Regarding the show, people say that it went nosediving since the makers weren’t able to rip off the books anymore. Writers had to create scenes based on their own imagination and GRRM’s prompts 🤷‍♀️ Last season didn’t suddenly become controversial. Fans began having issues since previous seasons too.

Nahi, I'm talking about my circle here.. almost all of them are readers 😆 And about half of them have kinda lost interest in the series recently They used to really pester me to read the books, but with the recent ones they're like.. you know what, don't bother. There are better books to spend your time on.

I guess the long wait time does add to the frustration, but they're really not the kind to let that affect their opinion of the books themselves So I'm not sure what's going on

For some reason I just don't feel an ounce of interest towards the series 🤪 Which is strange bcz fantasy/action/thriller is totally my kind of combination. But for GoT, I guess the hype was just too much I think that kinda pushed me away mentally...
