No it wasn't sarcastic. It was a genuine compliment, and yeah she was graceful (and ran faster than Raghav, but he has more stamina from all the tire-bashing so he was able to catch up!).

BTW I LOVED the shot of Farhad and Raghav in the mirror of one of the bikes. The camera work is always top notch on this show!

Ved understanding Raghav's nature felt quite realistic. They went their separate ways because of differences in philosophy regarding drug dealing. Otherwise, they were friends and knew each other for years, including the families. Why would they go into business together if they didn't know each other? You don't forget one another's traits just because you become enemies. In fact, it's much more interesting when friends become enemies, because you have all that shared history and it then becomes a game of one-upmanship. Can't wait to see what mess Ved creates in their lives.

Jo don sab ki neendein haraam karta hai, aaj koi uski neend haraam karne aaya hai. Love it!

Also, being a don, Raghav will have enemies on and off and now that his family is with him, he'll have to learn to juggle everything, including how to deal with his new wife's expectations while keeping her safe.

Today her genuine happiness on seeing Pallavi all decked up was so touching.. she was so happy that Raghav put her thaal together..gave her blessings dil se.. Just because she is a Deshmukh doesnt mean she has to be judged the same way as others.

I think so too. The way he has accidentally helped Ved, it can't be just for the sake of exposition, I hope. But that's also why I hope he doesn't have something too insidious planned for Kirti with this pasta, because then I'll be unable to root for him when he ends up being a helping hand, intentionally or not.

Totally agree with this post. Raghav is emotional right now because he is scared for his family. Ved claiming to hurt Pallavi really shocked him. He needs to think clamly on how to keep his family safe. It is test of Raghav's capabilities as a business man, as a son, brother and husband.

RR is either calm and calculative or angry and irrational. Ved has a trump card and that will truly mess RR up. I assume the Mandaar issue will end up being along the lines of KHKT - somebody helped him to the hospital and he is in a coma or he is hiding. Unless he actually is dead but that would be odd if this track is meant to run for a few months.

Lol the cop told Ved to stay away from RR and family. He goes and does exactly what he was explicitly told not to do. Why wasn't he slapped with a restraining order on his way out? RR can easily send him back since he broke the condition of his release - stay away from RR.

VD just gets worse. How can you go about disrespecting religious customs like that? He disrespects everyone. Is there anyone he doesn't disrespect?

I agree with you. I have never doubted her affection or emotion. I have criticized some of her actions, and I do disapprove of some decisions, but overall, there's no doubt she's always had Pallavi's best interest at heart. But I'm so sad to see how both her and Pallavi are already getting so harshly judged, and abhi toh track shuru bhi nahi hua. Kuch karne toh do unhe. But as much as I believe she'll do the right thing, I can't deny it really will be an agnipareeksha for her. Bas woh meri umeedon pe khari utrein, aur main puraane saare gile shikwe bhula dungi.

@bold- so true, we should look at each character as in individual, not as a 'Deshmukh' - uss logic se toh Nikhil bhi Deshmukh hai, and I'll go to war with anyone who compares him to Vijay, Sulochana or Mansi.

I was struck by just how in tune with Pallavi's state of mind Sharda is- compare her reaction to seeing her dressed like a bride today, versus on the day after the wedding when Jaya pushed her into dressing up. Sharda's reactions perfectly mirrored Pallavi's own emotional state. When Pallavi was doing it all zor zabardasti se, she was unhappy. When Pallavi was doing it dil se, she was overjoyed. It's such a mom thing.

I took the aarti ki thaali thing a little differently too. Sure, we can take it negatively that the thaal was destroyed, which is inauspicious, but I'm choosing to focus on how when it all fell apart, Sharda helped Pallavi, uss mess ko sametne mein, when no one else stepped forward, and also shared some great words of wisdom.

I missed this shot! I'll try to catch it if I rewatch, but I'm a huge fan of their camera work with mirrors. Kind of want to make an appreciation post just for some of the most brilliant uses of reflections, even in the tiniest of mirrors.

Exactly, a Raghav who can be calm and calculative would have realised the very easy solution to his Ved problem. He's in violation of his parole conditions, they even have a witness in the form of the lady in the blue sari today, a restraining order would be the easiest of things, I'm sure this is enough to get him imprisoned again.

I didn't like this much in KHKT- I mean, Sona was holding herself responsible because her fiance drugged her to prevent her from helping Raima?? Bohot zyaada convoluted tha, but here I hope it's something along those lines only, I don't want Raghav to be responsible even in the slightest of ways, because that gives Vijay a moral high ground, and I don't want to see it. (I also want Pallavi to be more sensitive than Rohit was, so fingers crossed)
