For some reason I liked the drama more than the movie....I think I was comparing the movie to the drama and thought it was missing something.

Hi Friends,

How are you all doing ? Quickly browsed through last few pages. Sandy and Arthi , So sorry to hear the loss in your family . I got vaccinated in Mar-Apr and things were looking good. Thought finally world is closer to getting rid of covid . Never expected this kind of second wave would hit India. My heart goes out to all those people suffering in India.

My Son (who is 14) got vaccinated last week. Daughter is not 12 yet. We hesitated to get him take the shot as my pediatrician is kind of against covid vaccinations for children- she said, we won’t know how these vaccines would affect the kids in the long run - they have released it without proper testing. CDC normally test vaccines for years ( HPV vaccine for kids they released after 15 years of testing) . Dr said it is up to the parents. Seeing what’s happening in India and heard that variant was found in Dallas - we decided to vaccinate our son.

Worried for my in laws in Coimbatore and for my parents. We are here far away and scared every minute thinking abt their well being.
I hope and pray things would get better soon for everyone.

Character and plot development i guess, drama has enough time to build story with little suspense and cinematography and locations were great in drama ,which the movie lacks

Also in drama supporting casts have storyline of their own, inpreferred their story over main leads

What i liked in movie is that it was close to reality, the male lead was not that perfect and female lead actually had a part in developing his gaming company

Psbb issue, feel bad for the students, glad that some are coming out and complaining

Such creeps get away easily with such behaviour cos many dont speak up and even if they do certain section of society will blame the victims as well

Long back i read nearly 90% woman face sexual harrasment, some at very early stage and majority dont speak up,i too faced it few times,i should thank god cos sometimes i had someone save me out of that situation

I think sex education should be taught to kids too,so they grow up knowing good and bad touches and behaviour,my dad when i was 12 taught me about bad touch, after that i was quite alert

I have met a lot of good strangers, who protected me,thank god and them as well

Hello all,

I’m just catching up on the thread. A lot is going on around us that it feels like we are living in a dystopian world. Finally have my vaccines booked, and my family members too. Yet somehow I’m still not entirely convinced by their efficacy. Just hope this situation sorts itself out soon. Hearing about deaths so frequently is extremely worrisome. I feel really bad for young children especially who won’t know what normal life is even like.

Still there is no dearth of other dramatic issues around us 😅 First this PSBB thing, then a lot of other schools got called out as well. I am shocked how these teachers have gotten away with things so far. It definitely must be a level of confidence on their part and negligence from management. I still don’t like the arrogance of how some of these schools dealt with this issue. They can feign ignorance, but at least say a simple apology for the harm and trauma caused. Hope now parents are a lot more vigilant and don’t just blindly trust schools for their brand name.

Then this whole Vairamuthu and ONV thing happened. I’m glad women are speaking out, but it’s one of those things where everyone is just talking a lot about but no proper action is being taken. I understand it’s not so simple to prove or disprove something like this, but wish it was at least investigated. Otherwise this is just dragging on for years now with no conclusion. Ruling parties may have changed but I still see no difference in this.

Then as always a lot of drama with our favourite BB contestants 😂 I cared for all of 5 seconds about all that, but now I feel it’s all completely unnecessary and irrelevant in the current circumstances. Evalavo nadakuthu, idha debate panni enna panna porom? Avangaley adichikittu sort out pannatum.

Hi Ayesha 🤗 . You have written exactly what I was thinking about these current happenings.

Glad to know some of us were to able to get the shots/book them.

Maya - glad to know you have decided to get vaccinated . Last time we spoke , you weren’t going to get it. Better be safe than sorry as other variants might pop up in the future.

Rose - I was thinking abt you sometime back - if u got married . How is married life ?

sandy - read abt your house issues. Good , you shifted from that place . Where in Coimbatore you are in currently ? Our house is in Peelamedu.

I see Udhay online as well . How r u doing Udhay ? Heard things are getting little better in Chennai .
