I guess it was never needed for him to act.Bcoz before he could ,sai already has made pakhi shut her mouth.

I was a fan of Virat too but I can’t stomach the way he mildly rebukes his elders and pp but won’t shy from acting like a brute to his wife for any perceived or conspicuous slight.

Yeah. He asked her why should it bother her even if he liked Pakhi, how is that supposed to be understood by her? He asked her if it was not a deal marriage. And then because his feelings changed for her, he had started her to reciprocate his changed feelings? If Pakhi was not in picture, she might have even understood his feelings. Either Pakhi used to come in between or he himself used to mess it up by letting Pakhi do some unfair things which used to make her think that she was always an important person for him and that Pakhi will be his first priority. Everytime he takes a stand for her moving 2 steps forward, he or Pakhi will do something or the other and take more steps backwards.

Yes as she mentioned yesterday she forgets about the deal momentarily and behaves as his wife. from day 1. The way she shut the door with full rights on their wedding night was so wife like.

Yes that 'pyar' spill is the most cursed thing Virat would have ever done, next only to the stupid vaada.

I have watched scenes after their marriage many times. He was into the marriage more than her is not entirely true. She also had some feelings for him which she kept pushing away. She used to get jealous seeing him on call with Pakhi whom she didn't even know whether it was a girl or not. On the day she visited him at his quarters to ask him go back off from the wedding, she wasn't for the marriage because she didn't want to get married that early, she wasn't ready for it. When he said that he wont backout, she asked him Pakhi ka kya. If he had not told her that he was only taking her responsibility and also not said he had promised someone, committed to someone, she would have accepted it to be a real marriage. She would have also been into this marriage. His words broke her heart. She didn't even know that she had feelings for him but she was so hurt that from then, she started to push him away and started to show as if she is not interested to marry him. It came out of hurt and that was not her true feelings.

My comment was for after the marriage. Had Virat loved someone else than Pakhi, Sai wouldn't have showed any jealousy. She would act like a normal person. It's the way Virat forced her to be guided by Pakhi and how Pakhi used to follow Virat every where that made her feel jealous. Which is normal. Every person would, woman or man. As she had already made up her mind that it will be a deal marriage, she didn't show much of her feelings apart from being jealous. While Virat used to get really affected by every thing she used to say be it leaving him, bringing Pakhi all the time, mentioning deal marriage, saying that she loves only Aayi and Devi, saying that she never wanted to get married to him.

Ofcourse she has tremendous respect for him. Just see her as someone seeking answers and her emotions running high. We cant expect people to think what is right all the time...it is an outburst, not calculated move. So yes she is dragging him in public...but it doesn't mean she does not respect him or love him.

Mark my words, if they are going by KD syllabus, Virat will question her character because he doesnt see her feelings for him. Didnt he say yesterday to Pakhi he will not question her feelings. That is what he thinks when he is calm. But doesnt 'do' it when he is not in senses. Emotions will whack your brain. I am not doing Sai vs Virat here. I am just saying, we think that love and respect go hand in hand and it is correct. but doesnt happen that way 'ALL' the time, especially during an outburst.

1.It’s between two people Virat and Pakhi sona third person shouldn’t be judging their relationship or getting involved in that

She is getting affected. Otherwise also even if she doesnt think she has rights, she will not be questioned if she asks these questions. She is a lawfully wedded wife, she can question on anything. She wants to know answers because she feels something for him.

If she is someone who stands for the right and she felt it was morally wrong then why didn’t she do right after the wedding or refused to marry a man with lose morals ? Why now ?

NO NO she never thought him of loose morals guy. She thought him of someone who is ready to sacrifice his life for the vaada. She always had tremendous respect for him for this selfless act. She married because she did not have any option and it also it was proposed to her as an open marriage. She is now on a different plane, she saw his affections towards her and therefore has expectations from him.

When she isn’t his wife or family member then she doesn’t have any rights to interfere in this matter .

Thats the catch22 here, as wife she wants answers and as third person she wants him to do what is right, like honoring the vaada. She is CONFLICTED. She is not a saint.

I rest my case. :)

I love the way you write . It helps me see the other side . I do agree on few things.

1. I agree on the outburst part , it was beautifully explained. The issue is she never realizes that she is overstepping her boundaries when she is angry . It’s portrayed as if she is right in doin so . I don’t see that with Virat hence able to understand him better .

2. Yes as an lawful wedded wife she has rights but she herself refused to accept in first place . With rights comes responsibilities which she refuses to fulfill any of that . I am not taking about helping his family but as a wife she needs to be with him not use “I will leave you “ everytime she feels it benefits her . As a wife , he needs to trust her husband and have a open communication with him . She fails to do so (I know her dilemma but that’s one of the responsibilities as a wife )

The issue is she believes she is not his wife but a deal wife when it comes to certain situation but she questions him like a wife when it suits her .

3 . I would love to see a grey shade in Sai and would happily accept it provided they don’t whitewash her mistakes.

Oh okay. True, actually this was another mistake made by him and he pushed her away himself. He shouldn't have asked Pakhi to guide her 🤦‍♀️, who does that 🤷‍♀️.

I have also told in one of the posts, an unpopular opinion post, Sai not accepting the marriage, pushing him away acted as a catalyst in their relationship. He felt pulled by her because she pushed him away and refused to accept him as her hsuband. I know that not many would agree to it but I have felt it that way.

That's what makes SaiRat fans mad at him. He should start expressing his feelings and communicate with her. In fact why only him. Both need to sit and discuss. After hospital scene all we expected was a mature talk but all we got was their nok jhok. I didn't even understand when did they come that comfy ? I enjoyed their scenes so didn't complain much but that sudden touching each other, closeness... were quite weird to accept.

As an introvert, I could empathize with Virat for not being able to verbalize his emotion, but even introverts stand up for their loved ones if someone casts aspersions on them.
But here, he just remains quiet when his ex humiliates his wife, whom he claims to love, on daily basis.
