet was arranging her dresses and Aditi's dresses seperately....

Maan has got her size so right but a couple of dresses he got for Aditi seem like a bit too big for her....

Geet takes those and thinks they are definitely not going to fit Aditi in the next couple of years too....

When Geet tries to put them along Aditi's dresses Maan who had just come stops her by holding her hand and taking it towards her cupboard...

Geet turns and looks at him strangely....

Maan just says... "This is for you Geet", without showing any expressions

Geet thinks he is trying to fool her...

Maan: those are strech tops Geet, they'll look good on you....

Geet: how do you know?

Maan: I can see you in these tops just by closing my eyes

Maan closes his eyes....

Maan: see, you look so sexy

Geet instantly looks herself in the mirror... She is looking normal only....

Maan: what? I can imagine you in which ever way I want, you can't stop my imaginations

Geet stares him.....

Maan keeps those tops along with her dresses....

Geet aaise chote chote kapde kabhi nahi pehenegi, aur abhi ye Geet ko fit bhi nahi honge....

Geet now gets an idea.... Shayad Maan'll get the clue when she wears one of the these.....

Geet looks at them to find which would fit her most.... Looking for the somewhat bigger one....

She chooses one denim shorts with pastel pink color top(that strech top) which is Maan's favourite color..

She thinks maybe she'll wear it that evening....

Geet wears it with much difficulty for its little tight for her....

She puts it on somehow and goes looking for Maan....

Maan is in his room....

Geet goes and knocks the door....

Maan: andar aao Geet

Maan ko patha hai ki yahan sirf ye donno hi hai, Geet ko knock karne ki koi zaroorat bhi nahi thi.....

Geet gets in and Maan is busy combing his hair.....

Maan looks at Geet's reflection on the mirror....

Maan can't take his eyes off her....

She looks so hot and happening...

Maan turns and moves towards her....

Geet is looking down not able to face him....

As Maan gets closer and closer Geet starts to hyper ventilate and she couldn't breathe properly for the top is too tight for her....

Maan: Geet, ye kya hai? Tumme abhi isse pehen ne ki kya zaroorat thi?

Maan tries to help her open her top buttons so that she could breathe easily....

Geet steps back and feels embarrassed for her foolishness....

Maan gets out of the room and locks the door...

Maan: Geet, get rid of them immediately, I'll get you another dress

Maman goes and gets her dress....

Maan comes back and knocks the door....

Maan is facing the other side and expects Geet to open a little so that he could give her the clothes....

But Geet opens it wide enough for him to get in....

Maan is surprised and finds out that Geet has changed into his t-shirt then....

Geet tries to get her dress when Maan is not ready to give it to her...

Geet thinks that Maan would demand her to give back his t-shirt and starts staring him already....

Geet: give it to me Maan, ye kaise mazaak hai?

Maan just catches hold of her and takes her to the mirror....

Geet looks into the mirror and Maan's t-shirt looks good on her...

Maan: why do you have to change Geet? You look great in my tee

Geet: hmm

Maan: I know you would like to wear those tops, that's why I got them for you, but Geet you have to loose a kilo or two for that, I think you can start taking evening walks too

Geet turns back and looks at him angrily....

Maan: don't worry Geet, I'll give you company

Geet is just scared of his company know.....

Maan: waise ab mere t-shirt hi tumme fit karthe hai, you can wear them if you wish

Geet takes a second look at herself in the mirror.....

Maan: but it doesn't mean that you can stay like this itself, I will love to see you in that top soon, I don't mind seeing you anyways

Maan keeps staring her as if he could see through her clothes....

Geet is again angry.... She is only faking it and Maan too knows that she enjoys his teasing as much as himself

Maan: I mean in any clothes or would it matter if you are even wearing something or not, not for me

Maan winks.....

Geet pushes him and goes out of his sight immediately....

Geet badly wants his warm hands to grab and hold her.....

What does he want her to do? Go and cling on to him 24*7.....

That's not going to happen, not even in his dreams....

Though Maan might be teasing her, he is maintaining a decent distance from her which is troubling her more and more.....

