I think whatever he does is going to get judged and bashed now. However, I personally cannot watch SaiRat without liking both so if this place objects to someone like me then it is better that I just leave and watch SaiRat away from here in peace because some posts have really got to me

See there are people both in Twitter and India forum who is bashing Neil , so he don't like those posts just avoid them, avoid karna is best mantra and follow what ever posts you like, now a days I follow only EDT, social media sometimes and few specific writer's posts... That's make me very less active on India forum but I don't mind... And while coming to bashing of virat , there are two types of bashing going on , one unnecessary and one is healthy bashing because of what he is doing in serial because of virat charector and same goes with sai too... So you can put your pov over there and read few interesting pov and analysis... But at end of the day ignore what ever you don't like is best mantra

It is sad; i actually like a lot of people I have interacted especially on the SM thread. However, there was a comment today after the episode aired on the EDT thread about morals and that post REALLY got to me. Why should I have to tread on egg shells and ignore random posts? I am not the one hating on the ML/actor playing the ML. This is a TV show; for entertainment; based in a patriarchal society; based on an officer marrying a girl against his will for a promise made to her father and slowly, gradually falling in love with that girl; mistreating that girl and repenting in his heart and falling for her even harder. This is not a show based in a Western country, where the girl would have been looked after by the system; applied for scholarships or financial aid to go to college and medical school; married someone she fell in love with before she married that man and LEFT and never looked back IF he mistreated her or if he had the baggage that Viru was carrying. So based on the world I live in; the entire concept of this show is messy. So what's my fault then? That I chose to watch a story written for a demographic where the basic premise itself is so twisted? Or that I look at some things from the ML's POV? Or that I find the ML is a fantastic actor? Oh but how can either of these be true? Liking the ML cannot happen if you are on the FL's side because both of these things are mutually exclusive. Thinking that the ML is a good actor cannot happen either because he is acting with his gf and does not react like his character should towards her character. Rolling eyes at someone's post or mocking someone's childish behaviour or laughing about a character getting undue importance is fine BUT constantly trying to put others down when they are real people because they have a view that might not agree with yours and calling them immoral or blind bhakts is NOT OK

I can understand you, and I can't deny that this is happening in our forum which even I am not liking, as you mentioned this is drama which based on actually social norms or patriarchal society, which we all are watching together and everyone have their right to put their own pov but don't have right to judge others morals or saying mean things about others... But I really don't get why they are doing that especially because our view is different from their's.... Waise bhi don't care what they think or say, if you don't like their language just answer them with due respect but no need to find fault in our selves, every person have their own views and yes there is nothing wrong to like ML or his acting... Even now I genuinely agree that Neil is the best actor among three and do justice to his character onscreen , and ayesha is improving everyday ,for me that's enough to like them, I really don't care about offscreen...
