If he's back, I for one would definitely welcome it.

With him at the helm, it looks like a potential 8-9/10 show.

Without him, it looks a 5-6/10 show.

Not sure if the pace will suffer (unless the writers and screenplay were changed too), but I'll take that in exchange of some crisper episodes and much better shots of Ishqaan.

Him also being back could indicate the show has got a longer rope from Sony (which would also explain the spate of interviews over the last week or two)
