We understand that Kangana suffers from this urge to give her "expert" opinion about everything, but can she (or any celebrity for that matter) for once think before passing such (un)solicitous remark ?

If she were talking about absence of commitment and fidelity in Bollywood relationships, that would still make sense. But how can she pass such a casual remark over things like religion, secularism and inter-faith marriage-- things that still largely dominate Indian political and social paradigm? She is in a way fuelling the agenda of 'love-jihad" with a vicarious implication that children born from a non-Islamic wives are forcibly converted into Muslims.

We don't need this level of Islamophobia mongering..

It all boils down to carrying the last name of the father because religion is something nobody knows what they were following or not following. It is about patriarchy which is a real issue completely different from what she was trying to camouflage it as. She should go and ask her dad why she will have to carry his last name and not her mother’s last name. She should ask every woman of India and world why their children have to carry the father’s name and not mother’s name. Then I will support her maybe!

How does she know their son is Muslim? How does she know Aamir is still a Muslim? he might as well be an atheist
