Even the roads are being repaired here because of the FIFA World Cup. The lockdown was lifted in Doha last month. The people r happy so at least tht is good. I would be a little wary though. I remember after the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. The stadium built were completely useless n were being use as bus depots. There was a short term boom in the economy then long term effect of it was not good. Although Qatar is probably in a better economic state than Brazil so they might not feel it as much as Brazil did.
