If Sunny really loved Keerthi the way he claims to love her, then he would've made every effort humanely possible to make her family like him, approve him..I'm sure it wouldn't have required him to go to the lengths of washing Raghav or Pallavi or Amma's feet and then drink that water to prove to them that he really loved Keerthi. All he had to do was assure her family by words amd by actions/behavior that Keerthi will be happy and safe with him.. but instead he chose to threaten and abuse her family and now he is instigating Keerthi against her own family. After all this, he has the audacity to compare himself with Raghav.

@ bold- I got the same vibe today.

I wish Jaya would give Pallavi the exact same advice sober as she did drunk- let her be, let her fall, let her choose her path. Honestly, I know we're on different pages regarding affection for Kirti, but leaving that aside too, my heart outright breaks for her to be in this kind of a toxic, abusive relationship. But at the end of the day, to leave it will have to be her own choice, and with how deep she is, kissi ke kehne se kuch farak nahi padega. Pallavi, Raghav, Jaya- kissi ne bhi kuch kaha, it'll be as well received by her as Pallavi received Raghav telling her that her family sucks.

But Sunny's motivation still confuses me. I don't think it's 'she's Raghav Rao's sister' as Jaya said today- in that case, won't he have been trying to get her and Raghav closer for the past couple of years?

The main test will be when Mandhar returns.. haha

Amna bohot khush hogi, aaj Amrutha ko dekh ke! That scene made me so happy, but their fixation on Pallavi's absence in that was a bit weird. Vijay's assholery has to do with his traits, not Pallavi's absence. Just, jab Pallavi thi, she alone bore the brunt of his behaviour. Now's it's spreading to everyone.

It's no longer the VD and Sulo show with VD dominating everyone while Sulo is on the sidelines constantly repeating "ager mein jhoot boloon tau mera gora rang kala par jaye" or whatever. There is much more going on in that house now and with Mandaar things are seriously going to become complicated. VD has shown his true colours while Milind finally found his spine. Initially, I was like we don't need their scenes anymore but the makers have made it work somehow. Now we just need Nikhil on the good team.

This is unpopular, but I've never hated Deshmukh scenes, and in the last week, with Sharda's 'speaking truth to power' moment with Vijay and Milind's open defiance, and the seeds sowed for Mandaar-Vijay conflict, plus Amrutha's new found clarity, I'm getting quite interested in them too.

I think Nikhil is out now, I'm steeling myself for that. I have a feeling they're focusing on Amrutha's hriday parivartan because Mansi is evil now, and Nikhil is gone, and they want one 'good young kid'.

But the other flaws in his personality on which Pallavi's objections are based, are all known to Keerthi ..she just brushes them off as '' wo alag hai'' So unless he does something extreme like physically harm Pallavi or openly admits to some ulterior motive behind marrying Keerthi, I am not sure what plans she can possibly come up with. The fact that they made Amma say those lines today..about letting Keerthi learn from her mistakes, means that makers want to put a point across ..the point being that Pallavi's way of dealing with Sunny issue, no matter the intention, may not be the only right way there is..

TBH, with how deep Kirti is, I'm not sure physically harming her family will also break through to her. He may just say make some dumb excuse, like it was self defence, and she'll buy it.

She isn’t doing it on purpose in fact I don’t think she even realises she is doing it, the change in her gait and all when she saw Raghav looking at her, it wasn’t intentional.

Koi uske POV se socho she was a very young naive girl when she got married with no knowledge of her physical needs and before she could have a chance to understand them she got widowed and then everyone literally told her she can’t have a life now and though she ignored it but subconsciously she did kill all of her wants especially the physical ones which we saw when Raghav asked her what she wants for herself and she was unable to answer him.

Now suddenly this girl has been put next to a guy who is really hot and her husband to top it off so she is bound to have physical desires without realising because she has never known what they are.

Even the morning bathroom scene proved that she is unaware of physical desires for Raghav and is only beginning to scratch the surface which is evident by the way she blushing and behaving the way a teenage school girl does when she has a crush.

I am so glad they are showing this, it's about time.

Jean, I just loved the episode today. Amazing bonding between Amma and Pallavi. I think it will be helpful when the time becomes tougher.

@bold though it was hurting to see him like this, today I feel more lighter because now I know he wants to come out of all this if Pallavi forgives and supports him. His guilt eating him up and him holding onto it forever was what was worrying me as there didn’t seem to be a way to turn back but now there is. It’s like Amma forgiving him and he got his life back. Now it’s Pallavi’s understanding and forgiveness which he needs. It all depends on what he has done, so we have to wait and see but there is hope. He isn’t ready to sacrifice her for his guilt which itself is the best step forward.

I loved the episode too! The unexpected scenes and the meaning behind them were a treat to watch.