Ye Maan apne aapko kya samjhthe.... Yahan mein soch soch ke pagal ho rahi hoon aur woh toh aaise behave karthe jaise woh mujhe pehle bar dekh rahe hai aur mein unko galat samjhoongi agar woh mere paas aaye toh, mein kyun naraaz ho jaathi? Mein toh kab se taras rahi hoon aur inko toh mujhe aaise tadpakke aakhir kya miltha?

Geet is getting restless....

She keeps thinking of how to get out of this strange problem?

Aaise kissi ke saath bhi nahi hua hoga? Mein pehli ladhki hoon jisse ye sab karna padtha.....haina? Warna hamesha ladhke hi ladhkiyon ke peeche padthe hai....

Yahan toh sab kuch ulta hi ho raha hai.... Itne din ke baat milthe hai aur ek ladhki isse zyada kaise ghir sakthi? Taubha mein bhi kitni besharam ho gayi hoon....

Ab mein kaise uss chalaak Maan ko samjhaoon ....

Toh ye plan bhi flop ho gaya hai Geet....

Next day.... A new day and a new plan....

Geet is thinking about how to beat Maan....

She thinks of another idea while she is in her shower....

Kehthe haina ki achche se achche ideas shower mein hi milthe hai....

Geet grabs the towel and wraps it around....

Geet gets out of the washroom, quickly goes and opens the bedroom door and peeps out to find where Maan is....

Maan is nearby only playing with Aditi....

Geet them keeps the door wide open, gets back to her showers and keeps the washroom door also unlocked....

She then screams at the top of her voice.....

Geet: Maaaaaaaan

Maan comes running fearing that Geet might have slipped and hurt herself....

But Geet is enjoying her shower and as soon as Maan enters the washroom she goes and hugs him tight....

Maan is taken aback for a second but manages to remain cool and composed....

Maan: what's wrong Geet?

Geet: woh wahan ek cockroach hai

Maan knows her plans....

Maan: kahan Geet?

Maan too hugs her back and moves towards the shower so that he is also completely wet.....

It's hard for him to resist his urge but he is MSK....

Geet toh bigal jaathi.....

Maan holds her in his embrace for a few seconds and let's her enjoy the trailer.... Just the trailer....

Maan: ye cockroach nahi hai Geet

Maan has taken the investigation too seriously....

Geet: haan

Geet knows it already.....

Maan looks at her as if he is too innocent....

Geet: Maan, I am too scared of the roaches you know

Geet is waiting for his next move eagerly.....

Isse aage Geet kuch nahi kar sakti... Self respect naam ka bhi koi cheez hoti haina?

Maan: maybe the cockroach left seeing you scream

Geet: aapko abhi bhi sirf cockroach ki padhi hai

Maan smiles....

Maan: meine aaise kya kardhiya Geet?

Geet: sach mein Maan, ek bechari ladhki ko aaise tang karthe hue aapko sharam nahi aati?

Maan blinks as I'd he doesn't know anything about what Geet is saying....

Geet: aap bhool gaye ho ki mein ek ladhki hoon aur sharam naam ki koi cheez bhi hothi hai, aap besharam ho gaye ho jo mujhse aaise kaam karwa rahe ho

Maan: Geet, ye toh naainsaafi hai, mein yahan tummare madat karne aaya hoon aur tum kudh mujhe yahan bhulakke mere upar aaise jootha ilzaam lagathe ho, tum besharam ho

Maan scans her from top to bottom there by tickling her senses....

Geet splashes the water on him to try get his eyes off her....

Maan holds her hand and stops her...

Geet freezes.....

Maan wipes the water droplets off her lips and inches towards her....

Geet keeps staring him completely lost by his touch....

Maan gently pushed her aside to reach the tap....

Maan: Geet, I think the water is too hot, you may need a cold shower now

Maan turns off the hot water knob and leaves Geet disappointed....

Geet stands there under the water for it looks like she has to be content with this as of now.....

That night Maan is playing Aditi sitting on the bed when Geet comes after finishing her work in the kitchen....

Geet stands there for a while without disturbing them.....

It's a beautiful sight watching Maan becomes a kid when he is with Aditi....

Many a times Aditi dominates Maan so much that it's hard to tell who the parent is and whi the child is ...

