The way you have described Virat's nature, his silence, his nature, his yearning for Sai is beautiful.
Everytime Sai showers her love on Aai or Devi, he has loved the bonding they share, loved her for how she can love others so much selflessly and had also started to yearn to be loved the same way, for her to take his name the way she took his mom's name from the stage with so much of love and affection, to hold him affectionately and shower him with love, to bear his tantrums the way she used to love Devi, to tease and play with him just like how she would engage in fun conversations with Shivani bua.
You have captured these and have given beautiful words to his emotions ❤️.
He has never learned to voice his needs... that was very clear from the initial episodes in the pre-GC days.
At work, he is a lion, but at home, he is the ever-adjusting peacekeeper.
Even with Sai, he yearns, but never asks,... his wait to get her to realize his love, his need, his commitment, is painful to watch, honestly.
What you wrote about Sai was very beautiful and it made me get emotional. It is not because she lost her Aaba but you have beautifully captured her emotions behind her anger. The fire in her is not something that one can understand easily due to her nature.
Sai spoke through me, when I wrote this.
She is a motherless child, and not very capable of expressing herself. She can voice her protests, but not her emotional needs...
The below lines spoke volumes
"She tried to call him.
But he wasn't Aaba.
He couldn't see what she was saying with her accusing eyes. "
Mind-blowing I must say. And the accusing eyes itself had so many emotions, longing to be held by the same man whom she had accused. She wanted him to stay back in GC even after she pushed him away and even called him when he was about to leave her room after writing down his phone number on a notebook.
She did... she didn't know why, but she wanted him to stay, even when she couldn't bear to look at him.
His leaving broke her. Might be because he was the final connection she had with her Aaba... might be because they shared those final moments together... might be because she saw that after her, Virat was the one who felt her Aaba's loss the most.
"Come what may, he would give her the absolute truth
Wow, yes he shared about his waada, his commitment to her.
He won her trust with his ability to give her the truth. She would never have given him the respect she has for him otherwise.
And what a beautiful line "He had seen the heartbreak behind her anger"
That scene was one of the best scenes from the show. The glance that he gave to her as if saying, I know who you are as a person and would never try to change you. It wasn't just the name, it was his acknowledgement to her individuality, her personality, she was Sai for him always, the girl whom he met at GC not whom his family wants to be in CN. Her surprised and happy look that thanked him, appreciated him for his understanding was so beautiful.
That was the day the Sherni awoke.
She knew that he would let her be, and not expect her to change just to fit in.
She trusted him as a man of his word, but since then, she trusted him to let her be.
"She wished that she could show him that he had become her world"
Definitely, she wanted to show him that but couldn't, held herself back always and that pressure, helplessness came out as anger many times.
And he wanted the same from her since the start but couldn't. He too held himself back thinking he didn't mean anything to her. I am taken back to the day when he stayed silent on the day, the very first time she had confronted him about him and Pakhi. The way he stood looking at her with tears in his eyes, words refusing to come out of his mouth. The lump in his throat, it was a beautiful scene. Many including me have said that he lost a chance and could have clarified but to be honest, I can totally understand how he would have felt. How overwhelmed he was to even speak. Words get stuck in my throat too and I know that feeling very well.
That scene is too painful for me to watch. His helplessness, him knowing that she was throwing his truth back at him, but that the truth had started changing, and he couldn't put it to words.
And just wow.
"She saw his yearning but she had given him her word that she would uphold his.
She wouldn't let him falter."
She is his wife. His izzat is important to her. She won't let him lose face, ever.
Until Virat says his word doesn't hold true, and that the meaning has changed, she would never utter a word.
Beautifully worded. The words in both the write ups were so deep, had all the hidden emotions in them. Loved them ❤👏.
