There were similar leaps in bandini too ten years first then 6 months then 20 years

But ronit Roy who was amars age then he continued it as he was also Balaji camper

And even the FL who was younger than priyal at the time continued it

Instead of taking leap, how about rewinding back to before Sakshi makes entry and start the storyline again from there.
