And Virat actually not protesting against Sai not being invited and including her in everything with him as his wife was the best way to handle it, that’s what I feel. It shows how after marriage a couple is always together in everything.

I loved Sairat bhoot scene! it was small but impactful, sometimes we should not stretch certain things far that they seem overdone...

Though short it showed virat's inner child which comes out infront of his wife. He craves for her attention and only hers! he might be this fearless police ACP for others but in her presence he is a 10 year old 🤣

SO he wants her attention, wants her to sleep and be right next to him but baiko has other plans 🤣

Loved it when sai pushed him on the bed and said go to sleep, while he kept sitting like what, and she switches off the light and walked out!

Now his devious mind comes to play! his quick thinking helps him come up with a nonsensical story to scare his wife!

The banyan tree has a chudail, tried and tested formula 🤣

His excitement knows no bounds when he sees her visibly distressed by the story, legit jumped on the bed in excitement 🤣

Then, once his work is done, he jumps under the covers and acts as if he is asleep! (virat nautanki chavan)

sai being sai got scared and comes running in and gets in bed! he adds more to the story by jumping out to scare her and adding that the last victim was a medical student!

Sai does not hide her feelings and without giving it any thought holds his hand and sleeps....

He did not expect that! he himself is taken aback (in a good way) and admires his wife! he sees her visibly distressed and gently caresses her head to relax her! her frown line disappears and she sleeps in the comfort of his protection!

Simple yet so beautiful, she knows he is there to protect her, and sleeping in his arms gives her that hope that he won't let anything happen to her!

Why was there no morning scene of waking up and blushing, because it is not needed! there is no awkwardness between the two! Don't forget this is the same couple that hugged and did not even realise it was their first hug! They are domestic and in reality, you don't feel any shame.. Neither did they! There was no guilt or awkwardness between them so no point showing it!

Like I say SAIRAT is realistic not fantasy romance like in movies!

So coming to zillat was actually not bad! See if this is how zillat is generally I don't mid it!

So pakhi tries her best to be 'the best bahu' as if she will get a title at the end! kaku and ninad are her fans anyway!

she coaxes them sweetly to get her work done! A fab manipulator and out-and-out narcissist!

Aai falls prey to her and tries to give the lamest of excuses which pakhi gives back... not needed but chalo!

Mohit wants to concentrate on his work but pakhi says if my PARENTS anniversary was important to you, you would have re-scheduled! if this were Sai, she would tell him, no issues mohit your work and career is more important than a party, so you don't need to come but yes if you have time post-rehearsal do try to make it! That is the difference between the two!

One thinks of herself and the other of everyone!

Sai was not invited as usual on purpose! pakhi did not think anyone would ask her and she would have not shown up.... how, i don't understand.. Virat would have brought her anyway!

Pakhi hides behind the lie that she forgot to invite sai! adds that she wanted to go personally to her room and invite her but it was late and she did not want to go to get insulted.... sai resorts that you only feel insulted because you do some nonsense which makes me give you the answer-back!!

Pakhi smartly uses her thinking to show that she thought the most about sai and wanted to personally invite her! elevated in kaku and stooges eyes....

Sai being the woman she is would not have gone and pakhi knew that! it was a matter of self-respect and Sai keeps that above everything else in her life!

Virat enters the scene and as usual, pakhi tries to manipulate him and asks him if he will come... He won't say no but adds he will come with SAI!

Now the issue starts!

Sai won't let go of her self-respect, she will also not escalate the topic unless driven to that extent! so she says i have college and will be late... Virat won't go without her, he makes it clear.

Pakhi thinks what is sai tells him the truth, virat will believe sai over her any day! He knows sai will never lie... since sai hid the truth, mohit who clearly does not like pakhi and her behavior, tells the truth!

he has got that courage from sai, to stand up for the right no matter what, and he does!

he adds that this was a matter of self-respect for Sai and how should she have forgotten that and gone to a place where she has not been invited.

When virat questions pakhi her silence is the answer and no one defends her cause they know she is wrong and virat will not take the bullshit from them!

He sees through her and questions her, her answer I forgot, i was going to come to your room but it was late and i did not want to disturb you two!

Now some might say why did virat not say that when has that stopped you from coming to our room, why would he say that. he isn't the kind who escalates the situation neither does sai... Sai will only answer back when provoked like last week, in general, both sai and virat are peacemakers, so they won't resort to childish bickering in front of the family... they don't like washing dirty laundry in front of everyone but are usually provoked to...

Pakhi tries to add to the situation and since virat has said yes tells him that sai isn't going to come so what is the point, I rectified my mistake but she still does not want to make the effort!

Virat stands up for his wife, says very categorically how do you expect her to come when you have not invited her, she cannot miss her college and let her education suffer... in all this also he thinks only of SAI!

See he wants her to come as any husband would want their wife to go with them.... So he says I have said sai will come with me so the matter is over, no point stretching it.

Sai obviously feeling bad says I don't want to go as i will be late from college, but virat is ready to be late than go without her. He says no problem even I will come home late and we will go together if we go a little late they won't shut the door on our face right!

sai tries but both virat and aai convince her otherwise...

Why did virat say, oh my wife wasn't invited so even i will not go? again why escalate the situation, if he were to say so there would have been a huge issue again! Simply, he will go with his wife or he won't come and he says it in his own words.....

Well, it is very common when one spouse says no the other convinces them to come! I have seen it first hand, especially with my parents! My mom never wants to go and my dad always wants her to accompany him, and he does convince her. it is not a matter of acha both won't go but let's go out and enjoy a little, we haven't been out in a long time so we can have a good time. he wants sai to have a normal life, go out to parties/events with him, spend time as any married couple does. He says I am your husband and post-marriage a husband should only go with his wife and you are my wife so i will go with you..Time and again he gives SAI the right of a wife, his wife! He makes his stand clear to the family that she is my wife and i am her husband, DEAL WITH IT!!

These little things make sai happy, she gets her right from her husband and that is what matters!

All in all it was a good episode! I know there were fewer private sairat moments, but we will get more....the story has to progress and it will!

Tomorrow we will get aai-sai, aai-sai-godu, sai-virat..... so be a little patient!

All is well that ends well, their journey is so... my hope is that it is handled in a mature and systematic way as well as they don't butcher the characters due to copy-paste!

You manage to make episodes we crib about, interesting - by bringing out nuances that everybody has missed. ❤️

I agree that this kind of zillat drama is tolerable. This is the drama makers should aim for - which shows the power dynamics, subtle digs, manipulations of the Chavan clowns. The abusive crap, the crassness, the loudness is what gets on our nerves. I guess writing polished dialogues require effort - and we know how much Ghum writers love their leisure time - and they resort to easy way out by giving crass, OTT drama.
