Because America makes policies that affect the whole world so why wouldn't they be interested? You don't need relatives there to be concerned. Even Modi himself was meddling and doing Abki Baar Trump Sarkaar. The whole world keenly follows US elections.

I've been following stuff in Brazil lately. I don't know anyone there. You can't really ask people not to care abut other places. Everyone follows Israel/Palestine issues - who are we to decide that only the people directly involved can care about it?

People who don’t understand US election rules and are probably never going to be visiting or living in US were posting election conspiracies in here 🤐.

Go to any site including sports sites, Tennis boards for ex. since 2016 they all became unbearable with non stop political rants against America ( mostly by Europeans), barely any tennis was discussed, thankfully that has improved now naturally... On I-F too you hardly saw rants like this before by non Indian members or even Indians... Of course there were jokes and stuff

No complaints, just an observation