Geet is very happy to see this Avatar of Maan.... She can't imagine how Maan would have pampered Aditi had he been there from her birth...

Geet just can't get over the fact that babaji has not only played with the lives of Maneet but also poor Aditi too...

Geet is happy that the family is reunited and that Maan is here to stay with them forever....

Maan is in good mood when he is with Aditi... This is the right time to try the next plan....

Geet goes and sits near Aditi, opposite to Maan....

Maan pretends as of he has not noticed her....

Geet gets annoyed by that..... She lifts Aditi and puts Aditi on her lap....

Ab toh Maan ko dekhna hi padega...

Geet: Aditi aap kya khel rahe ho? Mama bhi aapke saath khel sakthi na?

Aditi: haan mama, Aditi gives a doll to Geet....

Geet: Aditi aap akhele khelke bore ho rahe haina?

Aditi doesn't understand much....

Samajhne wala samajh jaatha toh teek hai....

Geet continues.....

Geet: aap nahi chathe ke aap ke saath khelne ke liye koi ho, bill aap ke jaisa ek chotu sa baby

Maan knows that Geet is indirectly conversing with him only.... Ab ye baat aage kahan jayega, ye toh Maan ko bhi patha hai, kitna purana idea hai, Geet kuch naye sochthi toh aur maza aatha....

Geet: aap ko boy baby chahiye ya girl baby?

Aditi: boy baby

Geet: kyun? Aap ko girl baby pasand nahi hai kya?

Aditi: mein girl baby hoon, boy baby nahi haina

Maan thinks that even Aditi is smarter than Geet.... Achcha hua Aditi got Geet's looks and Maan's brains.....

Geet: Aditi ko boy baby chahiye, suna aapne Maan?

Maan gets up and leaves all of a sudden....

Geet is worried that Màan got angry for no reason....

She was just trying to tell him that she is happy to be a part of Maan's life again....

What's wrong in that?

Geet puts Aditi to sleep and goes to see Maan in his room....

The door is open and Màan is sitting on the bed showing his back to Geet...

Geet gets near him....

Geet: Maan, kya hua? Aap teek toh haina?

Maan turns around and hugs Geet who is standing beside the bed in front of Maan....

Geet is confused but she realises that Maan has become a puddle of emotions....

Geet places her hands around his neck and gently runs her fingers through his hair to comfort him....

Maan is almost in tears.....

Geet has never seen Maan getting so senti...

She doesn't know what hurt him so much....

She was just playing along as they were just fooling around for fun....

Geet pulls his head closer and Maan too rest his head on her tummy and holds her tight....

Geet places her head over Maan's head still running her fingers into his hair slowly.....

Maan: I love you Geet

Geet: I love you too Maan

Maan: I missed you so much Geet

Geet: I know Maan, meine bhi aapko bahut miss kiya tha

Maan: I promise you that I would never leave you alone Geet

Geet: I won't let you go, aaisa kabhi sochna bhi mat

Maan kisses her navel and brings her down to the bed as he lies down on his back, Geet looses her balance and falls over him.....

Maan is holding her tight as her rolls her over to the other side and starts kissing her everywhere....

Geet doesn't fall behind and she picks up from there as she too jumps into action.....

Maneet are back together and are ready to take the rest of the journey in each other's company....

Geet has a victorious some int the end....

Maan: aaj mein bahut kush hoon Geet

Geet: mein bhi

Maan: do you know why I'm so happy Geet?

Geet: kyunki hum phir se saath hai, issiliye

Maan: woh bhi hai, par meri kushi ki wajha kuch aur hai

Maan: what?

Geet: mujhe laga mere bathon se aap naraaz ho gaye ho, aur issiliye wahan se chale gaye

Maan laughs..... : You always misunderstand me Geet

Geet: Toh aaise achanak kyun chale gaye the?

Maan: I was so happy that I wanted to just hug you and kiss you and I don't know what else I would have done, Aditi was there and so my hands were tied, I thought it's better to leave for I couldn't have controlled myself

Geet: so my talks about another child worked pretty well, issiliye aap ko bhi mood aagaya?

Maan: ye baat toh nanis aur dadis karthe hai

Geet: aap kush toh hue na?

Maan: tumne laga tummare iss stupid baat se mein itna kush ho gaya tha?

