Not a KJo and YRF filmy fan .. so didn’t grow up watching their movies..

I'm glad we have an ITV love because our possible Bollywood love has come to a tragic end! You're not a 90's child if you haven't paid your dues to YRF!! 🥺 *dramatic hearbreak* screaming "NAHIIIIIIIII, NAHIIIIIIIII"

Okay I'm done! I really grew up watching a lot of hindi/tamil/malayalam movies because in the 90s when we emigrated here, it was our only connection to the homeland. Also the only way the language stayed alive in between school and work. So there's a lot of nostalgia to the classic hindi movies. This was before Patel brothers took over our world and everything desi became accessible through the internet!

Lol.. No I totally get it! all of my cousins who grew up here are huge SRK / KJo/ YRF/ Suraj Barjatya type movie fans. Like you said desi connection factor is strong with these movies. I was not much of a movie person too.. it was mostly books and music.

Growing up as an awkward shy tomboy to now loving cheesy romantic scenes done right🙄😍 .. I can put Shaurya’s character growth to shame 🤣

These parallels so have my heart. I love these! 😍😍

I have always loved the way he touches her face. Even the first time he did struck a chord. And this time it was sweeter.

And the Shaan aashirwad scene and Shaurya’s completely opposite reaction shows how far he has come.

Oh I love this!! Thanks Yaar Anju. I have not been very amped up about the recent episodes, all this just lifted my mood up. 😍😍

I get it, I was a bookworm growing up too! Music was always in the background but never really got into it until I got married. My husband really loves music. I just don't have a natural ear for it. I just like listening to it, that's the depth I go into.

@bol: The growth curve on your love for cheese! Look at how far you've come. Flying over a fictional couple!!

I am with you in this Anju. SRK is love!! Though not loving his last few movies. But I grew up watching his movies. It’s nostalgia.

Dee!!! How??? Why??? 🤣🤣

I am glad we have ITV and music in common. 🤣🤣

@bold: same dude! I can understand now why fans of other ITV shows suffer through the drama for small clips of their couple. I feel so spoiled when I get so down about not having ShaKhi. But it's an overall fandom consensus, so the CVs are doing something wrong if we all feel the lull.

I'm staying positive and just trying to get through our romance drought!

I don't think I would've picked up the parallel if not for twitter...thank god for the hawk eyes and the elephant memory of the fandom.

😍Feels like SS started planning for Sindoor Shaadi right from the bridge scene itself 🤣
