Rehne do, dhang se bana nhi payenge n the BW actress chosen will hardly have any knowledge about the role she's playing. Wo Devdutt P ki book ka brief padhke behave aise karengi as if they have gone n read the entire RCM or Ramayana. Uske baad definitely koi airheaded statement ayega which will cause a massive controversy. Thanks but no thanks.

I haven't watched the film so can't comment on the performance but I was just talking about the character of Sita. Tbh I don't see any contemporary actress in her age group that has the look to pull off Sita. Aloo has an endearing baby face and I think she can look like she belongs to that era unlike Kriti who looks too modern and a bit androgynous ( not a bad thing but just not feminine enough)

Bollywood has a diverse set of actors donning all kinds of avatars but all hell breaks loose as soon as Hindu/Muslim issue comes up. Doesn't help that screenwriters have truly run out of ideas and all they do is either rehash South movies or retell mythologies.