Geet: phir ye sab kaise hua?

Maan: tumne Aditi se kya kaha tha?

Geet: wahi stupid baat, haina?

Maan: uske badh tumne kuch kaha Geet

Geet: uske badh aap chale gaye the

Maan: tumne Aditi se kaha...."Agar aap ko baby boy chahiye toh aap apne papa se kaho ki apne mama se pyaar se rahe, tabhi toh baby milega aapko"

Geet: haan, meine socha isse aap mere mann ki baat ko samajh jaoge

Maan: tumne pehle bar Aditi se mujhe papa kehke adress kiya tha Geet, tumne mujhe Aditi ka papa maanliya Geet, bas mein yahi sunne ke liye taras raha tha, ab isse zyada kushi mere liye kya ho sakthi?

Geet realises how Maan has been waiting patiently to get his rights as a father without getting angry with Geet for all the restrictions she imposed on him.....

She knows how badly he would have wanted to own his daughter....

Geet: mujhe maaf karoge na?

Maan hugs her and kisses her....

Maan: I love you Geet

Geet is so happy.... She hugs him back tight as if she wants to keep him for herself in that hug forever

Maan: you know what Geet? I did enjoy your nautanki so much, I thought I'll enjoy for a couple of more days, I really wanted to know what else you could do

Geet: aap bahut badmaash ho gaye ho

Maan: Geet, mein chahtha tha ki iss bar hummare rishtey ka status tum decide karo, I was just waiting for you to give the green signal, bas ek aankhon ka isare se hi ye kaam ho saktha tha, par tum ne tob mere baat ko galat samajh liya tha, ek bar meine tummare baat ko galat samajh liya tha aur ek bar tumne, we are even now, you can't keep blaming me anymore

Geet: what?

Maan: waise tumne bahut achche se koshish kiya tha, I loved all the drama, you nearly caught me in the washroom, you should have tried without the towel, shayad kuch hotha

Geet hits Maan.... Agle bar aap karo, without towel chahiye aapko?

At Mumbai….

The next day morning…..

Pari goes down and finds Gayathri sitting and enjoying her morning tea…

Pari: good morning aunty

Gay: morning beta, kal raat teek se soye haina?

Pari: ji aunty, I feel like I’m at home

Gay: aap Geet ki friend ho toh ye aap ke ghar hi hai

Pari: that’s so sweet of you aunty

Gay: ye lo beta, chai piyo

Pari takes a cup….

Gay: patha nahi Geet kab aayenge aur ye sab teek kab hoga

Pari: aap chinta mat karo, ye toh jaldh hi katam ho jayega

Gay: aap hi Geet ko samjao, hum toh unko samjha samjha ke tak chuke hai

Pari doesn’t have any clue about what Gayathri is saying….

Pari: woh aunty, mein kuch samjhi nahi

Gay: ye aapki friend Geet patha nahi kab sadhi karke humme retirement denge

Pari: shadhi?

Pari is pretty doubtful if Gayathri knows anything at all about Geet and Dev.... Poor her…

Gay: hare bagwan, aajkal ke bache shadhi ke batein mein sochte hi nahi

Pari: par abhi kya jaldhi hai?

Gay: bahut intezaar kiya humne bhi, ab aur nahi, ab toh pata nahi hummare paas aur kitne din baki hai

Gay: humme toh kuch samajh mein nahi aatha, aur aap shadhi kab kar rahe hai?

Pari is taken aback... even her parents haven’t asked her about it….

Gay: Aajkal ke bache shadhi se itna kyun darthe hai?

Pari goes speechless….

Gay: lagtha hai aap ko koi achcha ladkha nahi mila abhi tak

Pari: woh, milla tha, par abhi nahi hai

Gay: woh bhi aapko chodke chala gaya hai kya?

Pari: nahi, iss duniya se chala gaya

Gay goes and hugs Pari….

Gay: bagwan aapko hamesha kush rakhe

Pari feels the warmth in her hug and is overwhelmed with emotion…

Pari: Geet sahi kehthi thi, aap bahut achche ho

Gay: aap kabhi apne aapko akhele mat samajhna, hum sab hai aap ke saath, aap dekhna, babaji jaldh hi aapko ek achcha saathi se milayenge

Just then Dev comes…

Gay: aap bhi hummari Geet ki tarah hi hai, aap ko kuch bhi chahiye toh humme bathana

Pari: thanks auntyji

Gayathri leaves for her pooja….

