Actually when he comes back it came up while talking and he asks about did anything happen regarding the saree because that matter ended that night itself, Imon says in you house nothing ends at that time but I just don’t want to talk about it

Imon didn't tell him anything at first. Secondly he was go to confront his family but Imon stopped telling him to stop because his family will tell she instigated him. And I don't defend normally, but it was too much for him to process because he was not present in the scene+ Imon stopped him and he just came from outside. So I don't see his fault too much
