And they don't need to detach. Maybe just find a healthier way to keep connection. Mandaar ka birthday track didn't make much sense.

Jaya I semi like because how she cares for Pallu and pampers her and hate her for what she made Raghav go through for 10 years the trauma which is still haunting him. 👎🏼

Jayati has a modern outlook, is very understanding MIL no doubt about that. Par she has her own ways to be partial. I feel like Keerthi didn't get this much of emotional support from Amma when she needed it. Warna for having such a cool mother like Jaya, Keerthi never mentioned to her about seeing anyone?

What might've she seen or been through k Sunny jaise khajoor became her unhealthy coping mechanism?

And no, mujhe Kirti pasand nahi h bilkul but I can't help but wonder how things might've been from her viewpoint.

No actually I agree with you on this. And even kirti's hatred for raghav too came from amma(at least to an extent) she was too young to understand all those and amma definitely somehow fuelled that.

And not to forget amma keeps flipping sides as per her convenience. When she's a problem with raghav she sides with kirti and when she's a problem with kirti she sides with raghav. Remember the epi where she said anedo raghav ko ab wohi tumko thik karega or something on that line?🤢 Gosh!! There are sooo many instances where I hated how she behaved with raghav or kirti or even farhad for that matter🤢 She maybe a good mil to pallu, which btw I don't really agree ki she is, but as a mother she failed her own kids!

Where as aai may or may not be the best mil but for now she's definitely the best mother to at least pallu. She had failed her son, mandar which is why she's so strongly protective about pallu.

I used to love amma till that wedding blackmail happened.🤢

Jaya is a wonderful Mother in law👌no doubt about that. She has been very loving and caring towards pallavi since day one. But as a mother to raghav she didn't stand by him, instead of staying away from him she should have stayed with him and helped him become a better man. We all know Raghav always listens to amma. Maybe he would have been a different person.

Sharda lost her son but found a daughter in pallavi. And really loved pallavi. Like any mother even she was worried about pallavi's future. She tried her best to find a suitor for her. She is happy for pallavi and Raghav. I love Pallavi and Aai's bond.

Pallavi wasn't forced to stay in that house and work for the dukaan. It was she who chose to do so. Pallavi by nature is someone who likes to take responsibility.

And if I am watching the same show, I felt Pallavi was very passionate about her work, she enjoyed saree designing and working in that shop, it was not a bojh for her. Is taking responsibility of your family a wrong thing? Wouldn't we do the same for our parents?

Nah buddy she's not that great a MIL too, at least in imo. She made decisions for pallu without asking her opinions, both during the wedding and the train wala epi. To me this defiantly doesn't fall under a good MIL.

She is impulsive like Raghav and does what suits her best and never asks for others opinion and at that time I think she wanted to test both Raghav and Pallavi's feelings for each other and which I think she pretty much succeded. Raghav got all her qualities impulsive, aggressive, angry, drunk everything. 🤣

They are two different people---each playing a pivotal role in Pallavi's life

and drawing a comparision between both of them is something which does not do justice

only one fact matters--they are both mothers--mothers always try to think the best for their child

That is true and she too keeps saying it from time to time "raghav rao apne amma pe geya hain"😆

But still I'll say she's neither a good mother nor a good MIL😆

Yes. And inspite of having their own flaws, both are important in Pallavi's life.