Dev: good morning

Pari: good morning Dev

Dev: subhe subhe maa ne tumme bore toh nahi kiya?

Pari: not at all, in fact I feel very relieved after talking with her

Dev: that’s good

Pari: she is such a sweet lady

Dev smiles…: that she is

Dev is surprised that Pari got along well with Gayathri….

Dev looks at Pari not able to believe how she is not bothered by Gayathri’s winning…

Dev: it’s pretty tough to understand women’s psychology

Pari: don’t even try, b’coz you people are far far behind when it comes to emotional quotient

Dev: I don’t think I did anything extraordinary

Pari: I have learnt a lot from you, you made me realize something huge, I now understand that Karan is not there however I wish otherwise

Dev: no exactly, I don’t know much about it, I heard he left her and Aditi

Pari: that’s too bad, Geet is so lucky that you are there for her always

Dev: but that’s not everything

Dev: I have realised that my love could never replace Geet’s past love, never ever

Pari: why did you decide to marry Geet?

Dev is stunned… he stares at Pari for a while…..

Dev: why would you ask something like that?

Pari: you only said that Geet is yet to forget her past

Though Pari doesn’t know about Geet’s hidden feelings for her first love, she knows the very obvious fact that she has no romantic interest in Dev for sure….

Pari has seen that Geet was totally transformed when she came to Delhi…

She was always restless and looked emotionally very vulnerable and weak, which is not what Geet used to be at Mumbai… the mentally strong and resilient Geet that Pari had known went missing…

Dev let’s the two ladies continue their chitchat and leaves….

At Hoshiarpur….

Geet wakes up to find out that Maan has woken up before her….

She smiles thinking about the last night encounter… she automatically blushes…

She then remembers that she has left Aditi to sleep alone in the next room…

Last night the two of them were talking for so long…

Geet rested her head on Maan’s arm and kept looking at the happiness in his face often, as he kept talking endlessly about Aditi...

Geet realized Maan would not have stayed away from Aditi for even a single day, had he known about her birth…

Maan wrapped his arms around her and kept her close to himself as if he would lose her again….

Geet doesn’t even know when she fell asleep…

Geet quickly runs to check on Aditi but she is not in the room…

Geet then understands that she is with her papa….

She goes out and find them chatting and laughing as they jog in the garden….

Geet sits relaxed in the veranda and happily watches the father-daughter jodi enjoying each other’s company….

Geet wishes that she gets to wake up to witness such a beautiful morning everyday…..

Maan notices Geet in a while and asks her to come and join them….

Geet asks Maan to continue their jog while she will get the morning tea ready…

Geet doesn’t want to ruin Maan’s lovely time with his daughter….

Maan has newly become Aditi’s rightful father and that is clearly reflecting in his face….

The happiness of proudly owning his daughter is written all over his face…

Later, Geet takes Aditi to give her a bath…

Maan who comes in search of Aditi finds her in the washroom with Geet…

Maan goes to help Geet…

Geet is sitting on the stool while Aditi is standing in front of her…

Geet is holding her hands and applying soap….

Maan starts to apply soap on Geet’s hands instead…

Maan: mein tummara madat kar raha hoon Geet

Geet can’t pull her hands back for she is holding Aditi…

Geet: aap jao, aap ki madat ho koi zaroorat nahi

Maan: Aditi, Geet mujhe baga rahi hai, aap bathao, kya mein aapki madat karoon ya nahi?

Aditi: haan aap hi karo, Geet hamesha mere aankh mein soap dalthi hai, par app nahi dalthe

Geet is shocked for Maan has not applied soap on Aditi’s face na…

Maan has taught Aditi to call Geet by her name…

Geet: chalo pani fall, jaldhi

Maan pours water on Geet’s hand…

Geet: Maaaan

Maan is having a good time….

Geet snatches the mug from Maan and asks him to go and wait outside…

Maan leaves reluctantly…

Geet brings Aditi and she is drying her hair covering her head with the towel…

Aditi is crying and not letting Geet touch her head….

