exactly, just commented the same. Their relationship is already in such a level, I can’t figure out the definition of love for these two. They haven’t said they love each other but it’s there in every act of their relationship so what would be the need for a confession.

But then in context of the episode, it felt alright to me. Raghav is in deep, but he has no reason to believe that Pallavi is as well. Her blow-up at Vijay today came from a place of righteousness, and he doesn't know that her own feelings for him were a part of it too. And in a sense, he's right- I believe Pallavi would have jumped to the defense of anyone being treated the way Vijay was treating Raghav. He doesn't want her to stick around because of obligations, to resolve his family issues, or out of pity for his backstory, and he knows that if either of those reasons were indeed what were keeping her back, she'd never ask for an out herself. So he's just giving it to her.

Pallavi will be justifiably hurt though- how many times will she have to demand the right to make her own decisions?

@bold- I'm wondering all of this too, and fairly excited about the future story.

I think by saying he is her priority now, she has implied indirectly that she is not doing anything out of obligation but he is a stubborn fool. He is Raghav Rao and when he gives a promise he has to fulfill it. He is still stuck in that so can’t see what she is trying to tell him. I can clearly understand how her frustration has made her take the broom.

Exactly. I second that. They don't even need the "I love you" to express their feelings. They've already developed their own love language.

Speaking of dramatic TV tropes, I also laughed out loud at the shot of Raghav right before Pallavi's thaali-kicking entrance- jaise FL ki zulfein udti hain na, to indicate her soulmate is nearby, vaise hi aaj Raghav ki zulfien udi uss scene mein. Special wind inside the house, just for him.

Vaise, kal toh bada bola bande ne, ki apni story batao. Today, when she was opening up, he was off in Tum Hi Ho land, and didn't hear a word 🤣🤣But Pallavi bhi toh aise chalte phirte itni bhaari statement bol gayi, can't blame him for being fully thrown off balance. I'd be overwhelmed beyond imagination too, in his place. I wonder whether Pallavi even realized the weight of what she said.

Ok I thought I was the only one who burst out laughing at Ardha Mainda😆 Writers bhavnao me beh gaye....They did a pretty amazing job with rest of the episode so I will let it go..thankfully Shivangi still managed to keep it subtle. Din't notice Raghav's hair..that thali kicking came as a surprise..Wasnt expecting that.. Some of the things she said to the D family, like kutte ki puchh and all, mujhe kisi se rishta nahi rakhna.. apke parivar me jhuthe, dhokebaaz aur chor hain.. These are things she always knew but never said out loud.. But seeing Raghav getting blamed and humiliated like that, and that too repeatedly, by baba snapped something inside her.. I was wondering what must be going on in Manasi's mind? Seeing them fight for each other like that, walking out hand in hand.. and so dashing these two are.. jal bhun ke rakh ho gyi hogi. 😆

🤣🤣🤣🤣

Ufff!

Shocker.

Can I talk about how the build up to this was nicely done. It was still too much for me to digest for any character. But VD wanting to see how far he can go for Pallavi, whether Raghav's ego/pride is more important than her, whether he can actually walk the talk of doing anything for Pallavi and the satisfaction he wanted by making him kneel in front of him because he is Pallavi's father. This was delivered well. He wanted to rebuild that relationship by making Raghav Rao kneel and in his head that makes sense because he can move on from his hatred and eccentricity and can still have the satisfaction of being right. Also some of his thoughts were on the lines of let me redeem you, you need some lessons from me... In his head, Raghav will remain a bad person and he thinks he will sudharofy him by challenging him. But nonetheless his ego >>>>>>>>>>>>

But broooommmmmmm dhoom tana nanananana... ja ke maari laat thali ko!

Jai Bhawani chalate ya koi BGM na chalate toh achha hota! 🤣

That look of Pallavi totally took me back to the confrontation times with him in RR mansion before marriage...woh aaj main tum se kehti hoon behad nafrat karti hoon tumse wala gussa, aaj dikha..🥳

The last time she gave an earful to VD, I had a complaint that she didn't talk about herself and how he wronged her. This time she addressed that, but not in the way I would have wished, but I know this wasn't the time to pull that kind of emotion. This time VD was pulling a mad stunt and trying to humiliate Raghav and she needed to instill some facts in all of their brains. That I don't want this mad family, because you are harbouring a criminal and you all are disrespecting me and my husband, you can go to hell for all I care. She made it clear, mere pyaar aur bharose ka istemaal mat karo to VD, she took away the right by which VD was trying to humiliate Raghav. She took away the card he was playing...🥳

Also she needed to declare to her family that they are being obstinate in judging Raghav and if they cannot respect their marriage or her or him, they can go to hell for their ego powerplay and hypocrisy. Indirectly she declared to Raghav that the marriage is serious for her and he doesn't need to do these kind of stunts and they don't deserve it.

