That would have been a perfect ending. They both had more chemistry than any of them had with Preity in that movie 😆
Thank you cos Preity didn’t have chemistry with either of them 💀

I just rewatched that scene when SRK came as a cameo and stole the whole show. Omfg the chemistry was 🔥. I would love for them to make a movie continuing Kabir & Saba’s story as they find love again WITH each other 😆
That movie would have been so much better than the crapfest we got in adhm 😆
IKR, I mean I know Shahrukh was playing this psycho stalker but come on who would root for Sunny Deol 🤢Originally posted by: hotchoco
Dil to Pagal Hai. Maybe it's just me but I was never a fan of Madhuri. And to make matters worse, the love story with her and SRK made no sense at all. They also have no chemistry compared to him and Karishma. The ending was so wrong - one of the worse I've ever seen.
Yash Chopra's movies with SRK all were like that. None of the pairs made any sense. Katrina and SRK in JTHJ were another disaster when it was so obvious how much more chemistry he has with Anushka. Katrina stands there like a log the whole time and the audience is left wondering WTF does he even see in that statue.
Same with Darr. Who would ever root for Sunny Deol? You are supposed to be happy he wins in the end except that nobody likes him. 🤣
oops - sorry about the tag.
Hahah yes, I was rooting for Salman-Sush but felt bad for Kat for having to end up with Sohail Staying single was the better option😆Originally posted by: Jaitreya23
Yeah Sushmita's character was a sweetheart. In that sense yes but Salman loved Katrina Naa
brother with Kat😆
IKR, I have seen so many BW movies where people chose to stay with their respective spouses out of gratitude, sense of duty, responsibility, morality etc etc, none of them chose loveOriginally posted by: trouble_006
HDDCS - I wanted it to be Sallu-Aish, matlab ek toh BW folks need to understand the difference between gratitude and love. Ab if someone got a chance to do something for me I'll be grateful, not necessarily fall in love. She just ended up with Ajay coz they couldn't show a married woman ending up with her lover.

Exactly.
I'm all for falling in love after a marriage of convenience (yes the trope is a guilty pleasure of mine when it comes to novels) but they never show that. The protagonist (mostly the heroine) will realise that he/she has responsibility towards her husband/family/society/mangalsutra or the spouse will do some major sacrifice and instead of choosing love they'll stay in the marriage. Hate it.
The other person can be the best thing since sliced bread and you still might not love him. Yeh BW ko kyu nhi samajh ata.
I guess the only movie where this didn't happen was that Akki-Kat-Anil Kapoor movie.

You said it first. You. 🤣 I was about to include this in my list but was planning to sleep and wondered whether any angry members would jump on my quote while I’m defenceless in my sleep 😌
But yes. I wanted Sunny Deol to die in the movie. One simply does not make SRK the villain and either of the Deol brothers the love interest. ITS AGAINST THE LAW!
Going to sleep now. 🤗

That movie is worse because it started a new pandemic called Anushka-Ranbir shippers. You are lucky if you've never come across them but there is a group that thinks Ranbir is madly in love with Anushka and only respects her and not anyone else. 🤪

BW always makes the married couple win even if they were forced into the marriage. Although I don't care for Salman and thought he was really annoying, it was still so regressive to show Ash settling for Ajay. It's like she came to her senses and realized just because she's married now, that's who she owes her allegiance to.