Geet: Maan, kya dekh rahe ho? ab issko sambhal lo na

Geet asks for trouble on her own…

Maan goes and hugs Geet from behind…

Geet freezes…

Maan: mein kartha hoon na Geet, Aditi toh bahut achchi bachi hai, tum pyaar se karo toh woh nahi royegi

He gets the towel from Geet and starts to dry Aditi’s hair…

Aditi slowly stops crying… Geet is astonished….

Geet doesn’t what is doing in the middle…

Geet turns around and tries to get out of Maan’s arms…

Maan wouldn’t let her go…

Maan moves forward to lessen the gap between them so that Geet is trapped ….

Geet hugs him tight and kisses his chest…

Maan forgets himself for a second when Geet cleverly escapes…

Dev knows for quite some time that Geet can never be able to be a part of his future as someone more than a friend, yet he has been very supportive of her, he too wants to stands by their true friendship….

He was happy to be a friend and not any further…

But now after knowing that Geet’s past is still her present, he has decided that it’s better to move on rather than keep having false hopes….

He has already started speculating about Geet’s big secret….

Actually Dev knows more about Geet’s past and also the present than what Geet thinks that Dev might know….

Who else would understand a person in love better than our very own Romeo, Mr.Dev Khanna?

Geet might not have got the clues from Maan but Dev has not missed to notice Maan’s desperation whenever Geet was with Dev…

Though Maan tried to be a gentleman by genuinely showing his happiness for Dev, he miserably failed to hide his resentment about Geet getting married to another person even if it is her bestie Dev….

Dev got the confirmation that yes, it is Maan who is Geet’s past at the Delhi wedding….

The whole day Dev keeps thinking about whatever happened at Delhi…

Geet became uncomfortable around Maan suddenly in Delhi…

She tried to distance herself from Maan while Maan who has been maintaining his distance from her seemed to be more concerned and easily available…. His attention was fully on Geet as he took care of each and every need of Geet and Aditi…

Dev ignored the special attention of Maan as part of his hospitality though…

Then everything became clear on that night after the wedding..

They were too tired and Dev went to bed early…

Dev got up to answer his natural calls and found that Maan has not yet returned…

He heard some noise downstairs and went out to check what’s happening…

He saw Maan talking to Geet in an inebriated state and Geet shouting at him…

Dev came down with the misunderstanding that Maan is troubling Geet but was shocked to see Geet taking Maan inside the bedroom by holding him trying to stop him from falling down….

She looked worried while Maan looked totally besotted…

Dev was bewildered to see Geet holding Maan so close without any reservations…

Then itself he knew that they are not strangers… he then kept watching Geet take him in and not return for a long time..

Dev doesn’t even know how long he stood there waiting for Geet before he went back dejected….

The first reaction of him was anger, he was angry that Geet readily forgave that man got her impregnated and ran away like a coward leaving her alone in that condition….

Next morning he wanted to take Geet back to Mumbai …

But then he had to leave alone….

He can’t believe that Geet went and stayed with Maan at Hoshiarpur…

He slowly understood what was happening and is happy for Geet…

It’s easy to fall in love with someone, but your love is complete only when the other person loves you back or is at least ready to accept your love… Both never happened in Dev’s case….

Dev desperately needs to experience the feeling of being loved by someone…

No one better than Dev knows the fact that Loving someone is not the same as being loved by someone…

Dev gets that feeling when he is with Pari, she understands him better and is interested in healing his wounded heart…

She knows his feelings for she has similar experience…

At Hoshiarpur….

Geet makes atte ka halwa to celebrate their reunion…

Maan comes to the kichen drawn by the sweet smell of the ghee laden halwa…

Maan: Geet what’s cooking?

Geet: aate ka halwa

Maan: iski kya zaroorat hai Geet

Maan is worried about the calories…

Geet: itna achche pal ko meetai ke saath celebrate karna haina, takki aane wale har pal aaise hi meetha ho jaye

Maan: jab tum dono mere zindagi mein ho toh mujhe koi aur meethai ki kya zaroorat hai Geet?

