I see that there are a lot of posts saying that it's weird that they don't have Mandar's pictures, but I want to share something.

My uncle and aunt lost their son due heart ailment at young age of 6 months. And there is not even a single photo of him accessible. A lot of people, including his own sibling (who was born after his death), do not know much about him. My uncle and aunt love clicking photos, so it's unbelievable that they haven't clicked photos of their own son. Obviously they kept those photographs away. I don't think anyone knows why, no one wants to ask them to not make them sad.

Sounds like some classic 1950s trope. Uss time pe bhi ladki ki wish nhi hoti thi to spend her entire life as a widow, it was the society and social norms ke ek baar she became a widow that was it for her, she has to spend her entire life wearing the white garb no matter how young she was.

Yahan par toh Pallavi is a modern girl with modern mindset. Okay I get D family are manipulative par if she had decided she'd go back to her dada and move on in life tab nobody could've stopped her,could they?

What I'm trying to say is, it doesn't create the angst or conflict that is required for the subsequent plots. Even if Pallavi learns Raghav was somehow involved with Mandar's disappearance, she can only feel bad for aayi baba and not for herself because again, Mandaar was only a name on her life.

I feel mandaar marrying pallu must be twist she said some one died that day

Why I feel she was replacement

One day with mandaar she can’t have relationship

Maybe pallu might be knowing the person who died and they knew mandaar well
