No, we don't feel that it is the character's fault, it is poor direction 😡 who are not taking care of such details. They probably wouldn't have even realised that such scenes can give wrong meanings to audience. We all know what he feels and he has moved on but anyone would expect him to maintain that distance which the director should have ensured while directing the scene.

It's the direction and editing of the scenes. They need to really correct it. I hope this msg goes to the team somehow.

I am not sure.. like here some people do...even the makers and actors make it all about offscreen dynamics , even when right things are pointed out...The same happened when it was brought up that Sai is harassing Virat.. they made it all about how fans dont understand Patralekha.. Now if you say one scene was good cinematography vise and other not, they will bring in the whole offscreen dynamics and cry foul.. We are stuck and how.. in the wrong show.. 😆

Illai pa. I watched that scene three to four times because dialogues were bit rushed. I wanted to make sure what pakhi was trying to say.

Before that Sai shuts her up. IMO That scene was not at al required. It kind of put her character further in the shithole.

I don't know if the shocked expression was of Pakhi or Pakhi playing Devi Tai because I hardly ever have been able to differentiate between Aishwarya's expressions for anger, hurt and sad.

But I think it is Pakhi as Devi Tai because it must be in their play script. Sai wrote the script after seeing Harini push Devi. Pakhi must know about this scene.

He had already stopped his Dad, what can she achieve by talking to Virat? Let Ninad slap Ashwini? No, why and how? Doesnt make sense.

Exactly, i wrote this in Devikadish post too. The schocked reaction was for the character Devi who fell down and not Pakhi.
