I would have to disagree. He’s done quite a bit albeit subtlety. Dealing with Sarla, managing Dadi and even helping Ishki throughout (minus just before and just after leap). He is a complex character.. I would say smart with a problematic value system thanks to dadi, but he is patient and hears people out (except for Ishki).

Karthik, I see as a reflection of us.. I don’t think we could watch this show without a character like him speaking on our behalf.

Of course I know that Ahaan as a character is more than what we see up front. There are things about him I find very relatable, despite not being as 'sanskaari' as him😆. The way he perceives the world might be a bit flawed thanks to Daadi's upbringing but his outlook towards family and relationships does make sense to me to an extent. I bash him out of my love and concern for him, I'm inspired by Gul in that sense 🤣

Think Rajat says with regards to savvy and ahaan, Ishqi-effect will change ahaan's mind when he will come to know the truth.

Kartik will support Ishqi during drama between dadi and Ishqi.

Yes But I am expecting it to be something similar to Ishqi kidnapping. Kartik came with police and all but AVM was part of it. It was his plan too. I hope they do something similar her as well. It wont go well with audience too if everything is done by Kartik and not Ahaan

Positives for me:

1. He is not at all thinking to leave Ishqi. He knows he wants her in his life.

2. He is ready to take responsibility for the child. This shows his character.

3. He still thinks positive for Rhea and thinks she won't stoop so low. He was with her for 2 years and somewhere he feels guilty to leave her. For 2 years she did not give him reason to doubt her. And he does believe in giving the benefit of the doubt to her. His guilt for doing wrong with Rhea is cloudign his judgment.

I want to believe that he is just waiting for the right moment to tell Ishqi and not planning to hide all the way.

^^^ +100 to all of this. Despite his talliness and the 80s melodrama at the beginning, I liked it. I didn't like the editing and execution but what's new in that 😆 I really love that he's not gone into a self-destructive mode or "I'll let Ishqi live her life by leaving her" mode, which I find so annoying. He's being quite mature about it and I hope the writers don't spoil it 🤔

Yeah, me too hope Ahaan will start doubting Rhea sooner or later... right now his judgment is clouded by his guilt that he has done wrong with Rhea..

Kartik-Dadi relationship is also very different and for Ahaan, dadi is idol, mother-father. Kartik has very distant relationship with dadi. So it is realistic to see Kartik supporting Ishqi in SAvvy case and Ahaan is not. In fact I want that only else story would not be that great.

But in Rhea's case I want Ahaan to come around and start doubitng. He can then take others help.

Bold: Me too. If they rush through this track too and everything is solved within 2 episodes Imma write Gul a strongly worded letter 😳 I'm also hoping Sonu learns about Savy before Ahaan. This girl clearly misses her mom terribly but is shit scared to even share her grief because of Ahaan and Daadi's reactions. It'll be nice to just see some normal mother-daughter moments between her and Savy in secret thanks to Ishqi and Karthik.

Red: Param in pain is a treat to watch 😆

For Rhea, Karthik/Ishqi might try to dig up the truth but I want Ahaan to figure it out around the same time as the two. They might say something or drop some hints that will make Ahaan doubt Rhea but I want him to make the big revelation mostly by himself.
