If he goes after her, what will be the excuse he'll be giving? Dadai? Nope. Parboti aunty? Maybe! This woman wasn't even informed about her daughter's divorce, let alone remarriage.

Sid needs to do some introspection and this Tess' 'keep Mit away from Sid' plan is surely working. I mean a guy rethinking his life decisions after "his wife" says yes to the divorce is rarely seen, isn't it?

Let him go through the same amount of pain, torture and emotional turmoil Mithai went through. He simply deserves that.

Btw what was the conversation between SreeTul in today's episode all about? Couldn't hear a single word.

@bold: Basically Ratul is sorry for the way he behaved with everyone and he wants to continue the drama of being a happily-married-couple with Sree (the plan which Sree had initially proposed). He doesn't want Sree to think about getting him married to Nipa because apparently "oi mey ta or bhagge nei". He thinks he can live alone for the rest of his life and that his divorce with Sree, in future, should seem natural to everyone else. Also, he's applied to his old job in the US and will soon be leaving, alone.

As for those couples who initially put up a pretence of being in love, we all know how that ends.😛 But not sure how this will end up if Ratul leaves😕

Loved the "Aami toh Aami" dialogue of Sid's and also loved how he, with the entire family, was standing outside Sree and Ratul's room to see what happens. Oh my, that's a long way to have come, from saying "I dont care about family" all the time.

Also, what's up with Sree's emotions? She was speaking so normally right until Ratul arrived. After that it became that whole "I love him so much, why does he not love me back" kinda expression.

Does she like Ratul or not?

They actually shld add some back story in case Sree liked Ratul from before. In normal scenario, how can she fall in love with Ratul in such a small time, fully aware that he was supposed to marry her sister.😕

@bold - yes u r rite. The way Sid took "chain ki saas" when Sree and ratul said all is fine. He is caring for his family exactly like an elder son should.

I feel like Ratul's being extremely selfish here. He's trying to escape the situation (quite literally) but has he once thought about the aftermath. Sree would be left here alone to clean the mess he created. She'll be answerable to all the elders for his actions. Looks like his 'imma stay away to think' time didn't do him much good.

@bold - What was the exact dialogue?

They better give us a backstory because Sree's acting like she's in love and it's damn confusing. Maybe, she liked him from before?

Btw can someone here make gifs? I actually want gifs of Sid's reactions from today's episode after the royal rejection🤣

I think either of the two cases will be weird. If the first scenario, then how can she like her jija ji? And if the second then, how can she like her would-be-jijaji so quick?
Best would be to show her as someone who is concerned for Ratul's emotions as a friend and someone who does not have any feelings for him and acknowledges that (in her head). The most important thing I feel is not lose herself around Ratul. She behaves in a rather meek and subservient manner around Ratul, being a mahanta-ki-devi, and that really bothers me.

Absolutely! I felt so too. Even though the makers tried to paint him in angelic light after his me-time, projecting him as someone who cares for everyone around him, but in reality, that "everyone" does not include Sree and that is very bothersome.
Ratul has always been very vocal about how his emotions are messed up because of this swap marriage. But has he for once stopped to think about what Sree must be going through? Has he asked her even once, how she is feeling?

@blue: "Aami toh aami, aami ar 10 jon er moton ki bhabe chinta bhabna korbo?"
Really liked it because it stresses on the importance of having an individual and independent thought process, separate from what society may think right.

I was also thinking, there is already a lot of stigma around counselling. By portraying the counsellor as a good-for-nothing comical individual, did the makers not add to the stigma? I mean, people are anyway hesitant to seek help and if they now have an image of counselling being useless, will it not add to the hesitation?

Fan fiction as well. It would be great to read some stories on how the Rudy-Mithai-Sid story might turn out.
