I read the scene the same way. Also loved the little surprise in his eyes at the fact that he had hugged her as a natural instinct, that she settled into his embrace, and how good (and right) it felt not just to her, but to him as well. I don't think he's hugged anyone like that in ages, and she probably never got that comfort from anyone as she's the one who keeps doing that for others, like you said. She was panicking but he was also stressed in that situation, yet seeing her state he prioritized her and put his own worries aside for a second. The scene was just beautifully done, especially when he stroked her back without any awkwardness, it's as if as a husband he knew exactly what she needed at that moment. They are so in tune with each other already. I love it!

He also leaned into her, I don't know if he was smelling her hair or just taking in her essence but it was so wonderfully done. Them in side profile was perfect too.

Yes I think after she rested on him and was accepting the hug , he leaned in...and started soothing her with his hand. She was just so pitifully lost there...first time in life she was getting this security . And he was feeling soothed too.

It was just reverse of how she made him sleep night before. With full rights.

It will be much more angst and turmoil if Mandaar is a good guy. Raghav will have to deal with it and know that nothing can be done. Pallavi has to love him and choose him for his own sake and not because Mandaar turned out to be a bad guy.

Positive second lead thing was tried in JNDSD but it was a mess. Fl married the guy who was positive and there was nothing against him for her to not to love him. But she didn't fall for her husband and keeps on loving Ml. There was so much hate for Fl for not loving her outright good husband. That show was from the makers of KRPKAB. Forum was turned into warzone by second lead's fans. I don't want Mandar to be a pupular actor otherwise his fans will be bashing Pallavi for loving RR

I think they are professional actors and they know exactly how much ''intimacy'' is needed in such scenes and also that if they somehow let their inhibitions get in the way then the scene will not be as effective, in short fall flat.. and both Sai and Shivangi are such sincere newcomers and so ''eager'' to make their mark and give their best in every shot that they will never let that happen. The hug was as close and ''tight'' as it was supposed to be.. the circumstance didn't call for a tight, passionate hug..her father was in jail..

It was definitely one of the most meaningful scenes I have ever watched. The way pallavi opened her eyes in the initial moments of the hug, felt like she was trying to weigh the consequences of this for a moment and then she decided that she’s not going to worry about anything and let herself go. She realised that she needed it. She melted in his arms and he sensed it, snuggled in to her more and then caressing her hair! Haaaye

Because all through the hug he was trying to read her reactions! All he wanted to do was comfort her and that’s why it was super beautiful.

what adds to this fact is that he didn’t break the hug when farhad entered. He let her decide.

And Shivangi! Way this girl portrayed Pallavi in that moment. It was amicable. And she did it all with her eyes.
You could see Pallavi felt protected in Raghav’s arms, at a difficult time. For the first time she wasn’t alone. She didn’t have to face the world all by herself this time. And this warmth that reached her heart didn’t let her pull away from the hug. She likes that comfort. And yet you could see a slight confusion in her eyes, as if she’s just standing there engulfed in his arms wondering to herself that how could this man make her feel this way, something she hasn’t felt with anyone else!

Pulling her into an embrace was his initial spontaneous instinct..she was quivering in his arms.. but he was a lil surprised by how she leaned on him and just let go.. as if for the first time in what must have been ages, she felt like she had someone to share the burden of all her worries, her day to day struggles..even he realized it and started stroking her back gently..sometimes that's all one needs right? a hug and an assurance that all will be ok..

But still agree. Todays hug was the right tone. Pallavi was just zoned out thinking of her baba and at same time feeling security from raghav. Raghav was curious about how he hugged her.. and then stroked her head with his hand.

Bus there was some thing missing from sai' s side..

Dnt know y...m i xpecting too much.. or its like..sai's other acting skills are muxh better he has to improvize in emotional romantic scenes..

She needed it. Raghav observed her sometime ,once she calmed down he stroked her hair.. she got it now she isn't alone anymore.. she also got it when he told he will take care. raghav promised her she won't be alone hereafter and he also reunited her with her aai unfortunately time isn't good.. glad pallavi didn't forget instead acknowledged and asked him to join.. slowly they both coming out of the shell.

Also i didn't like the way he made fun of her saree shop saying it's a gully shop... Nobody would take it when you degrade their work or show as if it is not of any worth.. you too started JJ with a small shop might be... Aisa nahi ki viraasat me mila hain or you started handling all 200 stores right from start.. you should know the value of hard work and how each stair is climbed to achieve the position you are in now.. then why taunt others work???

It's to show he's still RR and has a long way to go.
