I know Talat is controlling but I love how strong of a character Talat is. Good for her 👏

So much foreshadowing man. Novera is going to be with Davar for sure. :(. At least in the beginning until Davar sahi salamat hands over Essa’s amanat back to him. :(

It’s so strange how I have jumped the parties when until Essa’s entry I wanted her to be with Davar and now I am like please no don’t break poor Essa’s heart. :(

And I agree with @Fobby _fosho2. Rida is the most favorite character until Essa’s entry but now I am low key wishing for her end so that at least one complication is removed from Essa’s path to Novera. This Essa ne kya kar diya yaar!

Cannot wait to read what Doc and the rest of you will say in vistaar about Essa Novera super se bhi uper scene. ❤️

Absolutely! I am glad to see a perfect foil for a character like Maham nahi toh watching this show would’ve been a drudgery with Maham speaking garbage making big big eyes showing all the 32 teeth every time she opens her mouth and everyone else doing her slavery. We have Talat and Essa here who can save us from her onslaught.

I don’t know how bad phuppo was before but everything she said today was bang on! I’m glad she said she can survive without Dawar, she’s done it before. If Maham is supposed to be like her phuppo than it’s game on😆

My Mil was Also this no bull shit Taking kind of woman. She was always ready to call a taxi and move in a hotel wherever she got in a spat with her sons.🤣 Yes sons, we bahus did not have the balls to say much 😆 and she appreciated us, that we never did badtameezi with her. May Allah bless her with Jannah.

What a beautiful follow-through to yesterday’s episode...

Once again fantastic use of symbolism and allegories!👌

But, will come to that in a bit...

First up, glad that they showed the proposal scene once again today...

Amplified the impact of the EssaVera conversation manifold!!

At the cost of sounding like a broken record, will repeat myself...Essa and Navera are just so comfortable with each other, especially Navera! She speaks her heart out to him....almost in the same vein as she does to Rida....

Very good writing once again today...the essence of Navera and Essa brought out so effectively...by just a simple and heartfelt conversation...

Navera calling a spade a spade

Essa also saying it like it is

Navera was not going to take Essa’s “Jo aapke liye aziz hai, woh mere liye kaise nahin hoga” at face value...

Glad Navera’s intelligent side was brought out subtly, yet firmly, when she counter-questioned him, most matter of factly...

The honesty in his revert was heartwarming!!

From the “Main aapke nazron main nahin gir sakta”

To “Mohabbat ke bahot saare rang hote hain”...”Aise nahin to waise sahi”

To the final and most impactful

“Jaise aap use itna chahti hain...Main bhi toh aapko chahta hoon”

And the final shots of the sequence...as the camera swings from Essa to Navera...and back to Essa...

Everything had been said...

They were now only absorbing the pristine beauty of what just transpired...

Samira Fazal, Saima Waseem, Usama Khan and Komal Aziz Khan just nailed it today!

👏👏👏

All was not over yet...

The proverbial cherry was in the form of the final shot...

As Davar passed by....actually “crossed” Essa and Navera’s paths in a sense...

This was just the beginning

Of some beautiful symbolism to follow...

As Essa most instinctively offers to take Navera along

And, Davar interjects...

All these moments were completely situational, today

For me however, these were extremely well done indicators of the future...

Some brilliant storytelling and direction, on display!👏👍👌

Another lovely touch of Essa’s deep-rooted love for Navera...as Davar and Navera leave for Sadaf and her son’s place...Essa, despite being in his pensive mode...doesn’t forget to turn back...looking on...his concern for Navera, always uppermost on his mind...at just, all times!!

Is this guy for real??❤️

One more subtlety, beautifully depicted today...as to how Davar, despite his concern for Navera, is not the right man for her, especially vis-a-vis Essa...

His “Don’t be stupid, Navera” wasn’t as innocuous as it was shown to be...

It was to bring out the contrast with Essa’s character, and Essa’s dynamic with Navera...

Navera has been equally “stupid” with Essa, but he hasn’t been quick to judge...he hasn’t been impulsive to generalise...he has seen Navera for what she truly is...a loving, kind, genuine person...and without even realising it, brought out her intelligent side beautifully...by just letting her be herself!

Essa and Navera are just meant to be...

‘Cos that’s what Companionship is all about...

Their trials and tribulations have only just started...

This is going to be one roller coaster ride...

I for one, am bracing myself, for their myriad shades of love!

Oh wow! Guess it's pretty evident now.. the trajectory of this drama....

From this point on, it's really going to be the treatment that is going to make all the difference....if Essa and Navera have to end up together, it has to be totally worth it, na? That's the only way this love story will be one to remember...

Guess very soon, I will have to do away with my FF mode... this Phupho is turning out to be one seasoned player!

The problem is the actress playing Maham is the weakest link in the drama... they should have cast a really strong actress there....somebody who could have measured up to Bushra Ansari's calibre.

I think Essa will marry Rida and take her with him to London , she might die eventually.

He will come back to Pakistan in the end and Nawera might have to choose between Essa & Dawar.

Completely possible, @abyan!

Will be an absolute pity if they decide to go the cliched way of Navera choosing Davar due to some done to death "because she has to" crap...

Will just make Essa's depth of character completely meaningless, then...

A lot of time and energy have been invested in bringing out the nuances of Essa's love for Navera...

This needs to have it's logical closure... all hopes pined on Samira Fazal for the same! :)
