It's like Virat forgot all about acting now. I am confused about his expressions. Maybe someone is not satisfied with his previous acting before and hence taking home tuition to bring him down to their level 😉😃

His expressions in last few minutes were blank, you couldn't gauge what he was thinking unless he opened his mouth which he rarely does. Seems like makers or the actor thought they/he were giving too much away for the audience to chew about over Virat's multifaceted expressions, and hence, decided to tone them down.

The episode felt lacking on all accounts.

Even Sai's comebacks to Pakhi, Ninad, and Bhavani kaku did not have the impact it once had - probably because no matter what she says they circle back to the same old abuses, no growth or difference to what has already been rehashed in the past 200 episodes.

While we have previously gauged Virat's feelings from his reactions, today, even that was lacking. And when he did have something to do in the scene - which was to stop Sai from leaving, I really did not feel the intensity that we usually get with Sairat scenes. It just wasn't there, which is unfortunate because this is (in my opinion), a huge turning point in their relationship. Especially since, it was only about 1+ week ago in Ghum timeline (at least that's what I presume based on the episodes) that he threw her out of the house, and now he is doing a 180 and telling her to stay.

Like you said - Ninad can drop dead from a heart attack for all I care (he is a fictional character so I don't feel bad).

Someone needs to tape Pakhi's mouth shut - can Bhavani have her do a moun vrat until Samrat comes back - that will bring the much needed peace that the Chawan Niwas idiots keep harping about.

I have to say though, Bhavani kaku's reaction was all over the place - is she slowly and begrudgingly wanting Sai to stay, I mean she did admit that Sai cared for Virat and in the precap she even asks Sai whether she will be joining them..🤔

I have no clue what is wrong with Neil's acting these days.. the word you mentioned lackluster..totally..He looks stagnated and limited now.. This is going nowhere.. The character anyway was destroyed now the portrayal as well is going downhill.. You see the whole point of people liking Ghum was Virat's portrayal and Virat being different from Rono ..being much much better and human than him.. But then this is so frustrating now because nothing of the mentioned reasons exist for Ghum to be considered as a good show now...I am disappointed in Neil a lot now.. Have always found a reason when he faltered a bit.. But now his expressions seems like he is always clueless.. always confused and has no iota of guilt and anger when he or his family is wrong..Atleast we got it before..if not the dialogues or the character were good..

I had the same reaction to the acting today. He was literally expressionless. Which is not how I have seen him before. How can the writing be so bad only for him?? Are they shooting separate shots and so the editing is messed up??

And for me, I have only seen him in Ghum.. nothing before that. So I do have a lot to notice and mention.

I have seen him in Gulaal when he was just a beginner and also in Karol Bagh and a bit in Diya Baati during the whole IPS training sequence.. But here he has gone downhill totally in the last two weeks.. Seems like the character anyway is pathetic and he looks disinterested and rightly so.. Today was his worst performance.. He seriously needs to have a talk with the writers on the character if he does not relate it with all... Copy or no copy the actor needs to relate at least a bit to the character.

Personally i liked some Sairat scenes of harini bday and also yesterday's hospital scene but its not "connecting" because they are standalone. There is no progress in Sairats relationship itself because since the vaada reveal in poolside, everything has stagnated. The hug scene of Sairat before it was ruined by PP handholding was actually nice. It was a tight hug. But it lasted all of 2 secs maybe :( i also liked the Sai applying compress on his akdi gardan but they ended that scene abruptly. Sai was emotional n told Virat you broke my heart and his response is "bappa, kaash aisa eklauta piece hi hai". Matlsb kya bakwaas hai. Then the Virat missing Sai and his happiness on seeing her message was really good. But then again he kept interrupting Aai/Sunny from giving pp a good dose.

So the problem is Virat swings like a pendulum. Pp ke vajah seh sab kuch hua hai yet he is defending her in front of everyone. Even now when he sees just how much Sai prioritisises him over any anger/self respect, he still is allowing pp to speak so disrespectfully to her. So its not acting but poor writing/screenplay for Virat that has made it seem like Sairat are not truly "together". Theres too much of an unsaid void there.

So token Sairat scenes are not enough, we need to see Virats anger/frustration at how pp treats Sai and gets in the way of him and Sai being happy and together.

