I'm so impressed with the way the whole Shagun situation was handled, by both Shaurya and Aastha. First, Shaurya having Bebo and Kitty attending to her and then instructing them to stay with her! Then Aastha being very forward about what Shagun did and how Aastha would take care of the nimbu paani. Lastly, Shaurya saying he was going to call the doctor to relieve Shagun of her hangover. Very well handled.

The episode moved much faster than I anticipated, Shagun drama was resolved in first 5 minutes. Astha gave Shagun a good dressing down while Shaurya got mad at Betty for bringing up what could have been with Shagun. He was very clear that Anokhi was thier bhabhi and she was there to stay so they should stop talking nonsense or trying to rake up past. It was unclear to me why this scene was included in the storyline. Maybe to point out to Shaurya that Shagun intends to create problems. It was funny because everyone except Anokhi understood Shagun's game, it was even more hilarious at how quickly passed out Shagun agreed to go to her room when Shaurya decided to call the doctor. I was so embarrassed on Shagun's behalf. Is this how high class behaves? How can she bring herself to face any member of Sab family after all this?

Now the suhaagraat had a mix of fun and flare. Laughed so hard at the mention of the 70's sindoor shaadi again. It makes me happy that they considered that to be their shaadi. I may not agree with the way it was done, but I like that it holds sentimental value for them.

Not sure if it's an unpopular opinion, but the editing could've been better. The dancing shouldn't have been intercut with the sensual scenes. But overall it was done well. It was great to see a bold, unbashful Anokhi, just wanting to have fun with her husband! I may have to watch it again to get the full feel for it.

I think the CVs made a very smart choice. Given the time slot and the expectations of FD, there was no way they could please the viewers so they took a completely different path. One that felt natural and fun. The couple were playful and bold which made sense given their comfort level with each other. It was good to see Anokhi still considered their sindur marraige as true wedding. She has been holding back due to ambiguity of their marital situation and her fears. It felt good to see her make demands and playfully participate while mocking the usual ITV SRs. Where did she arrange that glass of milk from? There was role reversal with Shaurya asking her to take off his watch or unbutton his shirt which she boldly did. His dream from Holi times finally came true where he imagined a bold Anokhi dressing/undressing him up. There were sensual kisses, scenes but they were interlaced with the dance. You blink and you miss it. In any case the SR is done and Shaurya still cannot believe he managed to marry Anokhi. He seemed so happy to just see her sleeping in thier bed and knowing that his morning will start with seeing her.

I'm sooooo glad Anokhi knows to talk openly with Shaurya now. I was so glad to hear her share her concerns with Shaurya and him responding in kind. It gives me hope that he will continue to stand by and support her.

I had mixed feeling about this because Shaurya literally had to drag it out of her. I wish she had told him when he asked her the first time. As for Shaurya, I do not understand if he is delusional or purposely obtuse since he has a plan. He is definitely on board with Anokhi studying further so much that he even ordered a book shelf for Anokhi to keep her books in their room but he seems to be underplaying the challenge that BM/BP pose in Anokhi's education. On a different note I was touched by how Shaurya handed over his room and responsibility of his life to Anokhi. She can change anything or throw away anything she wants but him.

It was soooo nice to see my babies waking up with each other. Our girl missed her first rasoi, which is traditionally breakfast! Damn, they woke up at 10am!! Must have been an exciting night. 😉 And Shaurya wanted to have joint shower to conserve water!! What an environmentalist he is!🤣

I am sure it was an exciting night , Anokhi's flinch was so realistic when she saw Shaurya niharofying her. he wants more time with her , but when she tries to rope him in to cook with her...him trying escape was so husband like. But I was stuck with his thought that he would have to cook in front of everyone. I wondered if I was reading too much in it but while he has changed for himself and his wife, I saw a glimpse of old regressive traditionalist alive in him.

Precap: same! Can't wait for the drama!

Not sure if anyone actually cooks rasoi on first day. Normally new bride does not do household work until her mehandi is faded in our community. Rasoi is more of a tradition in most families I know where bride either makes one simple dish or she just stirs the pot. I am surprised that BM wants Anokhi to prepare an entire lunch for so many family members without any help by herself. She is trying to make life as hard as possible for Anokhi.