Geet: batein karna toh koi aap se seekhe Mr.Romeo

Maan: achcha mujhe khilao, tumne itne pyaar se banaya toh mujhe chak ke toh dekhna hi padega

Geet: chak na hai kya? Ye pura ka pura halwa aap ke liye hi hai, jaldhi taste karke bathao kaise bani hai

Geet serves the pipping hot halwa to Maan…

Maan keeps watching it…

Geet: kaisa hai Maan?

Maan: dikhne mein toh halwa hi lagtha hai Geet

Geet: aap kaye kyun nahi?

Maan: ye bahut garam hai Geet, tummare jaise, jab tak ye tanda nahi hotha aao mein tumme tanda kartha hoon

Maan pulls her into a hug and kisses her…

Geet enjoys all his love and passion… she has missed so much in these few years…

Geet: Maan halwa zyada tanda hoga toh achcha nahi lagega

Maan: halwa ho ya pyaar, dono ko garma garam sweekar karne ka maza hi kuch aur hai Geet

Maan scoops her up and tries his luck for a noon shot…

Geet: Maan, mujhe neeche utharo, abhi

Looks like Maan has to be content with the halwa for the time being…

Maan takes a spoonful and tastes it….

It’s really good…

Geet keeps watching him anxiously as this is the first time she has made something specially for Maan after their reunion…

Maan likes it very much…

Geet is so happy that Maan liked it…

Maan goes for a second serving….

Maan is also in a very good mood and so the halwa tastes even better for him…

That afternoon Geet is trying to put Aditi to sleep…

Geet is lying beside Aditi and patting her back to make her sleep…

Maan comes..

Geet warns him with her big big eyes and asks him to leave…

Maan has not come to leave so easily…

Maan tries to crawl and make room for himself between Geet and Aditi…

Geet moves to give him room…

Maan comfortably lies beside his daughter…

Geet: Maan, Aditi ko sone do, aap yahan kya kar rahe ho?

Maan looks at Aditi who is half asleep…

Maan: Aditi ko neendh nahi aarahi, haina Aditi

Aditi opens her eyes wide..

Aditi doesn’t like anyone coming in between her and her mother when the two go to sleep…

Maan has placed his hand on Geet….

She looks at Maan little angrily…

Aditi: ye meri maa hai

Maan: ye meri Geet hai

Aditi: nahi ye meri maa hai

Maan: nahi meri Geet

Aditi raises her voice…: meri maa

She is about to cry…

Geet tries to get up and go to the other side…

Maan stops her… he pulls her back to place…

Maan: teek hai, ye tummari maa hi hai, aur tum meri Aditi ho, haina Geet?

Geet: haan Maan, aapki Aditi

Aditi blinks…

Maan: aur mein kaun hoon?

Now Geet doesn’t know what to say….

Aditi calls Dev as “Dev papa”…

Maan: aapka papa, haina?

Aditi: Dev papa hai ghar mein

Geet feels bad for Maan and regrets her mistake again…

Maan: Dev papa hai, par ye Aditi ke papa hai

Aditi: Aditi papa

Maan hugs and kisses her in joy…

Maan: haan, mein Aditi papa hoon, ek bar aur bolna sweetheart

Aditi: Aditi papa

Aditi smiles at Maan seeing him smile from ear to ear..

Maan kisses her again…

Maan can’t control his emotions, his are welled up…

Geet: papa bolna beta

Maan: let her call me however she likes, I’m so happy Geet….

Maan hugs the two of them and it’s family hug time…

Geet is the happiest mom on earth at the moment…. The moment she has been craving for all these years is here… her daughter has got her family finally…

Maan lifts Aditi and places her on top of himself….

Aditi sleeps lying on Maan’s chest…

Maan slowly shifts her to the bed and keeps watching her sleeping happily…

Geet too has slept holding his hand…

Maan doesn’t want anything more in his life… he just wants this to continue forever…

Next day…

Pari is strolling in the garden…

Dev goes to meet her…

Dev: good morning

Pari is happy to see him….

She was feeling bored…

Pari: good morning Dev

Dev: what are you doing here alone? Where is mom?

Pari: she is in her pooja

Dev: oh

Pari: I’m sorry that I crossed my limits yesterday, bhura toh nahi laga na?