But todays scene was a rare sub par acting performance by neil. I didn't see his sadness, his bechaini or desperation to stop Sai, not even a monologue. When he hears that Sai was leaving, he is least affected by pp's taunts...not even the usual expressions of disagreement rather than words that he normally has. When he felt Sai had provoked pp into leaving he "accused" her and lambasted her saying she must be happy pp left. Jabki tab Sai ne sirf sach bola tha and never told Sai to leave. But when pp is directly responsible for Sai leaving, he is not even asking pp to shut up. And his reaction at Sai leaving is so underwhelming. Atleast when he walked up to her, they could have shot it differently where he shuts the door, holds her hand haq seh and asks her to come with him. That one gesture of holding her hand could have added so much to the scene.

Sai was very good in todays emotional confrontation, where by the end of the argument you can see her crumble but prevent herself from breaking in front of them, gather herself for 2 secs and run away. That scene was beautiful. I wish virat had seen just how badly Sai is affected by the taanas. Virats portrayal has been so disappointing that its hard to enjoy these few Sairat moments.

Imagine the contrast, how is a normal audience supposed to be Okay with it all.. Virat is butchered way beyond and now the portrayal also is not helping.. I think people are just there at the brink to lose it...

The way he was trying to stop Sai. It looked bland. He looked so tired. He is supposed to be more tough and intense .Tho that Sshhh was hot 🔥.

Daily Dose of Taunting name calling gets boring. Yes SaiRat scene didn't have any flow from previous out burst. But it was beautiful.

In my opinion yesterday and today episodes justified Ghum Trailers.His love will be by his side but still his hurt will be empty for unable to say anything. But this shoddy writing making me disconnected with the actual concept.

The man completely lost it. It's not a complex character. Why viewers have to take the time to think and analyse his action. After Every single episode we are kind Of brain storming why Virat responded like this.

Makers won't change anything unless channel gives them nod. TRP are the final answer. Let's see what happens

Personally, I feel everything went downhill after Virat refused to take a stand for Sai and made her look like a liar. After that, Virat is behaving so odd and that seems to be affecting the acting too. Also, everything has become stagnant now. No progress in Sairat's relation, no change in the family's behavior towards Sai or Pakhi or in general. Even the taunts, the fights, the confrontations looks the same because that has been going on forever now. I feel they are simply dragging the episodes with some lollipop Sairat scenes to satisfy the fans. Other than that, they are stuck for a longtime now. Maybe that is affecting the actors too. I mean, for how long can they keep on giving the same dialogues and expressions. Everything is bound to become monotonous after a point, not just for the audience but for the actors too.

right u say! i think all the people in that team are homesick & may be only just doing things mechanically/ Their excitement is missing. the only person who actually looked same is Pakji because she is always same lackluster. i am really not able to connect to sairat. i like the hug scene until the handholding becuase it was so natural and so intense also. even poolside scene was very good with sai walking out from there but after that virat is just gong on and on with kya suna kya suna as if his BFF was whispering in his ears n ya like u pointed out Sai directly told him so many times about what is botehring her but he cannot understand and his reactons with Paki's behuda talks are so supportive like he agrees with her actually. i know we can say that virat is not affected by what Paki says becuse he is more keen on Sai's reaction and keeping his energy only at sai but it is not getting conveyed anyhow. he only talks to stop sai from saying anything and got no other dialogue for more than 10 days and in expression part the actor is not able to convey may be because he is homesick or really not convinced himself about the butchering of his charatcter. i dont know what to say, virat should have dne more than raising hand to stop kaku from talking & definitly needs to shut Pakhi like he did when he was all devdas mode after coming bck from GC. something is missing. even in precap, he's smiling & telling pakhi he will come with Sai, and is surprised she has not called Sai but i can't understand why he wants to force sai to interact with Pakhi if both of hem dont want and Pakhi cannot stay in her limits and then expect sai to mind her tongue. i dont know if it will connect again.

PS: Where was virat full day after doctor's appointment that he came after Sai finished her college and came home? why no one tells him how the family attacked her but anyway it will not make any difference. it sounded like Sai created tamasha to leave the house

only Pakhi was not monotonous because she is always monotonous so nothing new 🤣
