i didnt realize when i first watched the scene, and then was like what's going on with david, why is he ubbing it in stevie's nose that he was super rich all of a sudden, so rewatched and then it clicked. metaphor level 101!

The wine metaphor has been used in the community for a long time. Dan (Levy) said he did a whole lot of research for writing the show. šŸ’–

Wow, did not know that! Thanks for sharing. Dan is from the community, so I'm sure he did his research on the show and it shows!

I came across this illuminating video on Twitter where people from the community explain their identities and orientations.

I just read the post shared by Neha, the one related to the trans children. It is so shameful to call it a FACT even after the fact has no good motive in it. We all know what are parents do for us it's for our welfare but deciding our gender without our consent is not some thing which we deserve.

+ most of the schools do not provide a good knowledge about the LGBTQ+ community. Each and every child should be taught that even the LGBTQ people deserve respect and are no different than them. According to me, we learnt the moral values which teachers and parents taught to us. We learnt them and we started nurturing those good values within us. If the schools and our parents taught us from the start that being a gay or a lesbian or a transgender isn't shameful, our society would have been changed long ago. It is all about that we were either never told about the community or when said the community seemed to be a matter of 'shame' for us.

The youth of the present era have become so disrespectful to such communities. It is needed for them to go into the depth of the matter and then react to it. But since they were asked to cook up such disrespectful stories since childhood, nothing is helping to make them understand the factšŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø.
