I don’t remember him much from the beginning of the show but I think he was a good friend and he liked her. I think he wanted to stop the wedding cause he knew Purvi would never want to be a molkki rather thinking Purvi must marry him. But after the marriage he wasn’t shown again so we assumed he accepted defeat and moved on with his life.
In his return I did think he come on a bit too strong with the whole my Purvi is like this and trying to hold her hand and stuff you just don’t do that especially before finding out how she feels now and definitely not to a married woman. But I can accept that as he is young and maybe naive about the world and maybe thinking Purvi still likes him too.
Now I did skip or half listen to his and Sakshi scenes in Goa so I can’t be completely accurate but I think he did say he would back down if Purvi loved Mukhiji and that he’ll accept this marriage if Purvi agreed. He even thanked her and doubled checked she’s okay with this marriage when they arrived in Rewari. Here I was thinking what a sweet guy it’s a shame he’s going to be heartbroken.
Now maybe he was easily manipulated by S to continue the wedding after finding out the truth but everyone has been manipulated by her. But during Fridays episode it was very easy to see Purvi was heartbroken and clearly wanted Mukhiji to stop the wedding. She was not looking like a happy bride. She never once looked at Vipul. Sakshi we know is selfish and in her delusional world. But Vipul has been depicted as a sweet, caring, loving guy so why would he continue this wedding. Even when Mukhiji comes he still wants to get Purvi back. I think it would have made more sense to his character if Vir came to stop the wedding but Vipul says it’s okay you don’t need to take her I can’t marry her if she’s in love with you.
He really should not have been brought back just for jealous Vir and this wedding drama or at least keep his character the same throughout he could have easily accepted defeat again.

He only left once he realised the divorce was not going to happen and there was no chance of him marrying Purvi.

Saba once again ruining characters. Maybe just don’t bring back anymore characters from the past.

This turned into a much longer post than I thought.

Actually the fault lies in inconsistent writing..Just to glorify one character..Every character is butchered including the leads..😒😔

Exactly she has put all her focus on S that everyone else’s characteristics have been messed with. And to make matters worse S is the most poorly written character.
She already had a great lead pair. Virender is unlike any TV lead hero before and Purvi had the potential to be an iconic female lead in the way she was fearless and brave. But Saba made her into a typical mahaan female lead.

She should have put her attention on them.

Okay so coming to Sakshi. I don’t want to speculate too much hopefully everything is explained on Monday as to why and how she got Purvi’s shaadi cancelled.

I saw the episode again and when Vipul says in the car Mukhi is heading to court was S surprised too? She did just say thanks for taking my side to stop Purvi shaadi so I am assuming she didn’t plan the courtroom part. In her mind the divorce was for 2pm so she might have thought it had already happened.
So I think again she wanted Purvi shaadi cancelled for her selfish reasons:

• Mukhi confronted her that she wants this shaadi to give him pain so maybe she’s thinking if I cancel it he won’t think ill of her
  

• For her PurVir divorce has happened so even without shaadi Purvi will have to leave

• Like Mukhi said she wanted to seem like a mahaan Mukhiyani to the world. Look my husband got a molkki but I will give her respect and I will make sure she has a good husband and future. So she can’t stop the wedding and look like she’s toying with people so she’s gets Vir to do it cause why wouldn’t he.

I’ll wait to see what happens on Monday but I can’t imagine how the story will spin to make S positive. Her monologues throughout and her conversations with people have been shown to be too selfish for her to suddenly be so caring.

They'll probably show that she had a sudden epiphany when Purvi's dupatta got stuck on Vir's clothes or when Vir walked away saying he can't stay anymore. All it takes is one moment in ITV. If she had that moment the night before, Vipul wouldn't have had his bride kidnapped at the altar and also would have avoided further heartbreak.

At the end of Thur epi, when the precap was shown of Vir stopping the wedding, I was hopeful that he has some plan up his sleeve to solve the problem. But doesnt look like it. Next week we will have more clarity on the reasons behind this mess, maybe?!. Or is too much to expect?😕

Based on the precap for Mon, I am guessing that Pranjali would have been the mastermind behind orchestrating the forceful marriage of purpul and Sakshi was only acting on their behalf.

The dressing up scene had no charm in it. Just because, how this scene was forcefully fit in appears ridiculous. Filmy style stopping the wedding too, uncalled for and sillyness at its best. IF article title reads "Filmy reunion"... what reunion? He has 2 wives at the moment, reunion of what/who? Reunion, my foot! 😲

At the wedding altar, Purvir are crying so much and literally needs to be peeled from each other, unable to let go. Vir even keeps nodding his head indicating her not to go. Nobody in the family moved a muscle, everyone stood there watch it unfold! Nobody is able to see what it would do to them if the wedding happened? sigh!

Vipul's char - gosh...so odd.He sees all this, but still ready to get married the next minute. Then after divorce is cancelled, he gracefully apologizes and walks out. I wish he was given a chance to talk to Purvi. His exit from the story feels so abrupt and hurried.😲

The whole cancelling of divorce was another stupid sequence. Divorce is not a subscription to a service that you sign up and cancel on a whim! Golly!😊

I also have a firm belief that reuniting PurVir was never in the bucket list of sakshi. For whatever reason/guilt/obligation she might have stopped the wedding, but letting Vir prohibit his divorce with Purvi is something she might never have planned.

Moreover, Vir's battery ran out in between his conversation with lawyer, so sakshi knowing about the delay in divorce isn't possible until the lawyer himself have had informed to her. But aisa kuch usne nhi kia (lawyer said that he told Mukhi, agar sakshi ko bataya hota to he might have mentioned this as well in the court).

One night before sakshi referred to Vir as "humare Mukhi ji" how come she got convinced about PurVir in one damn night?

She was surprised too when Vir reached courtroom and stopped the divorce proceedings -- inferring she was unaware of this.

Sakshi is selfish. She stopped Purvi's marriage due to above mentioned reasons. I don't find this to be any charitable deed of mata ji. Her rapport as mukhiyain and wife matters to her the most. Use Vir ki wo patni banne me bhot interest hai jiske lie he was insane. Par ab wo nhi hai.. so this pinches her.

Haa she's not as bad as other sautans but that doesn't makes her good as well.
