I actually just watched some of the episodes post ishqi breaking off the wedding and pre-leap and although things have moved ahead now, some of the things I found interesting were that:

1. Actually if you look at the whole thing from Ahaan s perspective he is within character (something I couldn’t understand without watching it) - he thinks that everything went wrong because ishqi broke off the wedding and that is how it would appear. Because he doesn’t understand the reason he thinks it’s because of ishqi liking him - then the guilt and anger and relation to his mum all got a bit too real for him combined with his denial. He was conflicted and actually he did ask her multiple times what happened despite his anger but when she went silent instead of wondering about that he assumed he was right.
That just makes him look like someone who is not able to think for himself - this is his main character flaw so hopefully if his redemption track takes place this is something he realises. It was interesting- he just acts based on who the last person he spoke to is - speak to dadi= call the police, speak to chachi/kartik = message ishqi.. 🤣 doesn’t have his own brains..
The main thing that was too far I still feel is him making sure she doesn’t work anywhere in Delhi - I hope there might be some justification around that in the show or that his guilt on this is shown well.

2. More interesting to me is that Ishqi actually I don’t think loves him much at all and maybe I’m wrong but I felt she didn’t even trust him fully even before all his kartootens - Eg, She doubted whether he would accept the truth about mayank based on his previous comments which made her hesitate and she also felt she could only tell him with proof. Given what he’s been like it does make sense. I think she was just curious about him and felt he might be on her side and attraction was definitely there. And after all this I think her list will surely have changed to include something about mutual trust… So now the road is even longer surely for him to (re)gain her trust let alone love…even with the mayank reveal?

3. Major plot holes: why run to the hotel when the car is already there!? Why not message Ahaan to say I am on my way? I personally like the mystery re: savi and her car accident as look forward to seeing how it unfolds..

4. villains in order of evilness - sarlu, mayank and Dadi 😡

Long post mainly with obvious points but feel like actually the drama does have a consistency in character etc.

And this looks like other Gul serial reveals.for eg: Arnav's kidnap and Khushi falling off the cliff during his reveal.

oh yes ... Ahaan was in character but he went overboard in the destroying life part. I guess the only consolation is he does NOT know Ishqi's life specifics with regards to MAusa-ji and why she really needs the job / home for her and Mausi. Once he gets to know that, he will realize the terrible torment he put them through. And Yes Yes Yes to Ahaan being easily influenced.

I find that when he is alone with Ishqi, without any prior interaction with people, he caves and becomes himself - only in that brief time. We saw that on Engagement, Mehndi, Sangeet, etc.

Ishqi is definitely not even in the same ballpark of feelings as Ahaan is. He is far more deeper involved than Ishqi. But he assumes she has the exact same feelings. I find that had Mayank been a good person, she would have married him no problem- regardless of chemistry, geography and history with Ahaan, lol. She can easily gauge her feelings into respect / friendship. Abhi Ishqi ka Ishq nahi shuru hua ... so far Ahaan ka obsessive Ishq hai and the poor guy is still in denial. 🤪