I hope what you say about Raghav is right because I don't want him to become mahaan and sacrifice his love for Pallavi. Something tells me that BWA and others will piggyback on the Mandaar track and mess with his mind. Also, I don't think Ved will let it go this easily and he might be the one to get Pallavi to find out the truth. If Pallavi shows even an iota of doubt, Raghav to gaya. The way he was pleading for her to understand him this time broke my heart. He knows this is probably his last chance at turning around his life, with her to make it bright and beautiful and he's really afraid of losing it all as quickly as he got it. Already he's on shaky ground because of the way they got married, so I understand his confusion.

All in all, though, despite his tears and anguish, I am glad that he's letting it all out, even if in private, because it will purge his soul of all that's bottled up that prevents from breathing freely and reaching out to grab his happiness with both hands.

Raghav has a lot of his good qualities, I feel. Please CVs, show us more flashbacks of Ajit with Amma and with the kids.

The more we learn about them, the more of a contrast I'm able to draw with Vijay/Sharda. Jaya and Ajit really seem to have such a loving, supportive, nonjudgemental relationship. It also drives home the enormity of Jaya's loss- she lost her husband, yes, and that's immensely tragic all by itself. But she seems to have also lost her soulmate, her best friend, her confidante.

I adore the route they're taking with Jaya and Pallavi- I don't think it's a coincidence that she's sharing her and Ajit's ritual with Pallavi. Pallavi is truly becoming a friend and confidante for Jaya.

I was thinking back to the Maa vs Mummy Ji promo, and we spoke a few days back that Jaya doesn't have to be a mom to Pallavi for them to have a beautiful bond, and I think that's what we're seeing here. They're developing a kind of relationship that neither Pallavi shared with Sharda, not Jaya with Kirti. It's a lot more equal than a parent-child relationship, a friendship between two adult women.

Maine finally episode dekh liya, abhi abhi!! Your recommendation was spot on, koi gussa dilaane waala scene nahi tha. SunKi bhi kaafi lowkey the aaj. Mujhe yehi waala Sunny toh dekhna pasand hai- manipulative kamina. Not the MCP, crass dialogues, slapping women waala human who forces me to skip episodes😡 Isko aise rehne dete toh kya problem thi? He could still have been the antagonist 😡

Amma toh stole the show today. She was so freaking cute!!! And I love how we keep getting tidbits of her relationship with her husband. God, they really had a lovely marriage na? It makes her loss all the more heartbreaking.

And humari ladki aaj poori Pikachu hi toh thi. "When Pallavi is here, have no tear"- what a good summary of her character. How can anyone cry with such a ball of sunshine in their lives? I love the relationship between these two so much! Right from the cute drunk bonding. Amma asking her to share if Kirti bothers her, and Amma has such a good outlook on life- if Kirti wants to make mistakes, let her fall. This is the exact right approach towards her. And last scene mein, when they were both taking the 'blame' for the night. Sach mein, yeh saas-bahu nahi, dost hain. I wonder if Amma had any kind of close confidante in the last decade? Nazar na lage in dono ko 🧿

Pallavi up on that window was also so damn cute. She thought she's a macchar, and the lizards will eat her 🤣 And even sober, this girl is having Pikachu moments- when Raghav said he called batman to bring her down, and woh ek second ke liye maan bhi gayi.

Raghav gets slight drunk cuteness points too, though he comes in a solid third after his two ladies today- he actually thought 'woh chala gaya' when Naidu and Archana pointed upwards, ghochu! And he agreed to her plan of jumping down, and him catching, matlab seriously 🤣 Bechara lekin, khud pi ke aaya tha, and yahaan do aur talli logon ko sambhalna pada. But for obvious reasons, his tolerance is much higher, so it didn't seem unrealistic. And awwww, his indulgent look at these two apologizing for getting drunk, and telling them he'll bartend for their next drinking and jamming plan. Hayye ❤️

Amma was the "drunk" drunk and our Pikachu was the "cute" drunk😆 I am loving their chemistry.. they really were like two crack heads college hostel mates and Raghav was like the strict warden 🤣 " Amma tumne nasha kiya hai? " She knows he is drunk too, us halat mein bhi and uses that to defend her actions🤣 Raghav handling the two drunk ladies was beyond hilarious. 🤣 I love how the staff has an understanding about when to disappear when these two suddenly get cosy out of the blue🤣Raghav offering to bartend them next time and Amma was quick to get on board. This has gotta be the most progressive family in town. Thank god we didnt have Keerthi be the party pooper playing "ankhiyo se goli maare and saaso se angaare chhode" from the other end. 🤣

Completely agree! I'm glad nothing happened honestly. I don't want a single first between these two to happen under the influence of alcohol- chaahe ek forehead kiss hi ho. Plus, it would leave a bad taste if Raghav gave in to anything with Pallavi not able to consent. We know she's attracted to him, as does he, but attraction isn't consent. Sure, if she were able to consent, she would, but fact is, she wasn't in a state to say yes or no, which means no.

And aajkal ka mera favorite dialogue- sabr ka phal meetha hota hai. I don't mind waiting for these two!