Dev: bilkul bhi nahi, actually I needed to talk to someone

Pari: I’m always here

Dev: I know

Pari: so what now?

Dev: Geet called last evening

Pari: that’s great, what did she say? When is she coming?

Dev: she may not be coming back

Pari: what?

Dev: I mean she is ready to go back to her family

Pari: to her maikka?

Dev: nahi, her very own family

Pari: I don’t understand

Dev tells what Geet told him on phone…

Geet calls….

Dev: halo Geet, how are you?

Geet: good, how is maaji?

Geet’s voice is broken… she is little worried…

Dev: she is fine, what’s Aditi doing?

Geet: she is riding her cycle

Dev: that’s good, she got her own cycle?

Geet: Maan got her

Dev: hmm

Geet: I want to tell you something

Dev: bolo Geet, what’s it?

Geet: I want to tell this to you first

Dev: what is it Geet? You are scaring me now

Geet: I’m sorry Dev

Dev: for what?

Geet: for all the trouble

Dev: what trouble?

Geet: I can’t forgive myself for putting you in so much trouble, I know I made a blunder, I lost my mind in anger, will you ever forgive me?

Dev: would you please stop being guilty? Just tell me what happened

Geet: I don’t know how to tell you this

Dev: you need not worry about anything Geet, I just want you to stop blaming yourself for whatever happened

Geet: it’s not that Dev

Dev: then what is it?

Geet: I have hidden something from you for the past few months

Dev: hmm

Geet gathers all the courage and finally tells Dev…

Geet: Maan is my past

Dev: hmm

Geet: he is Aditi’s father, I should have to told you then itself

Dev: maybe?

Geet: I didn’t because I didn’t want to trouble you more and more, I thought I can handle it on my own, I thought it was just a matter of a few days, then it will all be over forever and I’ll finally get closure

Dev was expecting all this and so it is not a shocker to him like Geet fears….

Geet: I shouldn’t have done that, I’m really sorry Dev, I had no right to get you involved in my problems, but I really believed that you are the only solution for all my problems, I never thought about anything else, I honestly believed that there was no other option whatsoever, I had shut all those options long back

Geet is sobing…

Dev: I know you Geet, you are always right, you know what is right and what is not

Geet: I made a grave mistake this time, I shouldn’t have lied to you

Dev: what lie?

Geet: I told you I was ready for marriage when I was not

Dev doesn’t have any more emotions left within for he has overcome all that in these few days….

Dev: can I tell you a secret?

Geet: what?

Dev: I kind of knew that

Geet: how?

Dev: b’coz you never changed, you remained the same when I met you four years back, then how could you move on?

Geet: scared of the return of Maan I made a huge blunder and this time I hurt you bad, I know you can never forgive me for that

Dev: it happens Geet, sometimes we fail to see the reality and make mistakes

Geet: but I had no rights to play with your feelings after all that you and maaji have done for me, I really feel ashamed of myself

Dev: you must understand one thing clearly Geet, love is different from gratitude, and moreover there is no place for gratitude in friendship, haina?

Geet: but still

Dev: no ifs and nuts, I just want to your special friend, no one can take that place from me, not even Maan

Dev laughs trying to cheer Geet….

Geet: I thought the doors are closed between me and Maan forever, but I had no idea that he still had the keys

Dev: I don’t know about the past Geet, but from whatever I have seen now I am pretty confident that Maan deserves to be with his family

Geet: I think so too

Dev: I’m really happy for you Geet

Geet: so will you forgive me one last time?

Dev: don’t ever talk to me like that again, when are you coming back?

Geet: I don’t know

Dev: I forgot to tell you something

Geet: what?

Dev: Pari is here only

Geet: oh she returned from Pune?

Dev: yes

Geet: that’s good, I’ll talk to her

Dev: ok Geet, take care, mein Aditi se kal baat kartha hoon, let her play with Maan

Geet: ok Dev, bye

Pari is overwhelmed to hear that… she wonders how Dev could so easily forget and forgive….

She looks at Dev in disbelief, Dev is really the perfect gentleman that every girl would have as a friend, companion or the lucky one would wish to have him for her alone… just like Pari has started wishing for….
