Though, anyone arguing that the Indian economy is not completely in shambles is certainly deluding themselves.
I recently came to know and was shocked that in developing countries like China, an average person cannot afford to keep domestic help.
In India it is common practice in middle class to keep full-time 'servants' at home. In urban areas where it's more expensive, domestic helps are called on hourly basis daily.
Sincere question, are there other countries where it's common practice to keep househelp?
To me, this was just proving that wealth is distributed very poorly in India, and the poor are incredibly poor. 😔