Raghav has that guilt complex in his mind which VD preys on that he is a bad person and not worthy of Pallavi. Pallavi sees through this emotional manipulation and she tried to put that point across to him, his family and her family, all. That stop going behind him you all and that even if they can't accept him, at least respect her relationship with him, and if they can't, she will break the ties... Simple! Ban gaya first priority!

Ironic though, the past few days all she has been doing is thinking about him only and he accused her of not giving him enough importance. 🤣

Aaj sabki class legi... Sahi tha! 🤣

Lo ban gaye tum meri first priority! Aise hathoda lekar uske dimaag mein keel se thok thok ke ghusa rahi hai ye baat, and again she said it clearly that I choose you over my family...Ki sun rahe ho, tragedy crib king! 🤣

Precap

The more she does such things for him, the more he will look back at what he did to her and most importantly the foundation of their marriage. The more they get serious, the more deal part will haunt him... I saw it that way..He reacted similarly when she chose to trust him before VD. That usne mere liye ye sab kiya lekin uske dukh ki wajah main khud hoon! Or maybe the thought that she did all of that, but I couldn't fulfill my promise even..

Chalo whatever, I had to watch it numerous times to absorb the shock! If somebody asked me what I was doing, I would have said, "Bas nutella kha rahi hoon!"🤣

Pallavi aaj sherni mode mein thi, and I loved every second of it. Honestly, had to watch the episode a couple of times to gather my thoughts, because the first time I was too in awe of her to analyze much else.

I'm a little conscious about going there again, because I've ranted and raved about this man enough in the past few days, but a couple of Vijay points I want to mention- I've never felt such disgust towards a character. One word that completely revolted me today was when Pallavi asked him WTF is going on here, he said it's the 'shuruat' of mending relationships- how much further and lower was he planning to go, if this was his beginning?

Pallavi's blow-up at him was exactly what I wanted from her, but I was too scared to hope for this early. I wanted a moment of her going, who the hell are you to disown or forgive me, today I'm done with you. And we got that today. I loved some of her lines today- largely, I think the dialogues were really well written. Lines that stood out-

'Pehle aap apni harkaton pe lagaam kasiye'

YES, YES, YES. Yes, please. So sick of the whole 'Badon ke saath tameez se baat karo' idea. No, I'm sorry, respect has to be earned, your age doesn't entitle you to respect beyond a point. This idea is so deeply ingrained in us, I saw a couple of responses on other platforms where people were uncomfortable with Pallavi calling Vijay by his name, felt she took it too far by doing that, and it's important to address. His behaviour didn't warrant any respect from anyone in that moment, so I'm glad Pallavi was beyond this BS.

'Aapka gussa ek hadd tak hi jaayaz hai, uske baad nahi'

This, along with her conversation with Jaya yesterday, gave a little perspective on why she's apologized, and why she's so far been okay with the 'getting Deshmukhs to forgive Pallavi' narrative that's been annoying many of us. She holds some guilt for forging the shop accounts, even though her intentions were good. She's willing to accept anger in response for that. But Vijay is now extremely disproportionate in his response, and just as clearly as she sees her own mistake, she sees the severe flaw in his response too.

And of course, 'Mujhe aap logon se koi rishta nahi rakhna hai. Yeh parivaar mere pyaar aur parvah ke laayak hi nahi hai'. No comments needed. Milind's surprised but happy face at being included in Pallavi's 'apne' was very cute and heartwarming. Pallavi's going to remember that his actions allowed her to intervene today, the fact that he called her means something to her.

Another shikar of our sherni today was Kirti. Again, even in her rage, her character was kept consistent. Kirti was throwing blame at both Pallavi and Raghav- explicitly said 'this is all because of you'- Pallavi didn't say a single word in her own defense. Not a trait I love, but definitely consistent. I wonder how the reveal that Raghav paid Sunny off is going to play out.

