Bhavani kaku today proved that she is 💯 a materialistic person. A man lovingly brought a gift for his wife and she didn't have even that 0.1 percent thought and concern while accepting the ruby pendant chain from Sai. Virat is like her child is completely sham! Infact she didn't have any feelings towards her own daughter Devi tai how can we expect her to love another woman's son no matter what? She accepting the gift without any guilt proves what she actually is. And she got one for herself, see the pride on her face after Virat left.

Poor Ashwini deserves a loving gift from her son but she's not that type who will exhibit cheapness to gain material possessions. For her her children's happiness is of high priority!

At least in the end she accepted few of Sai's good qualities! Delusional stalker wouldn't have even done that

Even I found Sai's action as her naivety and bada dil. She is not materialistic. More than the pendant, the fact that Virat bought it for her is enough for her and the biggest gift.

Oh my God! I was ROFLing throughout the episode. The scary, crescendo music when Sai said the pendant was given by Virat...

Instead of thinking about the past or worrying about the future tracks (courtesy KD) if one only watches today's episode, it was actually quite good.

This gift buying activity with its surrounding envy and pettiness is part and parcel of joint families. In reality, it is often much more subtle and simmering than this open show of greed and ego.

That a young husband could buy his pretty wife, an expensive gift without buying anything for the rest of his family!! Ohh, the sacrilege!!

So I have an incident from my life, though I don't live in a joint family and all of my family is well educated (disclaimer, just in case)

Relationships are the same, mother-son, husband -wife. It is the wife who feels the undercurrents, and the husbans who does not, leaving the poor wife stuck in between. So for Diwali, as a tradition, my husband and I buy sarees for my MIL, mom and myself. First year, I bought sarees, my MIL looked at my saree and said, what a lovely colour, but my saree colour suits my age I guess,". Bas, being newly married, I was so flustered, what did she mean, should I have brought a different colour, brighter etc. etc. My husband did not even think it was of any importance!! Now if a serial was made on my life, the situation became pretty routine after a point, I understood, she understood, and HE keeps out...

I don't normally relate real life with serials and definitely not GHUM, but these kind of episodes kind of explain why this serial is doing well, with all its cheapness and errors. These are real situations.

Of course, in GHUM, they will add the drama tadka of jealousy to make it spicier, we can't have shaant episodes like these all the time, right??

Virat a.k.a Neil was just too cute today.

And that wannabe bachcha is no match to apna Veeru!! I'm ready to fight with anyone on this!!

I have to mention Kaku's acting today. kishori Ma'am is just too good with her expressions - the way she observes and understands people and situations.

Yesterday itself, I sensed a bit of irritation with Pakhi that everyone was begging her so much and she refused to eat.

Today:

- When Sai gave her the pendant without any hesitation, her eyes softened

- When Virat went to her, her expressions as she understood Virat's strategy. And her slight bit of admiration for Sai...the actress is just too good.

Pre-cap: Somehow I felt there was no real anger in their eyes. Let's see how it plays out. This is like their ahem..foreplay. .
