Agreed, we've all grown up watching it.. at some places I find it nice too.. but come to think of it we are in 2021, girls these days are much more stronger and capable of taking care of themselves, they don't always need a hero to come and protect them or pick them up.. I know tv hai aise hi characters dikhate and all.. but har time hona zaroori nahi...
I crave for an honest realistic portrayal of a strong, independent woman, who's capable of being on herself and at the same time is emotional and sensitive enough.. I know maybe Raavi is a different character altogether and I love her too.. but pata nahi I personally don't like girls being all that clumsy and always looking for support.. maybe it's not a part of my own characterization that's why I find it a little weird..
pata nahi.. I think I'm thinking too much into it.. I do like it sometimes. But I still feel its not necessary for people to keep falling on each other to make them fall in loveš¤£

You want what I want but we both know that we won't get what we want, at least on ITVš¤£

Aah yes the strong FL becomes vamping gray character⦠I have some hopes from Rishitha though. Letās see, given that itās ITV they might make her a vamp or Dhara 3.0 if they cross 300 episodes.
Do you see Korean dramas? I think you would love āFather is strangeā : they have amazing female characters. It is a bit of time investment but totally worth it

I am completely agree with you. But the fact is ITV has never crossed 1980s story telling atleast with respect to women. Also SP is a giver of all these clichƩs scenes always. We got some really good shows which were about woman being independent in other channels I guess.
But most of the time these shows fail because of TRP aunties not liking strong FLs. They crave for rotlu, clumsy and mahan FLs mostly.
So I have got myself used to watching these thingsš
