Honestly, I began the show for ShiVi (and I still love them) but these days I find myself enjoying GauRa and even DevTa more. As for platonic couples, Dhara-Shiva have my heart! I also loved the Dev-Raavi & Shiva-Rishita scenes from the recent episodes.
I really hope the team doesn’t feel pressure to include ShiVi scenes just to appease fans. I have seen stories take a massive hit because of this exact reason. Tbh, I find them a bit over publicized at times 😆 Too much exposure can sometimes be detrimental. The writers/actors/PH should see a difference in feedback when it comes to really good scenes and meh scenes. Sometimes actors and other members of the team mistake a few fans reactions as being the common consensus. I see some not so great scenes being over appreciated. Of course, everyone is working hard and we should appreciate them but constructive criticism is perhaps one of the most helpful forms of feedback. Not every scene will be perfect. I think we do a great job of pointing that out. I hope the team is able to tell the difference. They should take a step back and let the story do the talking. Promotions & appreciation for fans should happen but in a balanced way.
It’ll be nice if they take a step back and focus on Shiva and Raavi instead of ShiVi. I feel like I see where Shiva is coming from and where Raavi is coming from but in their scenes together, something doesn’t seem to click. I think taking a step back will allow both characters to develop and for us to connect with Raavi the same way we did up until the haveli track. There is more to her than being cute!
When it comes to Shiva, there is a wealth of emotions to explore. They can do so much with his character and the various dynamics with Dev, Rishita, etc...
Really hope the writers look beyond the fans on Twitter. I do see the progress when it comes to ShiVi and there are elements to appreciate in their scenes but I expect something more when it comes to them! Each couple on PS give off their own distinct vibe. GauRa & DevTa were on point. For ShiVi, the writers should put in more effort. And the focus should shift on them as individuals. I would love to see a solo Raavi scene.
Yes, they are in a sweet awkward phase where they are exploring their attraction for one another but I would love if the writers stay away from cliches. Shiva’s depth and intensity, their history and Raavi’s bubbly and warm personality deserves better. Maybe it’s time for them to do a revisit of their own and look at the early episodes 😆
