I get your point - but when Imlie needed to raise issues or speak for herself - she has done them regardless of family. In PG she did question Meethi and her apney villagers on why baar baar she had to justify her relationship with BBSB ans why they did not trust her word and also with SK when he was going to hurt BBSB. When she was accused by the T family of stealing she also spoke of her hurt. She is innately courageous...all the things that have happened to her have taken a toll on her and I can see how she may have needed additional encouragement...but its not like Aparna or Adi are teaching her something she does not know how to do. Those 2 scenes were unneccesary prop scenes for her reaction to Anu the next day and seemed very short term thinking for me at least. They could have explored so many other options like Imlie's diction etc. Even the day before Holi is when Adi muses on how Imlie brings color to his life. Such scenes to me seem contrived - thats all. :)

Agree👍🏼! She has been innately courageous consistently. Mujhe bhi thoda contrived hi laga wo adi and apu ke scenes. She has always found her nerve to stand up to injustices due to her daddas seekh. Ye siraf trp fodder tha to satisfy the public. Public ka feedback lo par khud ka common sense bhi use karna nahi chahte makers😆. As standalone scenes they were somewhat sweet.

who is complaining about that. I don't mind watching BS out of control distraught for Imliya again :) Those scenes are fun to watch!

Why do you say that? I feel Imlie will reject once more. I cant see her agreeing to BBSB because he said so and she is not yet convinced. What changed since the last time - the fact that Malini brought up KC to the rest of the family? Imlie still does not believe it. If Imlie changes her mind now that means she is compromising on her belief that Malini loves Adi and is lying about KC. Imlie accepting Adi's ultimatum is in effect her compromising on her values regarding didi in favor of BBSB. I'm not saying that decision is wrong - just that it for once it makes Imlie watch out for her own interests. Which is necessarilty not bad. just unsure if makers want to show Imlie bowing down down to her own love for Adi and his pressure.
