So the old man gave her all his property and died I guess. And his son had filed a case which Urmi won along with all the wealth.

Urmi lived with Keshav till she had 2 kids. When she eloped Kirti was 8 or 9 and Biplab was 1 or 2. So she lived a married life with Keshav for a decade or a little more.

Seeing her mourning for her dead first husband, she did love him at one point maybe.

Why did she abandon them? Was wealth the only reason? And how did she meet this wealthy older man?

Just finished watching a movie on Netflix - Flipped. The plot is very different from LU, yet I couldn't help but think about this story while watching it ❤️

Chapter 61 was soooo needed to understand Urmila and her past. She was always the one who fancied a better life, a fancy one at that as well. And from my perspective, she probably really liked her husband as well minus his wealth and the rest of it. However, Karuna had some hand in pushing her.
As a reader, and someone who can see both sides of the story, it’s hard to me to choose one side because both on their respective ends has some wrongs.
Karuna’s emotion while it’s valid but the insecurities could have been handled better. what I wonder is does urmi have no emotions towards her children? If no, why??

She dislikes the Ojha’s and yet she is okay with kirthi being married in that family. I don’t understand it.

Chapter 61- such a heart melting read. Kirthi at last went to Nishits dadi to find some peace and she chose the right place. Loved that part.
damn damn, did mr agarwal send his man to keep an eye on kirthi?? This only gets more interesting 😝. Can’t wait for more

Wonderful insight into the past.

Can probably understand Urmila 's negative emotions towards her Mother in law.

But that does not make right her attitude towards her children or her abandonment of them.

Karuna was definitely not a very good mother in law, as a woman she should have been more protective of her Daughter in law as against the Ojhas. She could have tried to be more understanding of her.

But nonetheless, she took care of her grand kids when their parents left them.

Buta was a surprise in the end. Seems like Kirti is not as alone as she thinks herself to be.

Also, vaccination went well. Had high fever last night so took a paracetamol. My arm feels heavy today. Hopefully it will get better in a day or two.

I am fine, Shradha. Fever stayed only for a night. The arm was a bit sore and gave me trouble for more than two days but it's all well now. Thank you for asking. 😊
