चांगला अभिनय आणि स्क्रिप्ट वाचुन चांगले चित्रपट ओळखणे ही शक्ती सर्वांना अवगत नसते, पण दिलीप कुमार त्याला अपवाद होते, त्यांच्याकडे दोन्ही गोष्टी होत्या.

माझ्यासारख्याचा दिलीप कुमार यांच्याशी जास्त संबंध नाही आला (TV, cinema hall), त्यांचे चित्रपट जेव्हा मी लहान असताना TV वर लागायचे तेव्हा पप्पा यार काय बोरींग पाहता तुम्ही म्हणून TV समोरुन उठून जायचो, नंतर तेच चित्रपट 'हिंदी चित्रपटसृष्टीतील आॅल टाईम हीट' म्हणून मोबाइलवर डाउनलोड करून पाहुन काढले. कर्मा, क्रांती, देवदास, मुगल ए आजम, आरे किती परफेेेेक्ट असावं माणसाने?

देवदास मध्ये सीन आहे की जेव्हा चुन्नी बाबू दिलीप कुमार जीं ना विचारतात की, 'क्या खबर है?' तेव्हा दिलीप कुमार उत्तर देताना म्हणतात की 'खबर बस यही है, की जींदा हैं'