Today had the right mixture of drama that ended fast and my lovely babies having "fun" together. I hope they continue to explore their love life, even with all the drama. I like their nok jhoks and romancing. I want the light heartedness of it, with just a sprinkle of heat!

I agree with you, the episode was balanced. I cannot get enough of our lead couple. I just want to see more nok-jhok, more tashan, more romance and more heat between them but want them to present an united front when dealing with Sab family+Shagun. I also hope to see more college romance now that they are married.

also I liked the way the firm professor Shaurya took charge balancing his naive topper and brought out the sarcasm well while talking to Shagun and also didnot mince words while handling his brainless, insensitive sisters and did put them in place 👏. Shaurya Sabherwal handles things in his own style with that smirk towards his shamless chachu...I remember Tej's lines two bewafoof samajdar nahi bantey!!! Proved again and SS was quick to catch that.

He proved he is Astha's son, wow Mom was on target hitting her right and also giving advice to her new DIL about her going overboard. She was fire. loved it.

Communication is the most vital aspect for any relationship and loved that SS quickly found that something was bothering his wifey and the way he understood his family's rigidness and assurance he gave her as he would fulfil his promise towards their wedding. Loved how he said that he had ordered a book shelf and also giving her the control to take care of him and his life. that was WOW. Empowering her dream which is his promise.

Rest the whole thing was so cute. first time without squirming I was able to laugh at the whole SR scene. so cute... and he turned professor once again like the way during their Valentine day dance he asked her to look into his eyes and follow his moves..... he asked her to keep the milk, remove his watch and that signal of unbuttoning his shirt.... the student was indeed a topper in this.❤️☺️

For the first time SR wasn't postpone for years

No shying away and running away from husband....

No hyperventilating FL....

Both are equally craving and wanting eachother....

Never seen ithna bold FL on her SR.....

Editing could have been better...

Overall a good episode....

Hope they will balance future episodes with family drama and romance...

But I wanted to see sizzling hot SR with this main leads....

After watching today's episode I really think we should not request SP for promos.This show certainly doesn't fit into SP's criteria. SR done in the wedding night not postponed bcoz of some nonsense drama..not done!! FL doesn't know how to cook for a huge family....not done ..koi sanskar hi nahi hain usmey!!!Moreover how dare she asks her patidev to help her in cooking...and on top of that wakes up late for her first rasoi..not done!!!😆How can SP be happy with 'not so eligible' bahu???So, SP is gussa...Katti ..no promotion😆

I sighed a relief that the Shagun and Alok karnama ended within 3-4 mins.Astha was on fire today...jo beizzatti ki usney aaj...loved it!! If she got an opportunity she would have dragged her and thrown her out of the house.Anokhi...what a dhakkan!!!Girl... why being so considerate towards Shagun??Just look at your husband ...he almost had an heart attack when she said that Shagun can take rest in their room.😆But Thank God!! she mentioned about doctor and Shaurya ney maukey pe chauka maar liya.."lagta hain ab toh doctor ko bulana padega nasha utarney key liye"😆I desperately wanted Anokhi to share ,what BM said ,with Shaurya ...and she exactly did so.I was happy...that she shared her fear with him and Shaurya calmly removed her insecurity and didn't forget to assure that he will always be by her side.The ordering of book shelf may be a small gesture but do speak volumes.It's an indication that how much he is serious about her studies ...he is now being the wind beneath her wings.He will do whatever it needs to be done to make her dreams come true!!!❤️

I felt although it was quite cute , the editing of the song part could’ve been a little better,with a few more slightly sensual scenes thrown in for the tharak gang 😝. All in all I’m good with it. I haven’t yet rewatched it, so maybe I might change my mind later.😄

Also, not SR stuff but her telling him about her apprehensions with BM puts everyone at ease. Shaurya now knows and they’ve set the stage for tomorrow’s Pehli Rasoi showdown!

I want someone to cut together just the sensual stuff so I can judge it. The 7 pm timeslot is probably the reason for the PG content.