Oof, this is long already, but coming to RaghVi today. Loved their scenes so much. I got emotional in their first scene, in the hallway right after they reach home. Raghav is arguing about why Pallavi brought up Sulochana, since he had a deal with her. My reading of this scene was that he was way too overwhelmed by what had just gone down, and not in a state to be able to process it, so he latched onto this insignificant thing, which he could understand and process. After everything he heard her say, why else would he fixate on, "BWA is going to clear your name." Pallavi was having none of it, and he deserved that yelling he got from her about letting her make decisions regarding her family. All those mahaanta ke taane, and dimaag ghar bhool gaye the kya and the tragedy king taunt - all perfect, and delivered perfectly by Shivangi.

And then the bedroom scene- each frame was perfect. I loved her upfront 'nahi hoon main theek'- she's beyond pretences. I loved how he instantly went from scared of her to worried about her in that very second. And her 'gussa aa raha hai mujhe tumpe' was again lovely. No pretences, open communication, and open expression of her very valid emotions. The way her voice broke at "Accha hua ki kaka ne mujhe bula liya, warna baba...". It's a lot to process, that someone you've loved and respected above all else could stoop to such a level. My heart broke for her, and for him, who's never had someone care so deeply about his self respect.

Rest of the scene, there's nothing left to say, except it's still giving me the feels. Pallavi has just about reached her breaking point, and I don't think she realized what her statement meant to Raghav. Raghav is overwhelmed beyond belief. Dono ne dil le liya aaj.

Lol, nope, you're not alone. But since everything today was executed and delivered so well, I can't really bring myself to be upset about it beyond it being a mild 'lol wtf?!?' moment. So I was kind of dreading today's episode because of how uncomfortable the situation made me, so I read all the spoilers before watching, so I was thus expecting the thaali kicking- which made me notice the lehrati hui zulfein 😆😆

Actually, the thaali kicking was a slight 'lol wtf?!?' moment too- how did she reach there without anyone noticing? Farhad ki bhaabhi ke andar sach mein bhoot chad gaya, which gave her special teleportation powers. Her gloves were off today though, which was great to see.

Hone do Mansi ko jal bhun ke raakh. That's what she deserves. We spoke about Amrutha yesterday, so I have to ask- what did you make of her attempt at intervention? A glimmer of innate goodness, or her old crush on Raghav, or something else altogether?

@bold- Pallavi hasn't reached that point yet. She'll stand up for others, but it's difficult for her to stand for herself. Even with Kirti, she defended Raghav, not herself, though she's fully blameless in the Sunny fiasco. I'd have liked a bit of 'What do you have to forgive me for, anyway? You should be the one asking for forgiveness', but like you said, it wasn't the time for that.

I love your take on the precap, and I agree. While they're on the right path, moving past what he's done to her is not going to be easy, and it's going to be exponentially tougher for him than it is for her, especially in light of all these wonderful surprises she's giving him. Add his guilt complex, it's going to haunt him for a long, long time.

I sometimes wonder whether it would be healthier for them to divorce, date, and remarry sometime in the future when they're both sure of wanting a life partner, and sure of their love for each other.

Btw I realised in all of this Pallavi isn't clearing her name wrt pre marriage accusations.. This, they are smartly trying to not change VD's perspective or make deshmukhs look guilty. They will keep on judging Pallavi and Raghav, and it suits the story..

Also, Raghav wanted Pallavi to go back to Deshmukhs in real sense or rhetorically? Does he wish that they start afresh after all this? Or it was just his way of doing justice because all of this didn't happen spontaneously, and he wishes things could go back to where they were with Pallavi being in that role in Deshmukh family once again... But then there comes his expectations from her because he considers her as his wife...

All of this confusion exists because the marriage wasn't normal, period. Neither Deshmukhs, nor Raos, nor Pallavi and Raghav, koi bhi khush nahin tha, except Amma, even she backtracked sometimes.

Have they moved on from that fact is the question, I have in my mind...

Also, Pallavi talked about kisi ke saamne itna mat jhuko, does that rule apply to them wrt each other as well?. Because they seem like they are going to go to any extent... Self preservation is a natural thing though and I expect that kind of behaviour from them sometimes at least..😆

Also, continuing my praise of her dynamics with Amma, how cool is it that she hugs her husband in front of Amma without the usually silliness and coyness. Amma is the one who makes her feel at home from that perspective too. I love it!

TRUE that to all what you have said above. These two (Sai and Shivangi) are the power couple of ITV!!!!!
