Exactly Keerthi got to vent out at Raghav so many times, and Raghav has responded with the patriarchal orders or slaps or direct submission or admission... For a change I would love to see him just throw some facts at her and what better opportunity than this!!

Wasn't he the one who talked to her about Vat Savitri and got upset when she didn't answer? Shouldn't he have been excited about buying her gifts or at least shown some interest when Amma mentioned it. I guess it's because he's not really into giving Pallavi gifts at this point.

I do wish he'd stuck to his idea of consulting Krishna so that he could have picked a better saree. 😆

@bold- Same, I may acknowledge that those scenes are often shortcuts, but I do completely melt over them. Objectively speaking though, I still have a preference for Pallavi scoring the victory over him, and I stand by it for the obvious reasons, but I want Raghav standing solidly and unflinchingly by her side.

Yes, exactly. Also, Raghav is not used to her being quiet, so I'm guessing on the way home she seemed in a bad mood but didn't rant. That's why he was agitated when he couldn't figure out what had happened. He did let it go relatively easily on Keerti's insistence, although I do think he might have continued to press Pallavi for answers if Keerti hadn't shown up.

As I type this, I realize how cold I am making him sound. That's not my intent. He's also not acting this way with the intention to be callous, he's just wired to approach things like this.

I liked how his expression changed when Jaya pointed out that vatsavitri is important for Pallavi since she didn't get to do it with Mandaar, it shows he does indeed care and humanized that moment a bit more. Else him just brushing away what Jaya said- that hey, your MIL called, this event of great significance to your wife is coming up, felt a little bit strange.

@bold, exactly. That's just he way he's wired and this approach has worked for him really well over the years. We've seen him operate that way with Pallavi too since day 1, making specific decisions, working to deadlines, etc.

The only reason I can think of for the lack of depth in emotions from his side, is the fact that he has not known or understood Pallavi the way she has.. Pallavi knows about his past, the trauma he had to go through growing up, first losing his nana and lil brother and then being subject to constant hatred and condemnation by what was left of his family.. she connected to his pain because she is a naturally empathetic person..plus the fact that he showed genuine regret and efforts to rectify his mistakes..Raghav on the other hand has no clue of her past and he is not even feeling the urge to dig into her past like she did.. His priorities have been to apologise and set things right for her for the way he wronged her.. now that's out out of the way, he is grateful that she forgave him, accepted him, trusted him when no one did..and he know he needs her, hence the panic when Amma suggested to let her go.. but beyond that he hasn't progressed..he is emotionally stunted. He needs a heavy jolt to realize her value and he definitely needs to know her past.. The next track on Mandhar is gearing towards that hopefully..

Sunny is very chaloo.. he shut down pallavi’s taunting session by bringing up her own marriage. Raghav was visibly offended.. and played the emotional card with raghav about living separately from his parents.. raghav is such an emtional fool.. wo beh gaya..

Am glad ved and sunny arent related.. and ved is going to use sunny against raghav. This time ved is going to be a force to reckon with cuz he is going to be attacking raghav on an emotional level using sunny and mandaar! Raghav is going to lose his brains and do stupid things in emotional turmoil as we know he doesnt take the right decisions when he is emotional.

It was nice to see the soft change in expression when amma spoke to him about pallavi not being able to keep vrat post her husbands death.
Honestly, raghav was sensible when he suggested that he would take krishna with him to choose sari. He didnt know a thing about buying sari and also didnt know pallavi’s liking. But amma stupidly shut him down. If u want to make it special for her, then it has to be according to her choice and taste na.. since its a sentimental thing, they couldve avoided the fun element..

+1 on taking Krishna. He needs to stop blindly following Amma, and choose the best way to get things done.

Keerti is just ignoring her inner voice, I feel because she is obsessed with marrying Sunny right now. This is why I feel it would be best if she realizes her mistake and breaks things off herself eventually. It would be decisive and would show growth in her character. Of course, I hope Pallavi and Raghav would/should support her throughout this.

I also like the fact that Ved is going to attack Raghav on an emotional level because he knows him for many years and understands his weaknesses. Also, the fact that he's just come out of jail means he may not have access to money or other resources, though the CM angle is interesting.

@bold, I am hoping it's a dream sequence for once because it just looks so out of place for where they are in their relationship. He doesn't seem to be challenging or teasing her. He seems serious and his voice is way too soft. And yes, it looks like he wants her to keep expressing herself, khud ka to pata bhi nahin. LOL

I really loved Farhad's expressions from start to finish. He knew and was kinda disappointed with Raghav's choice. I wonder, did he not stop him at the saree shop, or did Raghav as usual ignore him.
