Yup! I read almost everyday, sometimes finish two books in a day. I’m a romance junkie. I love bodice rippers and super dark novels where the villain is the main love interest.

Well, on an average I finish 6-7 books, it can go upto 10 yes.

The reason being I am a speed reader. I read very very fast, and I also make sure to spend 4 hours per day reading. That's 28 hours in a week. Of course that gives me ample time to read more!

Minty, even 6-7 books a week is amazing. EVEN ONE A WEEK WOULD BE. I told myself at the beginning of this year, I would try to read at least a few pages a day but RIP to that goal I forget most days.

Me! I love reading and there was a time I was never without a book to read. I started pretty early too. Remember laying my hands on my first Nancy Drew in class 3 and I was hooked from then on. Library period was my favourite and I used to take all the books that were handed out to other kids who were not interested in reading too and we had to submit the books back in the next library period so I used to devour all of them before that 😆 A tale of two cities, Oliver Twist and Pride and Prejudice followed which introduced me to classic English literature which is now my favourite. Right now I am reading Bleak House by Charles Dickens.

I read mostly fiction and prefer autobiographies in non fiction. Actually I just love reading biographies and I am forever in search of good ones to read. I love drama and mystery genres.
These days, since becoming a mom, I find it difficult to take time out for reading but there’s always a book on my night stand. In 2020 I read the most number of books in 5 years 😆 Including The Shining, The moving Finger (Agatha Christie) , Sea of Poppies, 5 different books in one Reader’s Digest volume and autobiography of artist Rekha Rodwiditya. I consider it quite a feat 😆

I used to be addicted to mills & boons types but gradually I have moved on to Non-fiction though time to time I do go back to some of my favorite old classics like Gone with the wind, P&P, etc...

Now with the changing lifestyles and diminishing attentions - Audible Zindabad! I am able to complete at least 2 books a month and 15,000 steps a day.

EDIT: Sorry, I mean non-fiction. :)

You should try reading literary fiction. There's a whole treasure trove of it out there and it's mesmerising!

I used to be hooked to Agatha Christie as a teenager but now I wouldn't ever go back to that pattern of reading!

A correction, I actually meant non-fiction in my OP.

Please feel free to recommend some. ❤️

Agatha Christie, yeah that genre’ is a pass for now!
